I love the way Billie can evoke an emotion using word play. He's one of the most efficient songwriters I know, able to convey so much in the fewest words. This just struck me as I'm listening to Demolicious and specifically Missing You: "I PUNCH the walls, I HIT the street, I'm POUNDING the pavement". Those three connected words used in three common figures of speech makes the line feel more anxious and desperate. Bloody genius.

In a Gn'R Facebook group someone posted a pic of a newspaper clipping with a Target Field (Minnesota) representative confirming that the Gn'R show and Hella Mega (August 23) are both being pushed til 2022. The US tour as it stands isn't happening. Why would they push some shows til next Summer but play others this year? I feel like Memorial Day weekend coming up and 4th of July in the US will cause a huge rise in cases and set a lot of states back in reopening fully. I know Billie has talked about his substance abuse before, but I just want to say that it was really brave of him to discuss it again in this audio special and go into more detail. Because I'm a biology person, I was curious about the physiological consequences of the interactions between the medications he mentioned and alcohol and did a little research on it. As expected, it's a very dangerous combination that can slow, or worst case even stop, breathing and the heart. Billie really was dancing with death and it makes me all the more proud of him for making the decision to get the help he needed and grateful that he's still with us. I don't think I was aware of how hard making 21CB was on him before listening to this, so no wonder pursuing that beast of a Trilogy right after took such a mental toll on him. I'm happy that he seems to be making his own well being more of a priority these days.

I didn’t have to pay any duty on my CD @Rumpelstiltskin2000 but it took a week to get to me from arriving in London according to UPS, delivered by Royal Mail, same as t-shirt.
