  2. I still hope for a really deluxe anniversary version of the albuns, with outtakes and demos, and not just some live tracks that were already around, like this new insomniac release. If the band and the label really still want to profit over old shit, they should do it the right way

  3. A facebook post saying "Happy 20th to AI". Nothing else. Like there was nothing for Dookie but they're going crazy on Insomniac... I mean wtf 😂 Watch out for the 10th anniversary for the trilogy.

  4. I actually love that. Those big albums got enough attention, it's like he's being deliberately contrary when they make a bigger deal over the more overlooked albums. Albums like Insomniac, Warning and the Trilogy deserve a second and third look. I think it comes from their belief that all their albums are great. Gotta admire that confidence.

  5. I keep saying they should release a special boxset with Jaded In Chicago and the Aragon 2016 show. Package them as Jaded Nights in Chicago. (totally not being biased)

  6. I can maybe understand not wanting to do deluxe editions until later, but now would be the perfect time to release some live DVDs or something. They haven't done one since Awesome as Fuck. It's about time for a new one!

  7. Then they could at least profit off of what’s already circulating. DVD/Blu-Ray releases of Jaded in Chicago, Woodstock ‘94, Prague ‘96, and the 10 Spot would go a long way.

  8. They may not want to do those kind of deluxe editions yet as they feel they’re still an active band I’ve seen some bands say they won’t do those type until after they’re done as “they’re retirement editions they’re the edition you put together when you’re retired or dead”

  9. ^^ I don't know why, but that made me laugh out loud. Just rewatched the Montreal Longshot show. I miss my boys.

  11. I suppose we’ll get to see a lot of cool stuff later. They’re saving it for when they’re done with an active career I guess. That said, I think this void created by coronavirus would be a good opportunity to cash in on gig nostalgia. Who wouldn’t buy a live release now? They could’ve released the Prague gig in full.

  12. I hope we get a super ultra deluxe version the Trilogy. The Decalogy version - 10 discs with all kinds of faces on them, with bright swirls. So artistic. and then the tour. We still have to hear what See You Tonight, Baby Eyes, Nightlife and the Forgotten sound like live. Maybe they could JUST play those songs over and over, that would be cool. I'm not surprised Warning didn't get any recognition this year (this month, even!). oh well. I'm ready for Album 14. 2020 has been a decent year for music, but I want Green Day to take over in 2021 with no interruptions. If I have to film the darn thing myself, YES!

  13. Lol it is WTF. However, the Trilogy was exciting no matter what side of the fence people are on about those records. Way more exciting than Insomniac even though that record is great but it wasn’t a bigger deal than Dookie or AI. I seriously hope they make a big deal about the ten year anniversary of the Trilogy. Those records got dismissed and buried and never played on the Rev Rad tour but the Longshot shows had some of the songs on the set lists and proved how great a lot of those songs are and how much those songs mean to people. But seriously more of a big deal being made about Insomniac than Dookie is weird. Dookie changed everything.

  16. I think Billie looked fantastic in the Nuclear Family video, more like himself than in Kill The DJ for instance. Yes, he was thin but I loved him in that khaki shirt, thought it really suited him and I often talk about the curve of his back or shoulders. I really love how he is muscular but naturally so, not pumped, nicely defined. Totally with you.

  17. I forgot where I ordered the vinyl from, haha. All I know is it is not from the official site because oh my wow. So slow.

  18. That's how I felt for Nimrod three years ago. I really wish they had performed more songs for its 20 year anniversary on the RevRad tour. Would have loved to hear Redundant, Worry Rock, All the Time, and The Grouch. After Billie stopped playing Ordinary World, the first two there would have worked perfectly as an intro to Good Riddance rather than 21 Guns.

  21. It's time to start thinking about what could happen for the 20th anniversary or American Idiot. It will be here before you know it.

  23. I wish I could've seen a show in RevRad era. That would be a dream come true. It was such an amazing era for both music and performance. Ideally, in the show, they'd play all of Revolution Radio (minus Youngblood), a few FBHT songs, a few songs that everyone's tired of hearing, and to close they's play Macy's Day Parade. I'd sell some organs to see that.
