  1. So true! I feel like most of us would behave like complete goofs around Billie because of nerves. I'm sure Billie has seen his fair share of nervous fans, but I bet he'd think "Boy, these people are on a whole 'nother level of awkward." 😅

  2. Your hands would probably be shaking so much that you'd accidentally jab him in the eye and he'd be pissed at you.

  3. Add this to the list of the things that Joey destroyed in addition to Lydia’s mental health, SWMRS, his own loyal fanbase, Uncool Records, relations with other bands, Uncool Halloween.... And I’m afraid this will negatively affect Billie’s rep too particularly as he chooses to bail out and defend his son with all his resources (which he will). People who want to see real consequences will blame Billie for cushioning his kid.

  4. It was not the make-up artist. It's the dresser from the costume department who does this job. He dresses and undresses the people according to what it has been decided for the scenario. You just need a diploma in costume design for tv/movies/theaters production and get a permit to work on tv/movie sets. I have the diploma, but I'm missing the permit and I will not get it until the pandemic is over. Now I'm imagining myself working as Billie's personal dresser. 🤩 Oh! Well! It isn't going to happen, but a girl can dream.

  6. Reminded me of the making of BIUSA video where the make-up artist is putting a watch on him, tying his shoes etc, basically dressing Billie. I had two thoughts, no-one suggested that during careers advice, 😡 and could you imagine being so close to him and fumbling to do something so simple, he’d think you were a real idiot! 😂

  7. To me, parenthood is the hardest thing in the world and sometimes tough love is necessary but no matter what, they’ll always be your child. It’s not like any other relationship.

  8. Here's another one from the shoot. And I like this one too

  9. I understand these people and disagree it’s only about entertainment. Personally, I think it sucks that rich people get away with things others wouldn’t and even though I understand that Billie is going to defend his son like any parent would, it’s just not fair.

  10. Yeah it's like, trying to make it be about Billie/Green Day so it can be a thing that's part of your fandom and get entertainment from it. I also understand the curiosity but to be openly demanding it under the guise of it being something that's needed is kind of gross. I think people should step back and think about why they're asking for this.

  11. Honestly, fuck these pricks clamoring for a response from Billie. The only reason they demand a statement from him is because Billie is Joey’s celebrity father. In any other instance, the public wouldn’t give 2 shits. He could be dealing with it in private for all they know. I’m not against being curious about how Billie would respond to this, but these fuckers seem to want to find a reason to hate Billie too.

  12. Got tickets to see The Struts play live next month at my local drive-in theater. Sure would be cool if Green Day or The Longshot did a tour of drive-ins like this over the next few months.

  13. Same here! I think about all that stress and the headaches and worry I gave to my mom and I'm like...nah...that's okay. I'm already stressed enough

  15. Of course it is! I can't even imagine being in his place right now. It's a very complicated and difficult situation. I'm so glad that I decided long ago to never have kids!

  16. well, considering how GD handled the backlash from the 'Oh Yeah'/Gary Glitter connection by donating their royalties from it to whichever charity it was/is, i wouldn't be surprised if after a period of radio silence, billie pops back up w/ another NFM charity single. i don't look for him to make any direct statement regarding the situation though. i don't think NFMs are over yet. i DO think joey is a goddamn butthole.

  17. I don’t have kids but as I’ve said, I get it. I don’t and won’t hold it against him. It’s his kid that he loves. at the same time, I can’t not acknowledge that it’s a shitty situation for him as a parent.

  18. I just saw this picture on the Lookout's Facebook and look, it's Billie on the front row!

  19. I mean at the end of the day Joey is still his son... do you have kids? Before having my kid I would've been fuck him disown him etc but I have a kid and even if he did the worse shit possible I don’t think I would be able to cut him out of my life of course things would change but then some parents do abandon their kids even without them doing bad shit so I guess depends on the person

  20. I'd want to ask him so what's your skincare routine? Because your skin is gorgeous!

  21. Just had a picture of all the make-up artists at their Christmas party or something, discussing who was most beautiful in their working year 😂😂. Billie wins of course.

  22. I mean he's his parent so that's how it goes. But we don't know everything about his and Joey's relationship, what he was or wasn't aware of or what he'll do going forwards. At the end of the day this is on Joey.

  23. We don’t even know if that’s true or not. Things just went silent after Joey made his statement, and that doesn’t really say anything about Billie’s stance.

  24. Good lord to be that woman I'd be applying the eyeliner, my hands would be shaking, and I'd be muttering under my breath "god, you are beautiful."

  25. I don't see how that's relevant to the Billie part tbh. If Joey gets away with it/has less harsh consequences than a regular person would because he's rich then that sucks. And it's probably going to happen. But demanding to hear a statement from Billie has nothing to do with that. It's about the person who did something wrong, the only reason anyone wants to hear from his parent is because he's a famous parent whose band they're a fan of. And that isn't a good reason to demand it. Billie isn't getting away with anything, regular parents aren't blamed for or pressured to make public comments on their adult offspring's actions. Btw I'm not talking about people who are just wondering whether Billie will comment or think it could be helpful in some way etc. I'm talking about people harassing Joey's family members on social media and demanding that Billie needs to make a statement.

  26. No guarantees with Billie. I can be there to "supervise". We want to make sure someone is watching closely to make sure enough eyeliner is applied.

  27. Ooh! Or you know what- we need to get Kevin back in eyeliner too. Double mission!

  29. I'm in! Next time Billie's in Chicago, he won't know what hit him.

  30. We can double team him. One of us pins him down, the other applies.

  31. Box Billie. 🙂 I still have the eyeliner. And volunteer to put it on Billie.

  32. She sucks, Billie doesn't. End of story I'm just in it for Billie in eyeliner, which he should be wearing all the time. You know those people who put mustaches on random pictures and ads? That would be me. I'd just be hiding around a corner waiting for Billie to walk by and then BAM! Eyeliner applied

  33. Still can't get over how hard he went with that ad campaign. Raccoon Billie is best Billie! And the best part of this photo is knowing he was standing on a box

  34. This is one of my favorite photos of Billie. It's from opening night of the 99 Revolutions tour in Chicago. I love how triumphant he looks. He's just basking in all the love that maybe he wasn't expecting post-rehab.

  42. Okay, A) I read that as "Barbeque costumes" and was very confused for a moment and B) I believe it's been about 5 years since I've drawn Billie. #fakefan His dead, half offscreen arm does not count. I'll see what I can do. 2020 may be the year to bring back Billie Joe Sharkstrong.

  43. I had the weirdest dream with Green Day. First, a bunch of random stuff happened before Green Day even showed up...like Kevin Smith was in what I guess was my apartment and I greeted him like oh you're here again? You crazy dude! Then Green day shows up and there are these monsters or something that feed off food. Billie walks out of the bathroom with an apple (?) and Mike says "Where did you get that?!" And Billie says "Oh, from the bathroom" And then this tentacle monster spawns in the tub. Mike and I run to the kitchen and pick up these baseball bats, but we notice the fridge and freezer doors are open. We spend 5 minutes trying to close them before we notice that some GD magnets are in the way. Once we fix them, Mike says "yeah, we get a lot of complaints about these magnets." When we return the monster is gone and the guys are just talking about making music. Then I see Billie lifting up his leg and he puts his foot against mine and says "Hey, we can wear the same size shoes!" Then the dream ended O.o
