Unless we're talking limited capacity with social distancing large gigs are gonna be the very last thing that's allowed to happen. Thousands of people from far and wide pushed together like sardines, yeah no that's not happening. Even if it was somehow allowed there's no way I'd want to do that this summer, it would be totally irresponsible that soon. That's an 'after every person who's able to be vaccinated has had their full dose(s), waited long enough for it to be fully effective and case numbers have reduced drastically to the point it's no longer considered a pandemic' activity.

I love Fire Ready Aim! Billie's high pitched angry singing in the verses is awesome and super cute . There's something really enjoyable about the melody/tempo/singing combo. I love when it comes on when I'm running, it's nice and catchy and energetic. I'd like to see it live, I'd accept it as a Know Your Enemy replacement. Honestly I just like the shark thing with Here Comes the Shark Shock, that's pretty much the extent of my enjoyment of it. I still think it's just standard b side/didn't quite make the album material though, not indicative of anything terrible.

Everyone calm down (not that anyone is freaking out) but basically omg the hate the Trilogy got and it’s my fav record(s) along with American Idiot and Dookie. All Green Day is good Green Day depending on the mood you’re in or who you are everyone is different. And you can change too and grow to love a song you initially didn’t like at all. My least fav album 21st Century Breakdown and Rev Rad wasn’t that exciting (but still better than 21CB). Except for Gloria and Horseshoes and Hand Grenades and ok the whole record is pretty great. Ok never mind I love Rev Rad and 21CB too. My point is: holy I can’t believe how much hate the Trilogy got and I think it’s one of the best albums and I think a lot of people have changed their minds after the initial listen. Sure there’s some songs on there I will skip every single time but there are some real good songs like the best songs Green Day have ever wrote on those records too. Green Day have not gone to shit. They have released 786587 songs during a pandemic and maybe not every song grabs you. That’s fine. They’re grabbing someone else during the time being. Here Comes the Shock is growing on me and I like listening to it but I’m not going to get a tattoo of it or anything. Not every song needs to shake you to the core to mean that Green Day is still great. In conclusion, Green Day have not gone to shit and I am not worried about a thing. P.S. the Longshot rules all.

Does he have a drawn on mustache? Leave it to Billie to look spectacular and then throw it off by doing something dumb like that.

Agree with the first two but Walk Away shouldn't be that high on priority list; its guitar intro is really good and song doesn't suffer that much from not having more gain in guitars. Beautiful song, but I wish Billie would've written little more in to chorus than just Walk Away (some things never change seeing Here Comes The Shock suffers from the very same thing) and key change in the end feels really unnecessary. I'm very surprised Billie didn't make Otix mix for Stay the Night considering that is one of his favorites from Trilogy (he plays it almost every time with Longshot). That songs needs more power that Uno! version lacked heavily and the same thing can be said with many other Trilogy songs; Loss of Control, Let Yourself Go, Angel Blue, A Little Boy Named Train, 99 Revolutions and so on. Fuck I love Trilogy.

Interestingly, nothing Green Day has released since the trilogy has been nearly as good as the trilogy 🤔
