  6. I haven't really expressed many thoughts on the album. Honestly, after months of listening, my only thought is "meh, it's OK." That. And... I freaking love Oh Yeah. I've finally accepted it. It's the only song I really seek out regularly to listen to... and I assume that's an unpopular opinion, but oh well.

  7. I don’t necessarily agree with these as being his most insightful lyrics, but I do like to see him getting recognition for his writing!

  9. Also Sara’s stories had a few pictures of Tre in his home studio. She said he had an idea and was working on something. Wonder what? 🤔

  11. That's okay, you can enjoy your deep dish while I sit over here in the corner with thin crust pizza. On an unrelated note, Billie is really cute when he drinks. He's so dainty about it.

  12. Billie Joe Armstrong thought fans would hate this classic Green Day song https://www.altpress.com/news/green-day-billie-joe-armstrong-good-riddance-fans/ In 1997, Green Day debuted their legendary album Nimrod. As a turning point for the band, the album remains one of the most popular amongst critics and fans. However, Billie Joe Armstrong has now revealed that he was nervous to release one particular song on that album. In a new interview, Armstrong says he thought fans would hate their iconic acoustic ballad “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life).” For many of us, “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)” has been played at countless graduations and special events in our lives. Today, it stands as one of Green Day’s most popular tracks. The song, however, was particularly challenging for Armstrong.

  14. Warning is their strongest album in terms of lyrics. It's a poetic, underrated masterpiece. Fight me, GDA! Of course, all their albums have some poetic depth. I can think of some from Insomniac, Nimrod off the top of my head, and of course American Idiot.

  15. I was so looking forward to seeing FOAM songs live. I should be getting ready to jetset to Chicago tomorrow for my Thursday show... *sigh... I'll be working instead.

  16. I hate to say it grew on me — because I feel like that's what a lot of people on here say to convince themselves they like an album when they really don't — but I really think this one did grow on me. I was never crazy hyped about it, but I just never stopped listening to it and really enjoy it whenever I play it. It's really fun! Would've loved to see it live, even if it was probably a terrible rendition.

  18. Could be true but I think it could still happen next year. And having a 2021 show to look forward to, even if it does change in the end, is better than nothing. I think we should be cautiously optimistic.

  19. Not to be too pessimistic, but a friend working in the large events logistic industry is telling me that many festivals and large events in Europe are already (yet still unofficially) preparing to postpone all activities to 2022/move to digital events. I really hope this will not actually happen, but my hopes of seeing the guys live in a relatively short amount of times are really fading away atm... this fucking vaccine better be working and come very soon (not that cancelled festivals are the main issue here of course)

  20. Idk if I'll be excited for songs that weren't good enough for their weakest album to date. Though who knows, maybe some of them are better than most of the tracks that made it on the album

  21. Yeah, there were those 7 unreleased songs, that were mentioned "which will come out at some time". Really want to hear them, but will Billie stand up to his words?

  22. I fricken can not wait until they get on stage and we can see what Billie's hair looks like. It's been a long few weeks and I miss him so much! Can't wait to see that beautiful little man.
