  1. Me, last week: "This album's alright. Not great, not terrible." Me, a week later after jamming out to it multiple times and falling in love: "MAX HEADROOM, IN THE BEDROOM!"

  2. I mean that was the point, it's supposed to be a monstrosity, that's the joke. It's classic irreverent Green Day, cheekily defacing their own most respected album. Fans getting precious about the American Idiot cover while the band themselves don't give a shit is hilarious, I'm glad they have a sense of humour and refuse to take themselves too seriously. No way is it worse than covers that look just as bad but were genuinely trying to look aesthetically pleasing/classy/deep.

  3. I've scoured my pictures and found a couple more of Billie at the piano.

  4. Well, Fink has no face and Van Gough has no nose.

  5. I dunno we got some good Fink shots from videos. I know his face is covered but the suit and the hair is enough to tell me he's a babe.

  6. FOAM was shit but at least new album = new photos. The Network gave us some pics and GIFs but they're masked so it's not the same We need new pictures of the guys c'mon!!

  7. The Snoo asked him to turn it up because his favorite song came on. "Photograph" by Nickelback. And Snoo was the one that left it on. He's a complete burden to have around. The most annoying person ever. Aliens have learned not to abduct Snoo, as he has a habit of causing space accidents.

  8. Three weeks ago when Billie deleted all his posts I thought that Billie Fink would've posted more than just 9 posts.

  11. The way Bil-Fink says amyl nitrate is almost as good as the way he says La Jolla in Spike.

  12. Dont' think so. I read this somewhere: Its title refers to an incident where Jerry Falwell Jr. and his wife were exposed for inviting his pool boy to join them in a sexual relationship.

  14. Whoa whoa, hey now... Let's not insult the sheer talent, grace and beauty that is the gods among men we call The Network by insinuating they would have anything to do with low quality output like FOAM. Green Day wish they could claim such a thing!

  15. Friday morning and still not tired of this album! Not like foam after 2 day

  16. Haha “ and the lead singer, he hasn’t changed a bit in like what is it...” 😂😂😂 He likes FOA, fine, so do I, but why should we care whether he does or not?!

  19. I’m on an iPhone. Seems more like a Facebook issue though. Facebook is full of glitches. I’ve also had past IG weirdness where I was getting the same like notification on an old photo from the same person randomly for weeks. Like I don’t think they liked the photo that many times. Bored of Fink already. I was checking his first post to see if he’s keeping track of when he removed them to make sure they don’t get deleted forever and I don’t remember seeing this caption, he must have seen us freaking out and added something to troll us: “#MongoFinkForever you see, @billiejoearmstrong his past has been DELETED forever.” The little shit 😢

  20. They are too busy rocking out to The Best Album of 2020 to be bothered posting on some forum. Hot Take: Father of All > No Fun Mondays >We Told Ya So.

  23. He's saying "ay-mole nahtrait" (but then sometimes he says "nigh-trate"). I've never heard of nahtrait. Maybe it's nitrite's cousin. Maybe he's saying nitrite, but his accent makes it sound like nitrate. (Someone say "ay-mole nahtrait" out loud and tell me that it doesn't sound more Australian than Cockney).

  25. Billie Joe's backing vocals in Wedding Bell Blues fit the song so nicely, end up listening to them more than the actual lyrics.

  26. 😍 I've been resurrected! Those beautiful pictures of Billie brought me back! What a beautiful man! 🥰 Now I know not to trust Kevin. He looks all innocent in his nice sunglasses and tight haircut and being like Hi my name is Kevin, but you never know when he'll take off his shirt, throw on the eyeliner, and strike!! 😠 I'll be prepared next time.

  27. I don't know if its already been said on here but I found out recently that Stab You in The Heart featured first on the musical "These Paper Bullets" that Billie wrote music for years ago. It's cool how he just plucked that song out of that production and put it on a Green Day record. He wrote it after all! Quite a few Longshot songs were originally on that musical too. It's definitely interesting to see how worlds within Green Day's world collide with one another. ☺️

  28. I guess for me it's been a while since I heard anyone from the 90s era hate Green Day for the reasons they did. 😂 I was surprised. Green Day is praised in ALL my circles these days. I almost forgot how grunge rockers & metal fans hated them in the 90s & 2000s. For petty reasons ofc 😋

  29. I found this interesting video of a DAD reacting to Green Day on Jimmy Kimmel Live (2019). I found it interesting to see someone who HATED Green Day - and HATED Dookie in the 90's - dig Father of All. To me the song has some pretty generic rock riffs, but to others it's probably more like their cup of tea. It isn't pop punk & that's probably the appeal to some observers.

  30. Okay, here's another thing to be annoyed about. Amyl nitrATE! Amyl NitrITE is a popper. Amyl nitrATE is not. They are different chemicals. Bil- Fink should know better, as he's probably taken it.

  31. Maybe that is the magic of the song. Everyone hears what they want to. The real lyric is Arnold. Schwarzenegger. I'll be back. I'll be back. And it makes great televison watching the world end.

  32. That fear of not seeing them gives me nightmares, I know how you feel. But I think that you can relax, you're on the same country and that increases your chances a lot, and Chicago is also a big city, they won't leave it behind. We have to stay positive! In my opinion, the RevRad tour was the best for everybody. Even for the band. ❤

  33. I was hoping Billie would wish Tre a happy birthday from The Longshot account, and say something about how he has to use that account because there's something "wrong" with his other one.

  35. Don't be stealing my theory. The fictional characters from American came to life due to weird stuff Tre and Mike were doing in their garage during a lightning storm and while listening to American Idiot bsides like Governator. Yes, Money Money came out before American Idiot but Van Van Gough has a time machine, so it's fine. The Network came into being in the 80s, much like me. They traveled to 2003 and the rest is I will finish this post in the past.

  36. He probably did privately. I wish he’d go back to posting the things he used to. Adrienne too, I miss them both. They can turn comments off or limit them I wouldn’t care. I miss their posts.

  37. Do you think there are any phrases that Billie has used more in his lyrics than “I got a fever” and “we’re all gonna die”?

  39. Maybe it's his sidejob with tech developing for Cambridge Analytica and Facebook. For the first time I really took the time to listened to the lyrics. Holy shit this album is way better 😂
