As I was falling asleep last night I started thinking about AI on Broadway and that if I had a time machine it would definitely be on my list of things to go back to.
I'll never forget the first time I saw Billie scream and throw the glitter out his pocket as the stairs were pushed away or when after dying and being carried off the stage he'd blow a kiss back at the crowd. When @solongfromthestars won the lottery and we were front row seeing Billie's green eyes (like cats eyes) boring into the crowd before KYE.
Good times
I just remembered something else. One day I was unable to get a ticket and was walking away from the theatre when I met a guy selling one for $50. Turns out it was the best seat in the house!
I know I was the last one to post, but I can't not say this:
When a customer comes in and needs help fitting a harness for the new dog she just adopted and it looks exactly like a more petite version of Lenny and you get super excited (actually super sweet dog and very cute and well behaved. She was rescued from a dog hoarder's house).
Billie's version was just playing in the grocery store I was in. Made me so happy to hear a new song from him being played somewhere instead of the same couple songs as always.
I was about to say "all days are important", but then I realized how my words would effect the Mondays and thought better of it, because I'm a decent human being. You go Mondays, it seems like your were just here.
When I was shopping in my local supermarket this morning I was thrilled when mum recognised and pointed out FOAM vinyl on a stand in the music section! (I was concentrating on pushing the trolley so I wouldn't have seen it if she hadn't pointed it out)
^ I thought about writing "nah, I'm good", but then I went back and looked at it again... several times.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Billie would be AMAZING in drag.
I feel the same. My cousin's friend won the lottery too and we got front row. It was just an out of this world experience. I would love to relive that. But there are things I'd do differently now that I've already had that experience and learned from it.
Well our family wedding was just postponed to August 14 of next year now I’m worried that they’ll do the same thing with the Pittsburgh show moving it exactly one year and we’ll still have a conflict. I’m screwed.
