Billie's hair never ceases to amaze me

FOAM is number 9 on the top 10 most popular records of 2020 so far, on Discogs https://www.magneticmag.com/2020/07/tame-impala-tops-discogs-most-popular-releases-2020-so-far/ Well, it’s Discogs, so a niche that doesn’t represent the whole market at all, but it’s still nice to see them up there IMHO.

I recently started dog walking for a family who live a couple streets away. One of the dogs is a tiny, mischievous little fella with fluffy black hair - and his name just happens to be Billy 🤔 Also, whenever we get near the end of a walk, I start singing the "We're coming home again" part of Homecoming to the dogs 😂

Without seeing the rest of him I can’t tell but he was already pretty skinny during FOAM promotion. Maybe if we ask nicely we’ll get a full body shot 🙏🙂

I haven't fangirled over Billie in a while, but as soon as I saw his Instagram story I had to rush here instantly Look at that wild mane of hair! 😍 I've really started to appreciate guys with longer hair recently, so seeing Billie like this does things to me And I love the blonde bits too. He should keep it like this for a little while after GD comes back. I also adore the grey stubble He's just so damn pretty! ❤️

I think I'm vibing with Billie's current hairstyle because that's pretty much what my hair looks like If I'm not going out, it doesn't get brushed so it's a wild nest and now that it has some color in it it's kind of random. I really don't mind the bleached bits. I think they look good on him Like I said, let me ruffle up that hair!

Yay who needs Mondays anyway? I kind of like that it’s less predictable. I’m showing my age here but the version I knew as a teenager was the one by Kirsty MacColl and always loved it. A very English song and an interesting pick for our Billie. Now I wish he’d do Going Underground by The Jam if he’s gonna go full on Brit.

One does not simply listens to Green Day without good headphones or earphones. On max volume. FOAM is meant to be listened that way.

This is true! @BillieMyLove, don't give up. Keep working towards those goals and accomplishments. As more things come out from my work administration, I'm getting the feeling that I'll be working from my home for the next year. Am I happy about this? Hell no. But even though my "desk" situation is not ideal and i'm working on an old desktop instead of my new one, I'm still working towards my goals that I've set and accomplishing tasks that are on my radar. I have a feeling I'll be redoing my "office" space if I truly am remote for the next long while. I can't keep looking at this mess of work in my dinning room 24/7.

I was disheveled, but then I got my hairs did yesterday 😊. Feel like a whole new person. Fresh color and a new cut/style. The hair is a bit sassy today. Goes well with my current mood. Sassy.

Yeah, I think this is fairly non-excessive when it comes to mansions.

It’s so great to see his face again finally. I was waiting for this so long lol But yeah I’m not personally a fan of seeing those two colors together in his hair like right now. I would prefer his natural fluffy curls that we saw when quarantine first began a few months ago but still, he looks always really pretty to me just because it’s Billie lol

Two comments: This is definitely a headphones album. Boy did Graffitia become suddenly lyrically poignant given the state of things.

I still don’t understand how it’s possible that they haven’t done Going Underground or any other The Jam song as The Coverups or NFM.

Just got some new headphones, gotta rock this one on them! Been wanting to try out American Idiot.

It always makes me feel really weird when I see things like their houses. Yeah, I know they're loaded, but I never really think about them living in such extravagance. They're all usually so down to earth and when we actually get to see their wealth manifested in something like a house I just get an uncomfortable feeling. 😬 Idk maybe it's just me.

He definitely had much chubbier cheeks earlier this year, but the rest of him was skinny, so it’s hard to say what’s going on there I think he looks well though.

I'd say the black hair is the most identifiable for him (and is what I prefer), but he changes the length and between curly, spiky, and straight. I prefer it longer, but not whatever the hell he has going on now. I also think he looks a bit too skinny right now.

The hair! He definitely bleached only the grey spots. I think it's a bit of both.

My biggest problem with Jeff is that his vocals with the Longshot, in the show recordings I heard, we’re pretty awful. I’m not being flippant I just think the guy was not doing a good job, also I am always very concerned about judging people who are in the public eye at any level on the basis of what they appear to have done or not done, it’s too easy to get the wrong end of the stick or plain misinformation. Kevin seems like a great fit.

His hair is so on point!

One of the things that most got me about Jeff was at the start of the Longshot tour when he had a personal family emergency and the tour was postponed in the eleventh hour. Absolutely the right thing to do and of course not his fault but it was still a big thing for two weeks of shows to be rescheduled last minute instead of temporarily replacing him. It was a tremendous act of loyalty and compassion on Billie’s part and though many hundreds of fans were inconvenienced, they all posted messages of support for Jeff and the decision on social media. In short, a lot of people went out of their way for him. But then when it was all over, he never said a thing about it. Not a post of appreciation for the fans or a thank you to Longshot for postponing. It made him come off like an ungrateful jerk.

Jeff's probably at home going, god damn it, I thought they finally forgot about me. How the hell did I get brought up again?

No one even mentioned Jeff until you did. People have always liked Kevin ever since he was in FBHT and Prima Donna toured with Green Day a decade ago. He's a friendly and likeable guy, attractive, and as the frontman of a glam/rock n roll/punk band he has great stage presence, and nice onstage chemistry with Billie. Had the same experience when I met him at a Prima Donna show, such a lovely guy (same with the rest of the band too). And then a really fun performance. I'm really not bothered about Jeff playing with Green Day or not, Kevin is just awesome.

I mean aside from the obvious fact that Kevin is hot, he's such a sweet guy. I was lucky enough to speak with him and for whatever reason I didn't think he would be so friendly and upbeat. But he was so nice and lovely. And he spoke to my inner fangirl when he started gushing about Billie. His sweetness only adds to his hot factor for me.

I think Kevin really earned the fans’ love and devotion with The Longshot (yeah he was in FBHT but didn’t stand out as much then) His onstage chemistry with Billie elevated the band. Replacing Jeff in Green Day was a welcome move but definitely not the reason he is loved.

Kevin’s greatness stands because of his own merit. No need to compare him to anyone. Kevin is the awesome. So happy he’s in Green Day 💚 And Kevin + Lenny = Billie’s Paradise.

I'm sure they've just been sending each other files and doing it all remotely. Billie at least seems pretty serious about staying safe in all this. From what GD have shown us, the recording area of Otis is quite small and wouldn't be conducive to appropriate social distancing

As I got three 10s (which is amazing btw) from 1st year physics phd exams, Graffitia helped me to get through it. So FOAM era is still going to me, however more like listening to individual songs than the whole album (Graffitia being the strongest grower for sure!)
