When the movie studios were taking all the profits back in the early days of film, a bunch of actors got together and create United Artist studios to have more control. Maybe a musician owned streaming service is the way to go?

They went and recorded at least three songs, filmed the videos and put effort into the promotion. There’s way too much work that’s been put into this for this to just be Billie’s random idea that he never acted on.

Pretty obvious if you ask me. The album will released on 1st January 2020 (1/1/2020). The Network are time travellers, so the album will be released 11 months before our time 😌

Me too I’m sitting on a pit ticket I know I can’t use right now because of the rescheduled date but I’m waiting to see what happens. Actually Ticketmaster is holding so much of my money that I would prefer they cancel and refund me and I’ll start again for whatever tour Green Day do next.

I'm not a big fan of his blond seasons but in that photoshoot he looks great. Perhaps it's just the mega fluffiness, but I wouldn't change anything, he's perfect.

Searching for The Network guitar chords. I figured there wouldn't be any out there, but there is! I've played through Transistors Gone Wild, Money Money 2020 and Roshambo. Guess what else is readily available if I knew some more chords? The Ultimate Test. That's right folks. The good people over at ultimate guitar have it up as a The Network song, so it's confirmed. It's the Network.

And the thing is that it seems that they no longer write 4 minutes epic songs, so we just wait for something basic. I don't mean it in a bad way - I don't say that basic is bad- I just say that for me, the songs of the type they currently write will be more appreciated in the context of the album, and I would prefer to get the whole thing - not because it's hard to wait (which of course it is), but because i would enjoy it more in the context of the whole album listening.

Hey y'all, for whoever was wondering about that "The Countdown" teaser from The Church's channel, that is also Viva Death. I know we already established it isn't The Network, but I don't think anyone confirmed that particular teaser was Viva Death as well. I thought I'd check them out because I really liked Sound the Alarm and I recognized this part of the song. Starts around 1:40.

Can someone with the version of the AI single that features Shoplifter verify what it says, if anything, regarding that song (engineered by produced by etc)? Or just photograph the whole insert if possible.

Do you really think TUT is more “outside the box” than IIAN or any of the previews from The Network we’ve heard so far; TUT is a pretty unremarkable, bog-standard rock song to me and I’m personally glad none of the VD songs are The Network or Green Day. But then I think FOAM is actually a great album so what do I know.... I’m just pleased you can count on one GD project/side-project never sounding exactly like the last (ahem Foo Fighters), or at least always trying to go somewhere new. The Network has always been my favourite GD side-project so really looking forward to what’s coming next.

I’m only sad it means we still haven’t heard any of those outtakes from the FOAM sessions. Love The Network but I also want more Green Day of which we still haven’t had a lot this year.

When the covid will be over people will start to hug each other again. We're not gonna be from a distance for the rest of our live. Normal life will be back. 2022 is my guess.

I'm also curious how this will change the Green Day show as we know it? No more people up on stage to share the microphone, no pit (don't know how they'll untangle that - maybe temperature checks as people go in?), It'll definitely be quite different.

If Hella Mega can't happen next year (and I think with every passing day the dream that we can go back to normal next year, at least the first half, gets more and more unlikely), do you think they will postpone it again? Would that even be reasonable from a financial perspective? Or will Hella Mega go down in GD history as "The Tour That Never Happened"?
