I used Shazam for Threat Level Midnight, The Prophecy, and Tarantula and it gave me urls for sharing. I was able to change the numbers in the urls to find some more new Network song titles in the Shazam database. I have a minor theory around all this new stack of Network songs. Most of them comes from the Foam sessions, so the outtakes from the record will appear here. Art of the deal with the devil was mentioned on interviews from Foam, and Fentanyl fits the description that the band gave to the album of "an ode to the history of music" as much of Foam do. The lyric content of Flat Earth reminds me of "Songs for assholes", so they were planning this all along this time. So that "Junkies in a high" sounds so Network-ish is not a coincidence, is just a product of this creative process. And for last, that Warner promoted The Network, means that Green Day did renegotiated their contract with them, making some changes, and one of them is the anniversary reissue of Insomniac with extra worthy material, something they didn't do before. Anyway, keep dancing until pt II arrives

So 15 new songs in addition to the ones we already got? That's sick. FOAM was what, 10 tracks? Green Day really does put more effort into side projects. I think Asphyxia is a separate track from Fentanyl. Probably just switched up what they put on the EP.

When one thinks it cannot get any better, this happens 😂 Shazam is owned by Apple and is linked to the Apple Music catalogue. So they probably get the song fingerprints from there, and they get registered as soon as the song is uploaded in the system, even if the song is not out yet. It was 100% correct for the Tran Am EP, we got the titles from there first.

Shazam identified 15 not including the four from the EP So many songs and also so many videos. I wonder if they spent a whole day performing and shooting most of the tracks and then they’ve just been cutting them into all the music videos. And there’s still Threat Level Midnight to come and who knows how many more.

That sounds like it'd be fun to do. Take an already completed song, and make it into something new just by adding elements to it. Like that 80s version of BOBD that's on Youtube. Didn't they say they did something similar once when going into the studio and messing around? Like spin the wheel and you try a song in a specific genre?

Tracklists in reviews I think listed Asphyxia instead so we thought either the song was switched or the title was changed. This tracklist doesn’t contain any of the songs from the EP so is it possible none of them will be on the album? That would be cool to get so many more tracks! So if this is true it would be fifteen tracks plus a four song EP. Art of the Deal With the Devil tells us at least some of the rejected FOAM songs got reworked for this. I wonder how many of the extra seven made it here.

Yeah, Bulletproof Backpack for sure was a renamed song (Oh yeah)... and since that happened, when The Art Of The Deal With The Devil didin't appear on the tracklist, people thought it was another renamed song and assumed it was the previous name for Take The Money And Crawl... this part I never believed it was true

I had this dream last night. 😳 I was on a pirate ship that seemed to be docked because it didn’t appear to be at sea. I was standing near the steering wheel and suddenly the captain appeared and jumped down several levels from the upper deck. He looked really cool and badass. He had a bunch of leather belts at various angles around his torso and was wearing a long leather coat that came down to around his ankles and mid-calf leather boots. His captain’s hat was tipped down at such an angle that I couldn’t see his face because it was in shadow. He approached me and the wheel and it became apparent that either he was very tall or I was very small because he towered over me. I looked up at his face and it was Billie. He was friendly, of course, but I don’t remember what he said because I was entranced by how beautiful he was. I was also surprised because I guess this was the current GD era, but he looked just like AI Billie. He was wearing the hat, but I could tell that his hair was shorter, like BOBD video length. He was of course wearing lots of eyeliner and had stunning green eyes. The rest of the dream doesn’t matter because there was no more Billie or GD. So apparently Billie is a badass fucking pirate captain now! 😂 And most unrealistically, he was tall.

I want to see them unzip their skin suits like Kodos and Kang in The Simpsons to reveal horrible tentacled aliens.
