I've actually calculated before that Billie is 19.5 years and 12 days older than me. Still gorgeous, though. He can be whatever age he likes as long as he keeps looking this good. 🔥

Last week I watched AI and Dookie when they were performed from start to finish in 2004 and 2013 respectively, and I'd love Kerplunk, Insomniac and Nimrod to be played in full.

The NHL never cared before it's changed since the major push to try and capture more of the US sports market. In Canada we had Don Cherry on TV all the time and he got fired last year for a controversial comment. I spent years saying "how do they not fire him over this stuff?". Hockey was always a tough sport and we've had some crazy players come out in interviews over the years as well. As of late it seems players have been put in a course for handling the media and interviews and the game seems to have lost some of it's emotion. I miss Jeremy Roenick talking shit in interviews. I hated him as a Leafs fan at the time but I respected his emotion and drive for the game. Green Day would have represented the NHL better in the 1990's or early 2000's. No one at the time gave a fuck. Hell, one of my earliest memories from the TV in the 90's was watching Billy Idol flip off the camera telling the media to fuck off. I laughed and my parents didn't give a fuck about it.

I would especially love for Nimrod to be done. I was hoping we'd get more from it during RevRad since it was the 20 year anniversary. If concerts still aren't done next year, maybe we can have it for its 25 year in 2022.

Reading a recent ESPN article about the NHL's return to play and Steve Mayer, an NHL executive, made a pretty amusing and rather obvious veiled reference to Green Day's obscenities at the 2020 All Star Game: ESPN: The NHL said there will be a five-second delay on the broadcast to catch obscenities and other language. You've said in the past that there would be more "24/7," behind-the-scenes footage of players airing before and during games. How careful are you going to be about language in those segments? Mayer: When it's appointment viewing and it's an "all-access" show, we've had no issue with them being uncensored. But for our games -- especially given some of the times of these games this year, playing all day long -- it's really important that families watch and kids watch. We didn't want to have an issue. Now, of course, we're protecting our players. It's a joint decision between us and the NHLPA. It was everybody that made that decision, including the networks. I have one goal during quarantine and it’s going pretty well. I’m subliminally turning one of my friends into a Green Day fan. She now knows some songs and albums and know certain lyrics. I even got her to say that Billie is good looking! She doesn’t realize my goal yet and for that I am glad.

Depends on the beer I guess. A $5 pint is like a happy hour special, so I guess you could say this breaks down to $7 for the beer and $3 for the pizza slice.

Sounds about right in price actually. A combo meal at most fast food restaurants will cost you $10 (and probably more in the Bay or LA). I don't think I had a single drink UNDER $10 when I was in LA in November.

Since septemper I listen a lot to Green Day, more so than I have in many years. This is my third time since septemper and I can't get enough right now. Because of corona I can't say I have seen them live, and that such BIG TIME. I don't feel I know enough to write in the different topics and I want that so bad, because I really want to share my thoughs about the music mostly. I don't know them till fully but I know what I am feeling about what I hear. The songs, the albums (also if I dont't know the albums till fully)...

How Foamf is the trilogy done better... most of UNO and a few bunch of songs from DOS and TRÉ are just the classic Green Day punk sound from the 90's, with a 'bad' production and a 'really bad' choice for clean guitars

My parents were 9 years apart which is the age difference between me and Billie. And I'm three years older than Kevin, so I'm good on all counts.

Finally, I see some advantage in being older than Billie. Guilt free swooning 😀
