I'm reading an old Green Day interview from Spin magazine (1995) and I think you all will appreciate this description of Billie: "Befitting his funk, Armstrong's dressed all in black: black cashmere sweater, black Dickies - 'I've had these pants for four years,' he boasts - and a black on black pair of canvas Converse. His 5'7 frame, downsized further by a perpetual slouch, keeps him soft and approachable, cuddly even. " And here's a description of what Billie does when he's bored: "I watch as Armstrong gingerly pushes a puddle of drool over his bottom lip and toward the ground, only to slurp it back up into his mouth before the connection gets severed. He repeats the gross-out parlor trick again and again, solely for his own amusement." Pretty spot on if you ask me

Posture of a banana. Seriously, though, that description is perfect! He has disgusting habits that would turn me off if displayed by any other person, yet is also lovable and sweet.Apparently so much so that another man was noticing that.

The pic @greendaymario posted reminded me of a comment I made on that photoshoot where I said Billie looked like he did during the Nimrod era. I went to find the post, and I made it in September 2019. That was almost a year ago. WTF.

The Billie is a little strange mentally gets me every time 😂

It's this: I was with Billie and we were standing by a swimming pool. He had a package of Wheat Thins and started throwing them into the water. I asked him why he was doing that and I think he just said he didn't know. Later I explained to some people that Billie is a little strange mentally and that they should just be understanding.

I think his last back vocal was in Sex, Drugs and Violence lol

I was lucky enough to be gifted the holy Green Day candles from a fan on Tumblr: As you can see, Billie got banged up in shipping - he was pretty shattered - so I spent 4 1/2 hours gluing him back together. I gave up at the end because the bottom pieces were too small to put together. So I turned to my good friend duct tape to help me out. And I spruced it up with some St. Jimmy. Super super happy to have these since I couldn't afford the bundle at the time!
