I took the opportunity to send a short letter to the band and of course, I said Hi Kevin and that I hoped they came back to Chicago soon. I honestly thought I would just get a pick! The letter was a lovely surprise!

Kevin finally said hi back When I saw how many letters they got I was thinking they have 0 time to write any notes, unless it was something general and that was fine with me! The pick is freaking sweet on it's own. I wish other bands would do something like this. I would happily drag my ass to the post office to support USPS and get some free swag.

Thank you! I don't know if he actually remembered the interview I always assume people never remember interviews especially with smaller sites because they do so many all the time. And it makes sense! You talk to so many people all the time mostly answering the same questions they all start to run together. I'm always just happy when people want to take the time to chat with me. But I'm very happy he took the time to write back. I never expected it. I was like oh yeah it would be nice, but I was like nah. I think my heart nearly stopped when I saw the paper wasn't just to keep the pick safe. To think, when I first talked to Kevin I barely knew who he was. Now, I'm one of the Kevin stans Hopefully he never comes to this thread

I was wondering if anyone has seen any 1990 slapped out tour t-shirts on the internet or elsewhere? I went to see green day in Tampa Florida on 7/25/1990. I purchased one of the screen print shirts the band did that night for the show. I still have it 30 years later because it holds sentimental value to me. My girlfriend and I went to that show together and she is no longer with us today and the shirt reminds of her. I would like to put the shirt on my Instagram and tell it's story. I think it may be the only one left in existence but I don't want to claim that if it isn't true and some people may still have there's after 30 years.
