Why is Billie trying so hard to look like Fink now? Like what's with the hair? He should know that he's never gonna be able to match the greatness that is The Network. Sheesh... I'd hate to say it but this desperation is kinda making him look like a poser.10 points

Friday the 13th feels like a good time for a bunch of dudes in masks to release music8 points

Well, we can finally confirm that Billie is not Fink. He gave us a selfie that clearly shows he does not have an exposed lower jawbone or red eyes. It's obvious that they aren't the same person. Billie's also not smart enough to biologically engineer human hybrids. Maybe a worm at best, but humans are beyond him.8 points

We can see Billie Joe is wearing the same haircut as Fink in his last instastory. fucking jealous.8 points

He’s rocking a “mom who’s sticking to her 80s style” hairdo. I want my account on here deleted.7 points

Sigh. No. No no no no no. Does the man want me to become a full time Kevin fangirl? @Squashie I'm handing the hair dye back to you. Clearly I fucked it up.6 points

"started the anti-ventriloquism league liberating hundreds of helpless dummies from their tormentors" So is this Fink's view when he took Billie's puppet from him?5 points

Kev's gotta be careful though, otherwise Billie'll steal his boa.4 points

I mean Foxboro Hot Tubs is a tongue in cheek 60's parody, they openly borrowed from famous songs from that era because that was the point. I think it has to be viewed in context, it was a way to let off steam during the highly pressured time of creating an American Idiot follow up, making some fun songs and playing fun characters on stage under an alias that allowed them to play tiny low key shows that wouldn't have been possible under the Green Day name. Never meant to compete with Green Day albums but still some very entertaining songs including some surprisingly meaningful lyrics. And I can't agree that they "fell off" after American Idiot. I like everything (including Uno Dos Tre and FOAM ) and I get that not everyone does but I don't know how 21st CB can be considered a major drop in quality from American Idiot? It built off AI and went even bigger, the most musically ambitious album they've made and very similar to AI in terms of lyrics (ie more complex/layered/metaphorical and less blunt/direct compared to most of their work - and I would say 21st CB's are even moreso than AI's if anything). It's a quality follow up.4 points

Nice to see his face again, but I saw someone on Instagram describe his hair as "a lion's mane" and now I can't un-see it when I look at the picture 😂😂4 points

What's not to love? The blonde kinky hair, the shadowy bedroom eyes, the scruffy beard shadow, the full confident lips (although slightly dehydrated) the dimples under the bottom lip,...only thing missing in my book is eyeliner! 😅4 points

Oh it would be so funny if he recreated that photo with the t shirt and the piano bench4 points

I just cannot stop laughing at this selfie. The indescribable hair. The angle. The unknown leopard fabric hanging on him. But somehow I like it.4 points

He does during their "off" times. And, while I don't like the beard, I find it comforting that he feels relaxed enough to let himself "go" and not have to feel "on" all the time. I believe that he's only performed a couple of times with the beard - once with the replacements back in 2014 or 15, once and with The Coverups last October - which he had shaved it by Thanksgiving. He's vain enough about his appearance with Green Day that I don't think we will have to worry about bearded billie performing a tour or public events with it.3 points

We probably won't see Billie with black hair until Fink decides to change hair color. For whatever reason, Billie seems obsessed with copying Fink, which is so unlike him.3 points

To me his face looks like an old man trying to take a picture (one who says phrases like "damn this new technology," "how do you work these damn computers", and "I'm still hip.") That, or it's the condescending look that your English teacher gives you after you put a comma in the wrong place.3 points

I call this the Dad TM Selfie Angle, but I like your positive spin on it. Combed and from a better angle and it’d be gorgeous.3 points

Scruffy Billie with bed-head hair is always cute. And I've said it before but Billie's hair never fails to amaze me . It's an endless source of intrigue and entertainment.3 points

Blink is the anti Green Day. Immature songwriting, awful live, and currently just having songs written for them. I’m sure Billie thinks it’s a pretty bad stain on the genre3 points

Why am I not shocked that Fin - I mean - Billie has a leopard mask... also here is a screenshot of his story. Analyze away. At least it looks like he’s combed some of it so the curls aren’t ratty. Im not sure about that dye job though...3 points

I still think they picked the bands they did for Hella Mega because of Crush. They're all on the same label, so it makes sense.3 points

The thing is that it's not the same post. Because I was drunk during the first post and sober for this one. But I'm moving on because now I'm a mature boy.2 points

I'm all for more musicians onstage, especially if they're as awesome as the guys in "The Big Three" (props to those who know the reference)! If you watch Bullet In A Bible, you'll see these guys aren't just great musicians but they're cool as hell. And Jason and Billie go way back—he's been playing with Green Dy consistently since The Warning tour (and appears in the When I Come Around video). Let's not forget, Green Day have had other musicians on stage in the past. Horn players during the Nimrod tour and several others during the first leg of the AI tour. All of this adds to the live experience.2 points
