  1. Even if small per venues are allowed, I think the current situation in Europe, which I assume could happen again with so many countries being in different places with COVID, would make a big, multi-country tour very difficult.

  5. Yeah, same with Canada. No way the Toronto show is going ahead. I can MAYBE see some shows happening in the states that have just opened everything up because they no longer give a fuck, but at the same time, would they do a tour of this size with minimal dates? Idk. Honestly, I'm getting a bit frustrated that they haven't said anything. Most bands/artists that had tour dates booked for this year have at least cancelled, postponed dates again, or even have just SAID something by now. The fact that the European shows are under 2 months away and we've heard nothing but radio silence is odd. I get that they're likely waiting for the countries to say no concerts allowed due to insurance and whatnot, but like... come on.

  6. Every RevRad picture he’s just so ecstatically happy it’s infectious though. Those big smiles. What a tour 🥰

  7. It's hopeful news but tbh I'd rather just wait than go to a show in these conditions. It would be fine for cinema or theatre but for gigs it just....wouldn't be very good. Unless they were playing a 1500 place at 10% capacity and by some miracle you got one of the 150 tickets lol.

  9. I would be excited for you guys in the US if you can get shows this year, but there’s no way this is going to happen in Europe, because each country has its own rules, quarantines for people coming into the country, vaccination is going slowly in the EU and new cases are still high. I’m not considering this tour as a possibility at all.

  11. And the way our boys hugged each other at the end of the shows, and had the masks etc, it was just lovely! it was really special, I was so proud of him, I think a lot of us sobbed 🥲

  16. Question is will they say anything. The Asia tour was quietly canceled with no statement from the band.

  18. Has anyone else thought of Lights Out (21cb bonus track/b-side) as the opposite of See the Light? While See the Light is the optimistic and light at the end of the tunnel kind of song, Lights Out is the opposite. Pessimistic and no light at the end of the tunnel. This can be seen just from the song title which is opposite to See the Light, as well as the dark lyrics "Lights out, here comes the night As the darkness falls over the light Lights out, there goes the day And this fear that comes won't go away" It could be possible that this could be considered an alternate ending to 21st Century Breakdown which ends the album on a much more depressing note. Maybe the band intended for this to be a closer but opted for See the Light to give that light at the end of the tunnel. What are your thoughts?

  19. Had a dream that GD was going to be performing on tv. I was watching at the house I grew up in, and had the tv on a different channel when the batteries in the remote died (@Slave To The Network why are we both dreaming about batteries? ). I had to run downstairs to get more batteries from the fridge (I do not keep batteries in the fridge in my conscious life). The light in the fridge which was candle powered kept going out. I was debating if I should be concerned by that, but decided the performance was more important, so I went back to watch. Everything was going great, Billie looked happy and healthy, when it turned into an Ashley Simpson type moment of the song playing not matching what they were doing. Then I woke up.

  22. You would think wouldn't you? You know what would be even better? A statement from the band and maybe a new song to make up for it.

  30. I just don’t get how the capacity limit would work for shows that already have tickets sold, though. That would be a nightmare unless everyone is issued a refund and we have to fight for tickets again, which doesn’t seem fair. Not to mention the logistical nightmare that would be timing your COVID test results to a 72-hour window. Still don’t get how that would work either, especially if you have thousands of people in an area seeking a test in the same timeframe. What if your results are late from the lab or something? You’re out the money you spent on tickets?
