Show over wedding any day. How many times will you see Green Day in your life? Less than dumb weddings you'll go to!6 points

Go watch Infoman episode from December 7 2017 on Radio-Canada web site. With all this discussion about pizza, I'm only thinking about this picture:5 points

I just know the show I’m going to will be rescheduled for the same day as the wedding I’m reluctantly involved in that’s being postponed from next month to July 2021. They’ve yet to finalize the date and I’m going to be a wreck until all these details get ironed out — because honestly I would rather go to the show.4 points

It’s possible we may have more herd immunity than we realize — new research is suggesting it may have been spreading as early as August in China. Suspected cases are dating back to December in Europe and the U.S. I’m still convinced it was here this past winter well before we realized it. If there aren’t huge spikes in cases following smaller businesses reopening and the protests/riots in major cities this month, it’ll be hard to justify not reopening venues by next year.4 points

Damn! You beat me to it. I was thinking about this post as soon as I started reading the pineapple on pizza debate. I remember seeing that when he posted it and feeling sad because I love pineapple on pizza. Pesto on pizza is also delicious. I wouldn't dip pizza in ranch, though. That's gross. But I do dip sweet potato fries in ranch. Here's an obligatory Billie pic (and bonus Tré and Mike in the background).3 points

I just want to say I'm in love with the new dates and I'll be able to do even more shows What can go wrong this time?2 points
-
Yesterday, I started putting in work toward a new YouTube series all about music. and of course being the greatest musicians in all of space and time, Green Day will be featured heavily once I get going.2 points
-
And the longer we wait, the more we put small venues and other businesses in jeopardy. I really don't think we can afford to wait much longer.2 points

This came up in my feed yesterday and I have no idea why they're reporting it like it's a new interview.1 point

Green Day used to record demos onto an answering machine and post them on Greenday.com between 2001-2004. this was one of them. Wish I had more info on it too.1 point

3 years and I'm still waiting. Ps: i just learned that She was a song about a girl named Amanda. Nice fact!1 point

Pineapple belongs on pizza and I will ban anyone who says otherwise1 point

My two meager cents is his attention span is so short these days (FOAM), that manic Mondays has ran its course. Making anything longer than E.P. length would do him in, and poor lil Lenny would have to nurture his overexcerted poppa at his California bedside. Nah its BLM.1 point

I regret to inform you that Hawaiian pizza was invented in Canada1 point

I think he prefers "petite" which there's nothing wrong being petite! It adds to his cuteness.1 point

When GD (finally) return to the UK I hope to see more stories like this one about Billie eating Fish & Chips! https://www.hinckleytimes.net/news/local-news/pub-workers-stunned-rock-band-13282017 Oh and I'm thrilled that I can make the rescheduled Huddersfield gig, fingers crossed for GD gig #21 point

Oh god no. Corndogs are disgusting as it is. And on pizza?? Why ruin a good pizza? And just so we're still on track, have a sultry Billie Eyeliner is on point here!1 point

What kind of psychopath invented this pizza 😂 Hawaiian Pizza. I mean our Canadian pizza don't have maple syrup everywhere.1 point

He did also say he liked deep dish (and the sharting thing) although he might've been in Chicago at the time . If he prefers New York style/thin based pizza he has good taste.1 point
-
Billie likes deep dish Chicago pizza. But not before a show because he doesn't want to shart on stage. I was there . That shirt got so soaked with beer and sweat you could see his tattoos through it1 point

You realise if it wasn't for covid he'd be in the middle of a gruelling months long world tour right now? That he's still going to be doing that just a year later instead? And that he's been creating and performing music during the lockdown, until recent events have put releasing stuff on hold (and the lockdown is ending anyway)? That going all out promoting your new product while a global pandemic and protests are happening isn't a good look for rich celebrities? This refusal to recognise that there's unique things happening in the world that are affecting what the band does is bizarre.1 point

The band’s 13th studio effort debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Album Sales chart and placed at #4 on the Top 200. And that’s not all: the album also went to #1 in the UK and Australia and #2 in Japan and Germany. - kerrang plus 42000 pure album sales in a week. so youre right it was such a poorly selling album.1 point

Is it possible that the current state of COVID-19 is also a factor? I mean, at least in the U.S., most people aren’t locked up anymore. Coupled with the protests/riots, it’s kind of a natural place to end it. Regardless of your opinions on whether it’s a good or bad thing, people just don’t seem to be as concerned about quarantines or the virus anymore.1 point

I've only recently heard about Dick's, but I wanna try that too! I'm interested in trying all these burger places that are supposed to be amazing to see if they hold up. We finally got a Shake Shack where I am and it was a MAJOR disappointment.1 point

It's not about him "struggling with the pain done to others." It's giving "others" space to speak. If a celebrity posts a selfie, hundreds or thousands of people are going to discuss that. If a celebrity posts about a good cause or just shuts up because it should be obvious why they're not posting, people are going to discuss the cause, not their posts. That's the point. He doesn't need to be and shouldn't be praised for it, but I don't think anyone is actually praising him. They're explaining it because people don't understand. A musician's "job" is not to provide you with free and regular entertainment anyway. If you've paid for something then obviously you should get it, but that's where their obligation ends. I'm not sure if you're deliberately misunderstanding so I may be wasting my time, but whatever.1 point

I think you have Billie's job description wrong. He isn't an hourly or salaried worker. He's under no obligation to work, unless he's chosen to sign a contract that obligates him to. He doesn't need to explain his absence because a) whether he posts on social media or not is entirely up to him and not something that needs to be justified to anyone and b) everyone who isn't being deliberately obtuse is already perfectly well aware of the reason celebrities have stopped posting their stuff at the moment.1 point

I hate that "coughing cat." So creepy! I remember when it became a meme. Here are some pictures of Billie that remind me of cats. When your cat starts screaming at you to fill the food dish, even though it's not even half empty yet: When your cat is staring at you from behind a door while you're on the toilet: When you're on the computer and your cat decides you need to be done and pay attention to them instead: When your cat is begging so you let them sniff your food to show them it's not something they want and they make this face:1 point

I know this is coming from a place of privilege, but so many creators I enjoy online is not posting anything or cancelling events. This and covid = fun banned and it’s extremely saddening and depressing. but this moment in time is wayyy more important than me just complaining about fun things being stoped. I just wanted to vent this somewhere !1 point

Same, I think like that too cause every part of his body makes a great combination overall imo I love that Billie as cats IG thread1 point

Part of what makes baby animals and humans cute to us is their heads and eyes being large in comparison to their bodies. Same deal with Billie . With the eyeliner and big floofy hair he accentuates it and rocks the look.1 point
