He did an amazing job with Manic Monday and I Think We're Alone Now. It was also really cool to see him, Jakob and Joey perform the second one live on tv. Also i discovered another cool old punk band thanks to the Corpus Christi cover. This song intro sounds a lot like Chasing a Ghost, you can clearly see how BJ took ispiration from the Avengers.

Life During Wartime by Pinhead Gunpowder (a proper full recording) would be very appropriate.

Just because you've never seen it, doesn't mean they aren't there. It's a dumb generalization to make. Jokes about that or Billie being racist aren't cool and they're in poor taste, especially with what's happening.

I don’t think it’s fair to judge right now considering our country is in crisis. I’m sure he had one of those random power pop songs planned and at the last minute decided it would be inappropriate but didn’t have time to pull something else together. It’s possible he could release something later in the week (like he did with Amico) or just wait til next week considering he’s also focusing on a GMA performance on Friday so a lot on his plate right now. That plus the news here changes minute by minute so he has to be particularly aware that his timing isn’t seen as insensitive. He could be trying to find a way to tie in a song release with a plea for donations somewhere.

I imagine it varies by location. It's something I see pretty frequently, but I can see how it's not like that elsewhere. It just fired me up because these are generalizations that myself and other friends have dealt with and I just think it's stupid to assume something like that based on skin color. Personally, I still think it would be in poor taste even without the events. It's just dumb to assume what someone likes musically based on skin color.

Um...what? That's a bold generalization to make about the people who like his music. Even if it's a joke, you probably shouldn't say shit like that.

There is no way that Billie will put out a lighthearted song tomorrow. It would be ridiculous in current circumstances.

I get that the US has issues right now, so Optics Man would probably not approve of releasing new music. However, I find music the biggest support in these times, and music universally brings people together.

Haven’t a lot of major music labels said they are having a blackout on new music to show solidarity with #blacklivesmatter movement? I know it’s supposed to be tomorrow but maybe Billie feels releasing a new cover song at the moment would be the wrong thing to do.

i feel the band was pretty excited actually all three of them would talk during interviews not just stare at thr wall looking bored as fuck while billie just talked. I think they just werent that excited about hella mega. its like pop disaster tour they werent excited for that either. I feel its all a record company and management thing and they know and mike seems to have a look of shame about it

Yes, his baby face definitely helps. I think he always has that boyish look on his face with his wide eyes, chubby cheeks and full lips. So, it's definitely the main reason of my Billie obssesion lol
