  1. How about some Billie eye appreciation. Not really featuring his eyes that much here, but it's very cute!

  4. Just had a dream that Billie got stabbed to death at a special Halloween gig. It felt so real that I genuinely had to Google him when I woke up to make sure he was still alive

  6. Ah man, those are the worst kinds of GD dreams. I've definitely had ones where he's died before and you wake up and it feels too real. I think I actually woke up crying from one like that once. Here's to hoping we get something fun from the boys for Halloween this year that doesn't involve stabbing.

They do the most moving and powerful performance of the song ever. It's so cool that global warming is actually reversed, becoming global coolness. Peace on Earth is achieved and the entire universe lives happily ever after. It’s such a weird encore, the crowd starts singing Good Riddance. Everybody waits around, but Green Day aren’t falling for it this time. They have taken the money and crawled away back to Panicland.

  8. Only two that I remember right now. In one, I was at a small show where they played all new songs (not sure what I was hearing, you guys know how dreams are). In another I found a new Green Day cd before it was announced in store. Of course I snatched it up in a hurry and ran away to listen to it. Remember GDA.... Dreamin' in free.

  9. Yep, am quite sure they will squeeze as much as possible from you.

  10. That was why I never bought the Longshot album. The first few songs came out first on iTunes as an EP, I bought it and then when the album came out it wanted me to buy the whole thing including those songs again. I passed and just streamed it instead. It really worked against them for sales not having a complete my album purchase option.

  11. Someone messaged me to thank me for my Bay Area landmarks tour posts so I went back to reread them myself and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Seeing the places that inspired Green Day's music really is one of the most memorable experiences I've had. It's also insane corona was actually on the loose in January and I was obliviously chilling in one of the biggest corona-holes and even attending a gig. I'm so grateful I had the chance to go. I can't wait to go back when this is all over.

  12. I’m wondering how this will work with iTunes, if you’ve already bought most of the single releases. Not going to pay again for them in an iTunes album format. With the pre-orders, you get the ‘complete my album’ and only pay the difference in cost. With this being done sort of back to front, as it were, we’ve probably almost paid a full album cost already!!! Will have to get the cd though at some point.

  13. When you get super duper excited for the new Pokémon DLC because you can finally transfer your 3 Giratinas named Billie Joe and a shiny one named St. Jimmy into your game. 😂 Giratina is my favorite Pokémon btw. It's the only one worthy of having the honor of being named after Billie imo.

  15. In "Sugar Youth," is the line I am the child of coyote and bandito possibly a reference to the "coyotes" who smuggle Mexican kids over the border?

  16. This is pretty long and I haven’t quite listened to it all but Larry starts talking GD about the 1.25 point, slightly after. It’s pretty much his normal story about seeing them for the first time but longer, with more detail.

  17. Adam must have fanboyed out when he found out he inspired and got a co-credit on a Green Day song 😂

  18. Considering that Kevin's been around for a while I think it's safe to say Billie's best boyfriend is going nowhere any time soon. Mike's just gonna have to deal 😋

  20. Gotcha. Yes, Whatsername also deals with love and loss, that's true. It's just not specifically about losing a father as WMUWSE is. It seemed like both were being talked about at the same time so that's why I was confused. 😅 I do love JOS, but I would drop it for Whatsername in a heartbeat! Give me Whatsername, Extraordinary Girl, and Letterbomb and I'll be a happy. I would also love to hear Give Me Novacaine again.

  21. I've never been the biggest fan of Ordinary World (the song), it used to be the only song on RevRad I skipped regularly. But it really grew on me recently, because isn't an ordinary world the one thing we all miss and are craving for most in those crazy times right now? It's like the pandemic gave this song a whole new meaning and dimension in my heart. "What would you wish if you saw a shooting star in an ordinary world?" Dammit, Billie😭
