I always like it when he has some extra bellie going on. And the all time classic4 points
-
I feel like these days he's a little bit more aware that he's attractive, even though he would still be modest about it. Ever since the American Idiot era "makeover", rocking the eyeliner and floofy hair and fancy outfits etc I mean, and he even has his teeth fixed now. Seems like he takes more pride in his appearance and is more confident about it with age. You can see it in his showmanship on stage, definitely sexy and he knows it the way he teases the crowd at times (although of course it's done with a good sense of humour and not arrogantly).4 points

Yeah, me too. Sounds like a broken record to say we miss him, but it continues to be true and will be so every day (at least for me). That's just an inevitability when someone you care a lot about is absent.4 points

Just got my Insomniac record from @The Grohl! It's so shiny and awesome!4 points

Stumbled across this again, just love it, he’s a big star, all dressed up for this event, lots of people want to speak to him/meet him, but look at his body language at the end, he’s like a little boy, so sweet 🥰 https://www.instagram.com/p/B8Y8injBPX-/?igshid=yirr6e67z24t3 points

Three different people have told me they like my Green Day mask, and every time I can't help but think, do you actually know who it is? What if they're thinking it's a totally different band?3 points
-
I think what you guys are saying is true and his confidence has grown over the years, quite common I think given how young he was starting out. However, I feel he is almost two different Billie’s, the private one and the on stage persona. I love his sexy teasing on stage but I also love his self-deprecating side too, I like that he never comes over as arrogant. He should be taking care of himself too, better than he used to, and I love the contrast between business Billie and off duty Billie, full hobo aside 😂😂 I don’t like the weird body buildings look but I Iike Billie’s trim, naturally muscled physique very much. 😍😍3 points

Yes, I agree it seems he's become more confident over the years and that's attractive itself. But even back when this interview came out, he wasn't particularly shy, since this was the era when King For A Day was introduced3 points

My daughter managed to find me the Rustie Wired hoodie with the red lining that I'd always wanted for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. Like this but in my size https://www.instagram.com/p/B90jrKOHziy/?igshid=1xpza51yp4k6b Took 11 years but now I have both. I got one for her last year!3 points
-
Omg for the last time, he wasn't pantsless! 😅 That graphic above speaks truer than anything I have ever seen. No thank you, musclebound freaks! Yes please, reasonably toned Billie.3 points
-
He did the wise thing if he was upset about the comments. It could go pretty bad if he lashed out and got into a fight over the Joey thing. (I absolutely DO NOT want to know his opinion on this matter.) Plus it’s probably less stressful to not have to deal with public social media at least for a while when he doesn’t need to do it “for work”. I still miss his content though.3 points
-
Oh yeah he definitely wasn't shy . I think it used to be more of a silly/shocking thing though. The kind of "sexy tease" thing he does sometimes now is a bit different.2 points
-
Oh he definitely knows how attractive he is now He's all like "lil ol me? You think I'm cute? Pshaw" and then post a shirtless selfie that he KNOWS the fangirls will salivate over.2 points

Yaasss Gimme that pale lanky body any day over muscly dudes2 points

I saw some scans of an old interview yesterday where Billie said he feels ugly most of the time and idk I guess seeing this 500 page thread made me think of it again. Seems the public opinion is way different2 points

Same here, I’ll take a tattooed rock god any day over muscled lunks2 points

New Green Day album will contain a track where Billie records himself loudly sniffing poppers to flex on Fink.2 points

Hearing from a few people who are related to the band and guessing that this coronavirus thing will be much more in control by next year. That's why I needed to say 'probably'. Of course nobody knows when the coronavirus will end. So let's say this is just a fair estimation at the moment.2 points

Where did you come up with September 2022? We don't really know anything about this next album.1 point
-
All albums have their own characteristics. New Green Day album which will come out (probably) around September 2022 will surely be one of the best and there's no doubt it will be a favourite of most fans. Keep in mind that 20th Anniversary of American Idiot is coming after the new album. Expect some surprises and a big solid new album in the fall of 2022. (Not much later and not sooner)1 point

Wow, I love it! So stupid, but so fun. I guess your brain was really trying to tackle life's big questions with that mushroom dream, huh?1 point
-
My last three dreams have been about Ctulhu trying to scare me and failing, then I had a dream in which I was pondering if growing oyster mushrooms on boats would have helped avoid malnutrition and scurvy, and finally, I dreamed someone was trying to sell me oregano claiming it’s LSD. I can’t say it’s a drought in the dream department, but wtf, brain, wtf!1 point

GNR have just postponed their UK/Euro Tour until 2022. Looking ever more likely Hella Mega isn't going to happen (at least in Europe)1 point

California plans on reopening everything on June 15. So not sure how that plays out for stadium type shows, but indoor shows at the clubs hopefully are going to happen again. Maybe we can get some club shows with Green Day around here in the bay area. I am sure that outdoor events will happen again, but still hearing only about 65% capacity. If all vaccinated, then it was reported that everyone can attend without restrictions on seating and standing on the floor for the shows. It would have to be a special section for the vaccinated and others would show a covid negative test but be restricted on where they can sit and still have only sit in pods. "When California reaches that threshold, large-scale indoor events, such as conventions, will be allowed to occur with testing or vaccination verification requirements."1 point

It seems I’ll most likely have lots of exams and a thesis defence all in the same week as the Green Day show would have been, so I guess the show not happening is one less thing to worry about. I would hate to miss out on Green Day because of having to get a stupid degree1 point
-
Yeah true. Or he might simply just not feel like being on social media (whether just randomly, or he stopped because of something specific but then found he didn't miss it, or whatever). Doesn't even have to be for one particular reason or for strong reasons.1 point
-
It's understandable to miss him being on Instagram but it doesn't mean he's "given up" or anything that serious. He's never been that into social media and not wanting to be on it is a valid choice. Up until a few years ago this was the norm for Billie (he's only had his own social media accounts since 2011 - and hasn't always been active on them) and it's still normal that not everyone has them, celebrities included. It's not something he's doing against us, whether you feel like being on social media is a good thing for you or not is a personal thing. Also it might not even be permanent. Maybe at some point he'll feel like coming back. It's probably not enjoyable to have people harassig him about Joey on there so makes sense that he doesn't right now.1 point

My cousin worked for the major production company that was going to bring Green Day to the Philippines last March. If I'm not mistaken, it was the 2nd date on the Asia tour. It would have been the first time Green Day played Manila. We were told to refund our tickets late last year. Last week, Manila underwent it's 2nd wave. The surge saw 15000 new cases & rising. Edit: For those interested to know, My cousin's job was to provide water bottles for Brendon Urie during shows & make sandwiches for Axl Rose backstage. She loved + hated her job. 😝1 point

I do agree. But I'd still swap it for a small side project show every time haha. If I'd never seen a big Green Day show before I'd want to at least once but now I already have that's my stance . I'm actually still so happy I got to see them once that I've viewed every time I've seen them after that as a bonus. Any size show and any band from them is great. But a Network tour would be particularly fun and awesome, especially as they've never done one before and especially with such amazing new material.1 point
-
And even if they “allow” stadium gigs.. there isn’t a single major touring band who would transport equipment over just to do the UK1 point
-
To be fair I would rather see a Network, Foxboro Hot Tubs or Longshot tour than a Green Day tour at any time ever1 point
-
Restaurants/pubs/cinemas etc in the UK aren't even allowed to open (other than for outdoor stuff) until May 17th at the earliest. I get they want to try stuff out but I highly doubt stadium gigs will be happening the following month.1 point
-
It won’t happen if it’s just the UK though, it’s not worth it financially if the EU tour can’t happen neitherwill the UK1 point

Yeah me too and in the end, it’s always fun to listen to a new song even if it’s a throwaway1 point

Haha, that song gave us PTSD 😄 As long as the next one is not for the NHL I'm hopeful1 point

You would think wouldn't you? You know what would be even better? A statement from the band and maybe a new song to make up for it.1 point

Every RevRad picture he’s just so ecstatically happy it’s infectious though. Those big smiles. What a tour 🥰1 point

It was really bugging me I couldn't remember so I asked @solongfromthestars and it's Tempe, Arizona - 11 March 2013. I was really impressed - I just asked and got an immediate answer!1 point

Somewhere now and Forever now are the best things Green Day realase after American Idiot1 point
-
Yes, this. Somewhere Now and Forever Now were fantastic and I personally think that their Who'esque / more classic rock sound has always been their best, they are so incredibly good at it. So I kind of hope that in the future, that's where they're going, a more mature, experimental, maybe even prog rock direction. One can dream I also loved the Back In The USA style and thought, wow, now they're onto something. Political, ironic, but in a lighter, funnier way than 21CB. But then they took a turn onto party highway again, not my favourite Green Day street, ah well. I still liked most songs on FOAM though. These guys definitely know how to surprise us. Anything is possible.1 point
-
I just want something interesting musically and for the band to push themselves. I actually thought FOAM was pretty great and fresh. Whilst I like Revrad a lot, FOAM felt less forced. Stuff like FOA, Junkies On a High, Graffitia were great and very interesting. I want them to either fully embrace the Foxboro sound and go full garage or do the big cinematic, 21st century breakdown but Rawer sound. Stuff like Somewhere Now, Restless heart syndrome, Before The lobotomy etc. I don't want Dookie or AI again. I'm sick of the fan base keeping Green Day in a box and hating anything if it's not 3 powerchords and pUnK. I love the early albums but I'm kind of tired of that and want something maturer and for them to experiment a bit. Here comes the shock though, was pretty bad.1 point
-
Anything that feels fresh. I liked FOAM because they weren’t repeating themselves and instead came up with something a bit different and that’s fun.1 point
