The theory that Fink and Billie are the same person is ridiculous. Like Lady Gaga could be Billie as well π3 points

Well, the dream gods answered, but not in the way I wanted. Occasionally I will have dreams where there are what I call "false Billies". I had one last night. There was a person who was, in context, supposed to be Billie. He was performing for a large audience and things weren't quite right. This man was older, with thin, stringy, dark brown hair that was obviously dyed heavily, a wide brimmed hat, and badly applied eyeliner (reminiscent of Kieth Richards). I was terribly bothered by the fact that this was supposed to be "Billie". In the dream I went to GDC to look at a bunch of pictures of him throughout the years to reassure myself. After that, I was able to tell myself "Wait, this is a dream. This is not the real Billie. This is just another false Billie. He's not that old and even when he gets to be, he won't look anything like that." I hate dreams like this. I would just like a dream where I get to enjoy Billie for who he really is.3 points

Itβs the network. Nothing is orthodox about them. Theyβll announce & release when they want.2 points

Aha, my evil plot has succeeded! Soon everyone will be thinking about glorious asses! *laughs evilly, twisting my non-existent handlebar mustache at the ends.*2 points

You know I went a whole day without thinking about butts....and that's now been ruined. Thanks *Thinks about [REDACTED] butt*2 points

I said "damn, this guy's so fine" and my little sister gave me a weird look. Then she said "I know you're not talking about that old white guy with no lips. Come on now, honey, the man doesn't even have an ass". Joke's on you, sis, I wasn't. I was talking about a different white guy with slightly more lips and no ass. I've gotta stop liking men until they learn how to do some squats.2 points

I just watched a whole slew of Green Day playing Oh Yeah live, and I already hated that song, but now I'm ready to watch it burn in hell. In one of them I watched they weren't even playing together. That was the biggest thing. And Billie's singing was not it whatsoever. It wasn't terribly out of tune, but it was lazy. He seemed like he didn't even care that he wasn't doing well. And the thing that bothered me the most is that Mike's strings were slightly sharp. It wouldn't have been too bad if it wasn't the loudest thing. Whoever was the sound engineer needs to get their pay docked; they did horrible.2 points

Green Day + Jesse Malin. Back in 2009 they recorded the song βDepression Timesβ in NYC1 point

I was gonna say that. He looks great in the wardrobe and the poses are hot but no to the hair1 point

I think these are gonna be reissues, unless Aaron is back in the game, and that would be fucking epic. Either way looking forward to see where this goes!1 point

PHGP is probably my favorite side project of them! here is hope for new music, but i would also take a reissue etc :)1 point

Listening to Ivankkka on my morning commute. I love how Fink is trying out a different vocal style and hope he tries out some other styles on the record. On Ivankkka, he goes low.1 point

What indicates that it's Pinhead Gunpowder? Is that the image of one of their album covers (I'm not familiar with all of their album art )?1 point

I looked up the tabs for reto and was so happy to find them. It's such a fun riff1 point

Searching for The Network guitar chords. I figured there wouldn't be any out there, but there is! I've played through Transistors Gone Wild, Money Money 2020 and Roshambo. Guess what else is readily available if I knew some more chords? The Ultimate Test. That's right folks. The good people over at ultimate guitar have it up as a The Network song, so it's confirmed. It's the Network.1 point

My 2011 Adeline Blue vinyl copy has "Hungry Hungry" and my original 2003-4 cd has "Hungry Hungry Models" (this version is also before Teenagers/HOTG were added). Weirdest thing on this discogs listing (the first European one) "This release has been blocked from sale in the marketplace. It is not permitted to sell this item on Discogs."1 point

Everything. Literally everything about the song. There's not one part of it that I don't like. My second fav is Hammer of the Gods, so maybe I just like weird shit.1 point

I mentioned it 50 pages ago, but Green Day has already renewed their contract with Warner. It was evident when they released the Otis Mixes EP and No Fun Mondays singles & LP. It would have been cool to see Green Day on their own label, but realistically they need to stay with a major label like Warner for distribution.1 point

As someone on the curly hair committee we are very disappointed with Mr. Armstrong. We've written several appeals for him to let those gorgeous curls fly!1 point

I cannot believe we're comparing RevRad to the trilogy and FOAMF. That's like comparing the flavors in Neapolitan ice cream. RevRad is clearly the best out of those three. (I love that album. One on my top 7). The trilogy isn't that bad (but UNO and DOS are jokes). Frankly, it could be worse. Now FOAMF... actually, can we just forget that it's a Green Day album? I can't think of a single song on that album that I genuinely love. (Though I will admit, FOA and TTMAC aren't horrible, I don't love 'em).1 point
