The reason I wrote that wasn't intended as a jab at you but it was more to vent about my frustrations with this useless government of my country that seems to work for the virus!

Oh, I guess "take me" is generally used to mean other stuff isn't it. I forgot about that because I don't really talk like that. Not what I meant at all. I just meant like take me away from reality or something. I didn't mean it sexually - he's just extremely pretty and thinking about that and how amazing he is is an escape. I guess I should have just said that instead. Oops. I'm taking that out of my post. Here are some pictures for the misunderstanding:

I will say, it feels absolutely nothing like we have our shit together right now. Especially since each state is doing things differently. It feels like the Hunger Games, especially when older people aren’t able to use the technology required to get them. I just hope we somehow don’t fuck up the distribution if we really do get this much-needed supply. Having someone competent as president gives me hope though. Ohio is starting its version of 1C tomorrow with some specific groups like law enforcement, day care workers, pregnant women, etc. The feds have recommended media for 1C but our governor hasn’t announced us just yet. But maybe soon?

Thanks for putting me in my place 😅. You’re right, I’m very fortunate to know when I can expect mine and that my country has started vaccine rollout. It’s just frustrating when I see articles like what Alissa posted about how everyone in the US who wants a vaccine will be able to by the summer. Canada has like 1/9th the population of the US so why we couldn’t get our shit together faster is beyond me. But oh well, like you said at least I know when it’s coming!

Though the song isn't bad, I've felt no desire to go back and listen to it whereas the Network I couldn't get enough of those songs. I listened to them several times in one sitting. One listen of of HCTS and I'm good.

Same for me. It’s just sleight. I used to give Billie a pass on the repetitive choruses but it’s coming up on 10 years since we started getting them more and more. Kill The DJ at least was a parody/critique of early 2010’s dance pop. But for HCTS I can’t tell quite what this song is actually about. The production is better than on FOAM but that feels like a bit of an empty improvement when the writing is a step down. If Billie is doing coke, I’d honestly hope we’d get better work out of it. I kinda miss when Green Day wrote songs about stuff. EDIT: and the single artwork looks like ass. Dreaming looked pretty bland too. I find it really hard to believe Billie can’t find a nice visual artist to work with per era.

I'm still doubtful this will happen. It worries me that states are now lifting mask mandates and such. Its like please chill. Most people in the states aren't vaccinated. Why don't we wait a bit before start unmasking and lifting restrictions?

Well if you want to exact stats. % of the people who has been vaccinated in Canada against USA. USA: 16% Canada: 2.86%

Hard to believe, but thankfully our vaccine programme is going really well, has slowed a little just now due to supply and uptake rate is very high so hopefully we are seeing the beginning of the end! Still can’t see anybody doing a big tour this year.

I know we're all talking about how hot Fink is right now (and he absolutely is!), but I just came across this photo of Billie and my god! I had to stop and just take a moment because that is just too much sexy in one picture! 😍 The look, the hair, the outfit and everything else about this is absolute perfection. This is probably the most gorgeous picture of blonde Billie I've ever seen.

Still spinning this record and loving it. So much quality in here and unique sound from the band.

I just want something interesting musically and for the band to push themselves. I actually thought FOAM was pretty great and fresh. Whilst I like Revrad a lot, FOAM felt less forced. Stuff like FOA, Junkies On a High, Graffitia were great and very interesting. I want them to either fully embrace the Foxboro sound and go full garage or do the big cinematic, 21st century breakdown but Rawer sound. Stuff like Somewhere Now, Restless heart syndrome, Before The lobotomy etc. I don't want Dookie or AI again. I'm sick of the fan base keeping Green Day in a box and hating anything if it's not 3 powerchords and pUnK. I love the early albums but I'm kind of tired of that and want something maturer and for them to experiment a bit. Here comes the shock though, was pretty bad.

Meanwhile in Canada I'll be lucky if I can get a vaccine by September. 🙃
