I love Fire Ready Aim! Billie's high pitched angry singing in the verses is awesome and super cute . There's something really enjoyable about the melody/tempo/singing combo. I love when it comes on when I'm running, it's nice and catchy and energetic. I'd like to see it live, I'd accept it as a Know Your Enemy replacement. Honestly I just like the shark thing with Here Comes the Shark Shock, that's pretty much the extent of my enjoyment of it. I still think it's just standard b side/didn't quite make the album material though, not indicative of anything terrible.

Does he have a drawn on mustache? Leave it to Billie to look spectacular and then throw it off by doing something dumb like that.

Unless we're talking limited capacity with social distancing large gigs are gonna be the very last thing that's allowed to happen. Thousands of people from far and wide pushed together like sardines, yeah no that's not happening. Even if it was somehow allowed there's no way I'd want to do that this summer, it would be totally irresponsible that soon. That's an 'after every person who's able to be vaccinated has had their full dose(s), waited long enough for it to be fully effective and case numbers have reduced drastically to the point it's no longer considered a pandemic' activity.

I just mean if they were going to play FRA live, the KYE slot would be a good place for it because it's got a similar vibe. Oh also the verses of FRA remind me of some classic Green Day with the spiteful lyrics ("Stick a hammer in your mouth, you're a liar/Knock your teeth out to the ground"), they're like something from Nimrod. It's an underrated gem imo.

'Missing You' came on shuffle and made me think about how much I miss Billie. 😢

So I just finished my edit of the show (coming soon =P) and with all the footage/audio they released to us, my edit only goes to 20:16, now if you include transitions and etc I assume it could also fit onto one side with the same tracks.

OP was just asking whether there's examples of Billie talking about it in interviews (which there are, as well as in lyrics), so speculation wasn't involved.

It'e very public knowledge that Billie has a panic/anxiety disorder because he has mentioned it many times. From what I can tell, there is not really a lot of speculation going on. Mainly just acknowledgment of what Billie has said he's struggled with and how his ability to overcome has inspired a lot of fans with similar issues.

I don't know if anyone has already mentioned it but Rammstein have just pushed back their European Summer Tour to 2022 so I'm sure Hella Mega will be doing the same or cancelling

I'm no industry insider but I'd bet that's it. Then they aren't liable for anything if local governments don't allow stadiums at full capacity this Summer. There's zero chance these shows happen this year. They aren't gonna do a Texas /Florida tour. The only question now is does the tour get cancelled or pushed til 2022. Texas and Florida,sure. Just because we're tired of the pandemic doesn't mean it stops. That's not how Science works. Especially with reports of new emerging variants. There's a reason why there have been pretty much zero new major tours announced for this Summer. Everything big (Hella Mega, Motley/Def Lep, Guns N' Roses, Sad Summer etc) got pushed from last year. Pearl Jam had a good twenty plus US/Canada sold out arena shows scheduled for 2020 and didn't even announce new dates yet.

The thing with the codes to my taste is that they should provide the digital vynil master, like Rhino did with the last Rush repress, because is pointless to invest in the vynil and get the code for the cd master. I recall my friend getting the tune in, tokyo vynil and it had a code. The code was redeemed and it was the cd master. Disappointed to say something

Me too but honestly I feel like them even acknowledging an album’s anniversary with a special release like this is a great step forward. Hopefully going forward we can start to hear studio takes/chatter, unreleased songs, etc. but I’m super happy with this package. Just picked up my vinyl copy this afternoon

That’s fine if tickets haven’t been sold yet, but for postponed shows that already sold tickets to near capacity, what are they gonna do, randomly refund 80% of tickets? They couldn’t anyway because the tour would lose so much money they wouldn’t be able to do it

I can't explain how much love I have for this record, I fall in love with it at each new listen. This is a underrated masterpiece, so glad it got this re-release

I'm surprised at how much of a noticeable difference there is in the remaster. The bass definitely stands out way more and the guitars feel less in your face.

When you remember it's St. Patrick's Day and the only thing about it that matters to you is the anniversary of Billie's naked window post. What is that photo from? I've seen a few pictures of that event and Billie is extremely cute there. I've never bothered to figure out where it's from, though. Is it an interview? If there's footage of it then I'd love to see it.

Honestly at this point I just want to see what look like the FOAM era setlist for Green Day during a full show.

They put the stage in the outfield, cover the grass/dirt with fake flooring and then add chairs/barricades. Wrigley Field (Chicago) does it every year multiple times a season. And actually, the Raiders and Oakland A's used to play in the exact same stadium. The football field was in the outfield.

Somewhere out there is behind the scenes footage. I must find it!

Green Day have written quite a lot about feeling isolated and I think that's something that near everyone has been feeling for the past year. And with how the world is politically right now, I can see Green Day's next album being one of their bests lyrically if they play their cards right

I kind of feel like FOAM might not have been what we wanted, but it's what we needed from Green Day in 2020. Partying while the world's on fire is exactly what they'd do. But how did they know? After this whole mess is over and the world is (hopefully) recovering from the pandemic, I feel like we might get a more reserved, sober, mature album. But all I know is that I don't know nothin'.

I'm actually listening to Nimrod right now and I just love the silly and witty lyrics they had. "Don't pat yourself on the back you might break your spine". Loved the lyrics on Insomniac too. I just really miss that in their music. Lyrically they have been struggling but Billie is a brilliant songwriter.
