Okay I just have to post this because I came across it and Billie looks like he is getting ready to go through some kind of anime style transformation into a more powerful form. 😂

Found the 21CB era pic that the slicked back hair reminded me of. I remember the first time I saw this pic, I thought he was eating a cookie. The rubbed off paint on the guitar looks kind of like a cookie, and his lips are pursed like he's eating. So this will always be the cookie pic to me.

The original version (a different recording to the IS one, without the intro) was a b-side of Waiting, so Warning era. But the IS one was re-recorded for IS, in 2001. Makes sense that it's going towards AI style I guess, since it was only a couple of years before they made AI. Btw if you haven't heard the original version it's worth checking out, it's very cool and much less polished/produced

Yes, Billie looks like a babushka (@Beerjeezus you took the words that I thought when I saw that right out of my head ) or like he's got one of those old timey toothache head wraps on in that Metallica cover picture. I love his singing and it's a fantastic cover, but I can't watch it because of the way he looks. I just listen to the audio. It's probably not as bad as that full beard Coverups show, though. The first picture in that lineup of bandana pics is just stunning! His eyes are particularly beautiful. I do remember that guitar cookie picture. It is extremely hard to unsee once you notice it. Reminds me of the cake carnation from the FOAM photoshoot! 😂

It's blurred though! John Roecker used to tease that scene on FB all the time lol. I guess it had to be censored in the final cut. I think Billie's hair was totally cute, it's not easy to style and slicking it back seems to be his go-to when he does it himself. It's that or a bandana.

My dream last night wasn't directly about GD, but there was a GD reference. Me and a group of famous people were getting attacked by sharks while we were trying to shoot a movie. All the production crew just fucked off and left us there so we had to try and figure out a way to get out of there ourselves. Somebody discovered that singing Basket Case loudly made the sharks go away 😂
