Fink posting in the middle of the night is proof that he's Billie. But Fink being a technology mastermind is proof that he isn't. Now what?9 points
-
Billy Joe Armstrong IG sucked, Fink is the greatest hacktivist ever for shutting it down. Long live F1NK726 points

Fink is out of control. He is a mastermind that will take over all technology and we'll all be doomed.5 points

My god Billie....that hat has to go It somehow looks too big and too small at the same time.4 points

Clearly it proves what we have here is Billie Fink, one of those human biological hybrids Mongo has been hard at work on4 points

I was mainly referring to the hair color, but I like all the responses. Here's a sweet one of Billie with a toy. Looks just like a knock-off walrus beanie baby I used to have.3 points

Was watching the Hitlist tv show earlier- where contestants have to name the artist and the song. They showed a picture of Tre and played American Idiot- the contestants got it right.2 points

I think it’s a double edged sword. No tour, even given there were mixed feelings about both the record and bands involved. However, without lockdown GD would have been largely touring whereas they have clearly been busy both doing covers and creating new stuff among themselves. I love the new EP and just love that they are having such fun with it all, to still be in that place and inspired at this point in their lives is amazing, I’m really thankful for it. ok, gin and tonic beginning to speak now, off to bed 😂😂2 points

Good time to be a fan — Trans Am EP today, NFM album next week, New Network LP the week after that. Still wish there could be live shows but this is some good output from our guys in an otherwise shitty year. Hard to believe it’s still the same year where we also got a Green Day album in February. Have we ever had such a single stacked year of record releases?2 points

When you're sitting in the dentist's chair and he's writing up today's appointment and says the date, 11.20.2020, out loud and all you want to do is ask if he's aware that The Network has new music out today. But don't because even though you went to HS together, you're pretty sure he has no idea who they are!2 points

Holy crap! I'll admit, I don't follow GD as much as I used to, and don't do any social media. When I went to my Spotify today and saw their was new material from The Network in my release radar, I freaked out! I loved Money Money 2020, and have been fortunate enough to see The Network play live twice... Their debut show at The Key Club (filmed and on DVD) as well as when they opened for GD at The Wiltern. Rushed here and am seeing you all have known about this new material for a bit now. So cool! Looking forward to hearing the rest of the songs on the album. Enjoy!!2 points

Green Day community foreshadowed this when it first changed to the Network community2 points

Mike’s looking good. I like the darker hair on him and the shorter sideburns. I don’t care for the sideburns or the beard they age him.1 point

Someone (or multiple people) in here has been looking for the link to the preorder/pre-add for the NFM release, I found it: https://greenday.lnk.to/NoFunMondays1 point

Once this is over it will all be back. They are archived for thirty days. He wouldn’t have done it this way if he couldn’t reverse it, though it sure was nerve wracking for a while there when we didn’t know what he was up to.1 point

Normally I would have disagreed with this but since August I agree his IG did suck and it needed a shake up. This was just the thing to get him playing with us again. Eh. We’re already doomed. Doomed is overrated.1 point

Billie literally went and said go fink youself to a van gough kinnie.... I've certainly seen a lot today1 point

Can we please acknowledge how good the basslines on this EP are? Mike should take some notes from The Network! This is the kind of bass I want on the next Green Day album!1 point

The standard Network font is called "Seven of One" and the "N" is P22 Constructivist Pro1 point

Okay but the real question here is are we going to have this Trans Am movie? Because the trailer was amazing and I would pay to see it in theater. Even the flat earther magazine said it was a great movie.1 point

Bahahaha this comment on GD's facebook profile pic (although he has "Nebraska University" wrong. It's actually "University of Nebraska" ... but that's the Nebraska born/raised in me being picky.1 point

There's a surprising amount of people on both ends of the spectrum. The ones who don't know they're behind The Network and ones who don't realize that people playing along know that they're Green Day. I swear I got so many comments like "lawl its green day."1 point

Another hilarious article about the release 😅 https://www.loudersound.com/news/the-network-whore-not-connected-to-green-day-at-all-honest-release-new-ep-trans-am “The news was revealed by Green Dayfrontman Billie Joe Armstrong, who released the band’s debut album, Money Money 2020, on his Adeline Records label back in 2003, but definitely has no connection whatsoever with the collective, and most certainly isn’t their frontman Fink.” LoL1 point

All gone prior to September 2017. Five years of sobriety not a thing left to show for it on IG at least 🥺1 point

I thought RevRad was fantastic, full of positivity etc etc, but you know, after all, no FOB is what does it for me1 point
-
Honestly RevRad is my favorite tour. And I went to AI, 21st, Trilogy. Front row. The energy was different. I know I would have had a lot of fun in Toronto for the Hella Mega but I do know too that it would not have been as good as RevRad.1 point

First of all they already announced it, with the Prophecy video, an upcoming album called Money Money 2020 Part II. Secondly, Shazam does not recognize the Prophecy and “Threat Level” as part of this EP, so they must come later as part of the album. Any Australian that can confirm this, so that none of those other two tracks are actually either the Prophecy or Threat level?1 point
-
So they don't believe in valentines, promises, solar eclipses or compromising but they believe in Flat Earth? There is another lyrical clue that Billie Joe is not in the Network. As stated in Church on Sunday, Billie believed in compromising.1 point

I really held back this time around. Haha. It's all good. One track list, and I did try and add discussion with it as to to not....ya know. Get clowned on. Or get a warning. Anywho. So.....The Network are back, woohoo! I'm excited to hear if they can successfully avoid a sophomore slump. and if so, HOW? It feels so pedestrian saying normal things on here Quick Green Day reference there. Hope nobody minds. Gosh I hope I don't wake up looking like Ron Swanson tomorrow morning! I mean, he does have some nice hair. It seems as if I have been singing this song completely wrong the whole time. Oh well. I'll just do like I did with "Oh Love" and sing it wrong all the time. Every time I need it. What's the time I say the time is right. I believe the album is coming soon.1 point

i mean this "clown" has been on the forum 11 years longer than you . hes just trying to engage in conversation in a thread that not mich is going on in.1 point

Just watching this and feeling really nostalgic for a great tour -- tight, professional, happy and healthy 💚 I wanna go back1 point

The hair is the classic “designer trying to do punk”, they should have let him do it himself 😂 . I agree re the boots though, they look really good. Anyone else notice the tiny bit of hip where Billie’s t-shirt has got caught up? Of course you did. Shame these aren’t in colour!1 point

Not generally a fan of animal print, but I think Billie pulls it off the best hands down (sorry, Kevin).1 point
