I mean that was the point, it's supposed to be a monstrosity, that's the joke. It's classic irreverent Green Day, cheekily defacing their own most respected album. Fans getting precious about the American Idiot cover while the band themselves don't give a shit is hilarious, I'm glad they have a sense of humour and refuse to take themselves too seriously. No way is it worse than covers that look just as bad but were genuinely trying to look aesthetically pleasing/classy/deep.

I’m on an iPhone. Seems more like a Facebook issue though. Facebook is full of glitches. I’ve also had past IG weirdness where I was getting the same like notification on an old photo from the same person randomly for weeks. Like I don’t think they liked the photo that many times. Bored of Fink already. I was checking his first post to see if he’s keeping track of when he removed them to make sure they don’t get deleted forever and I don’t remember seeing this caption, he must have seen us freaking out and added something to troll us: “#MongoFinkForever you see, @billiejoearmstrong his past has been DELETED forever.” The little shit 😢

I don't know if its already been said on here but I found out recently that Stab You in The Heart featured first on the musical "These Paper Bullets" that Billie wrote music for years ago. It's cool how he just plucked that song out of that production and put it on a Green Day record. He wrote it after all! Quite a few Longshot songs were originally on that musical too. It's definitely interesting to see how worlds within Green Day's world collide with one another. ☺️

I guess for me it's been a while since I heard anyone from the 90s era hate Green Day for the reasons they did. 😂 I was surprised. Green Day is praised in ALL my circles these days. I almost forgot how grunge rockers & metal fans hated them in the 90s & 2000s. For petty reasons ofc 😋

I found this interesting video of a DAD reacting to Green Day on Jimmy Kimmel Live (2019). I found it interesting to see someone who HATED Green Day - and HATED Dookie in the 90's - dig Father of All. To me the song has some pretty generic rock riffs, but to others it's probably more like their cup of tea. It isn't pop punk & that's probably the appeal to some observers.

I think IG notifications are always terrible, they always take hours to come through. It’s a pretty rubbish app really, difficult to share posts etc etc.

That fear of not seeing them gives me nightmares, I know how you feel. But I think that you can relax, you're on the same country and that increases your chances a lot, and Chicago is also a big city, they won't leave it behind. We have to stay positive! In my opinion, the RevRad tour was the best for everybody. Even for the band. ❤

Chin up, lassie. Maybe they've got some footage in store. But if they were to have recorded some footage, then that means that they're gonna give up the shtick and come clean. I doubt they'd put in the effort to stay in character while recording. Or maybe they'll get a wind of inspiration and start working on a documentary for us once the world is functioning again. (One where they remember that they're not Green Day).

Surprisingly certain artists seem to skip Chicago. Rob Zombie always goes to bum fuck Illinois instead. Smaller bands like Dead Sara and Prima Donna usually tour the East and West Coast and skip the midwest. Either way, tours make me anxious There's always something to worry about whether it's buying tickets or getting a good spot or whatever. Yet, I keep torturing myself by continuing to go to shows 🤔

Nobody is saying there's anything wrong with you for thinking sexually about the band, pretty sure most of us here do and there's nothing wrong with it. We have an advice forum where you can talk about or get advice on how you're feeling/any problems you have as much as you want, with specific threads for discussing sex and many other topics. This thread/the rest of the forum isn't for that purpose I'm afraid. Maybe it is a good idea to take a break from here (this thread for the forum in general) and get some perspective on it, it's up to you so do what's best. But this thread is just for some fun fangirling, you're taking it way too seriously and if you're not enjoying it it's not a good use of your time. I don't want to warn or suspend you because I know you mean no harm but if you refuse to stop with these posts here I'll have to. Feel free to PM me or use the advice forum. When you think about it, we got spoiled this year, huh? Those who don't like FOAM would disagree, but we got a new GD album, a new Network album, and a fun covers album. That's pretty awesome! I like NFM a lot. It's got this nice, laid back vibe to it. And what I like the most about it is Billie did it because he wanted to. Most cover albums feel half assed and lame because a band is doing it to give fans something between album releases. But Money Money Part 2 is definitely more fun!

Decided to listen to foam music video and oh yeah. Couldn’t even finish them. So generic, boring and it just sucks for me. The only ok song is graffitia for sure. No fun Monday is way better and more pleasant to ears
