  3. Guy is annoying with the nonsensical posts. Why are you trying to pull rank like it's some big offense? It's a message board. His posts add nothing to the discussion whatsoever.

  4. I won’t be happy unless it’s a Triple album 😂 They can call it Eins, Zwei, Drei.

  7. Maybe we’ll get an EP first, and then the album, but the album has already been announced. On October 29. With the Prophecy release. I don’t understand if people just didn’t read the video description, or otherwise why there’s all this debate and doubt around the album title, and the fact that it’s an album They have been pretty clear for once 😄 “The release of “Money Money 2020 Part II" will serve as the final lesson! Within the binary codes of this album exist the keys to our past, present, and future DNA!” It’s just missing an official release date, that’s it.

  13. It's also possible that the album is being announced this Friday not necessarily released.

  15. Shazam is almost certainly wrong. Google Trans Am - EP and there's literally a band called Trans Am, who have a self-titled EP, that it's likely mistaking it for. Just chill people. The album will come sooner or later, stop grasping at straws for something to keep this thread going in the meantime.

  17. They could still release it this year and just have physical editions ready for next year. I've seen different bands do this for new EPs and such.

  20. So, it’s interesting that Shazam recognizes Ivankkka and the snippet from the car video (the song is called Trans Am) as part of the Trans Am EP, but not the Prophecy or the “Threat Level...” snippet. Since the Trans Am “date” video actually has “TRANSAM” written on top of the odometer, I think it’s safe to assume only the EP will drop on Friday, and that it will NOT include The prophecy and Threat level (or however this song is called). I don’t think Shazam is gonna be wrong, somehow they already have the song fingerprints and their labeling in their database, so that’s it. Either it includes only Ivankkka and this new Trans Am song, or these two plus something else we didn’t hear anything from so far. Very cool and well structured release strategy so far if this is the case, another point where Green Day should pay attention and take notes Edit: didn’t remember that Shazam is owned by Apple, so here’s the explanation. Apple already has the EP in their Music catalogue, waiting to be published. So that’s it, EP out on Friday, at least these two songs, I would say for sure not the other two we heard so far.

  22. I don't understand what he's meaning with these pics 😕 I'm not trying to find something hidden, but there is certainly something. Or perhaps he's just remembering stuff... with b/w photos.

  23. In the streaming age a lot of artists have started packaging all of the pre-release singles from an album into one EP before the album comes out instead of like four separate songs, I'd bet it's that, especially if one of the new songs is called Trans Am. I bet that drops Friday and they release the other singles with it to streaming for the first time too, and the album will follow

  24. Oh, is it? I guess you're right! Hard to tell sometimes. He wore that outfit a lot. Thought his hair looked a little different from the 21G music video. Well I know for sure this one is from 21BC. Look at that beautiful face and the sunset (sunrise?) behind him.

  25. The Story of Money Money 2020 (a basic outline) Joe Robot leaves home and begins his journey. In Transistors Gone Wild, Joe is traveling through the city, disillusioned with all the crap on television. I hate to mention them, but this really does echo Green Day’s “American Idiot”. It’s the same feelings. In Reto, Joe meets Reto. He gets a job working in the lab, but just doesn’t fit in there. Joe packs his bags and keeps on a traveling. In Supermodel Robots, Joe meets the girl of his dreams. Green Day really borrowed A LOT from this album to make American Idiot. Amanda is a wild thing and Joe just can’t get a handle on her. She’s crazy!!!!! Money Money 2020 – in the title track, Joe and Amanda don’t stay happy for long. A bloody gang war erupts in town, nearly wiping The City off the map. Spike: With Amanda seemingly dead and the entire town destroyed, Joe Robot has limited options. So he joins the gang that won the war. He’s one of them now, and they like drugs. And booze. He can’t face the fact that she is gone, so he tells every that she dumped him. Love and Money - Green Day stole this idea for Give me Novocaine. Joe is having some serious problems with drugs and he’s losing his mind. Things are very, very dark. Right Hand o Rama - In the throes of drugs and alcohol, Joe Robot makes a trip to the store. Kind of like the kid in the Jesus of Suburbia video. He gets his magazine and steals away into the night. In Roshambo, Joe sees a vision of Whatsname. He can’t tell if she’s alive or fantasy. She wants him to run away with her. She says she’s got a safe place for them to go. But he’s so high and strung out. With tears in her eyes, she tells him to stay. He’s where he belongs. In Hungry Hungry, things get even more bleak: Amanda is alive, but not well. She has no money money for food food , and is very hungry hungry. She’s working at the scummiest strip joint in all the world, and frequently passes out while working. She’s got it rough. In Spastic Society, Joe escapes the gang and begins his life anew. He’s need medication to survive, but he’s off the hard stuff and sees a little clearer now. The world is scary, but he’s prepared for it. He wonders how Whatshername has been. X-Ray Hamburger - This is the twist. Amanda is an alien in disguise. She was going to rescue Joe Robot from what was coming, but when she discovered his allegiance to the gang and drugs, the decision was made. Her people come down to Earth and use a laser that cooks all humans into hamburgers. Joe watches in horror as every single human is turned into a hamburger and beamed up into the spaceships. He sees Whatshername looking out of a window and looking down at him. He screams “it’s you!” over and over as she laughs. He wasn’t good enough for her. She replies through the window – “X-Ray Hamburger is You!!” All humans are taken onto the ships and eaten. All the humans are dead. In Teenagers from Mars, the song explains what kind of beings these burger lovers are. Within the mothership, a rowdy bunch of punk rock teenagers party and cause grief for the adult Martians. Spike is one o these heathens. In Hammer of the Gods – The Martians celebrate wiping out such a spastic society. Human ghosts are screaming in their stomachs. All is well. END. Transistors Gone Wild – American Idiot REto – Holiday Supermodel Robots – She’s a rebel Spike - Letterbomb Love and Money – Give me Novocaine. Right hand o Rama – St. Jimmy Roshambo - - Extraordinary Girl Spastic Society – Homecoming X-Ray hamburger – Whatshername

  26. Said this a few posts back. Shazam isn't always accurate. Didn't The Network also post an instagram video in reaction to that guy on YouTube saying it was going to be a mixtape or an EP? They cut in the "You're Wrong" in the clip.

  27. EP is fine with me. As much as I'd want a physical release, I would be okay (for now) not getting one. Less money that I don't have for me to spend. But anyway, whatever it is I'm excited! New music from The Network, which I could've never guessed. And I get to bask in the excitement with everyone else! I wasn't around when The Network first popped up.

  28. I'd love a full album, but I'd be fine with an ep. It's something new and something that we never expected even a month ago.

  32. If they announce a physical album or EP it probably won't be released until next year. A lot of vinyl manufactures are experience a shortage due to COVID and now most new albums have release dates in February or March.

  33. Yep, but when you go to the website it says Horny, could be just a typo somewhere, or a new cousin 😂

  34. Yep, since 2018 apparently. And it directly communicates with Apple Music. I think both ways, sharing the song database to match fingerprints and sending Shazam “search” data to Apple Music, they use this for the Apple Music for Artist functionality for example.

  37. FYI, if you missed out on getting the blue or yellow 7" vinyl, Oakland Coffee is releasing a pink version. It's currently exclusive to members of their coffee club, but they might make the extras available on their website if they have any. They didn't state an edition size, but they mentioned that it is limited. https://imgur.com/a/5MkGBuK

  42. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but The Network's page on Apple Music has finally gotten the love and attention it needed. It is now only lists Money Money 2020 and nothing else that happened to be credited to other artists/groups called "The Network."

  43. Viva Death and any other band popping up with suspicious songs are in cahoots with the Network. They are expanding on the idea that people think they are Green Day, but they want to be associated with bands they actually like. It's all real.
