Whenever someone says Billie looks small in a photo it reminds me of the time when he got a box to stand next to Will Ferrell 🤣7 points

There’s a picture with him standing in a line with Rob Cavallo where he looks like his child. Rob is really tall.2 points

Looking at my copy of Foreverly (I was wondering who the band was) and noticed that along with vocals and guitars, Billie plays pipe organ. Wonder if Green Day will ever utilize his pipe organing skills..... Pretty cool. Now to figure out who Dan Rieser, Tim Luntzel, Charlie Burnham and Jonny Lam are. Because they should definitely be in Green Day. Rieser has played with multiple bands, including Marcy's Playground and has played with Norah Jones. Luntzel - all these guys are session musicians. Bright Eyes looks to be his highlight. Burnham is apparently a well known violinist. Lam is a session musician, don't recognize any of the albums or artists.1 point

Ya know, the fact that 1) we got both Magnum Opus and FOAM and 2) that FOAM didnt suck means we got a win-win situation here, so don't feel bad1 point

Hopefully that works out. I see no other option than a vaccine, since currently in my country we’re at about 1% of population that has immunity so at this rate, we’ll be immune in 2060.1 point

My Chemical Romance had the european tour postponed on summer 2021. Also if there's no shows for two years how can the people working on that business (I'm not talking about bands or music company) survive?1 point

Vaccine is on course to be developed by the start of next year, human trials are underway. Its not a guarantee, but it does look likely.1 point

I’m listening to what I believe to be @That Dude‘s music and I absolutely love it. You should be on Hella Mega instead of FOB and I’d be happy1 point

At least no one called me a cunt for saying I think it’s going to suck in that one1 point

Thank you! I was thinking kind of a play on how things with long, thin bodies are often called noodles (i.e. snakes = "danger noodles"). Here's more punk noodle bois. The most noodly pics I could find atm.1 point

Honestly, I love seeing friends act like this, especially guys. It just shows what a tight bond they have and how much they care about each other. It's so freaking cute! (Though to be in the middle of that hug )1 point

Totally. It’s not a weakness. And it’s always endearing to see moments like these1 point

It’s backstage after opening night of the musical (it’s in the bonus features of the Broadway Idiot DVD). An interviewer is asking Billie what this moment means to him seeing his music portrayed on stage and he starts getting choked up talking about it and Mike steps right in with a hug and kiss and takes over. It’s lovely.1 point

I love this. His friend is getting all teary eyed and he steps right in to bail him out 😍1 point

I can understand Billie not being expected to cover all of his friends' businesses (1234, Ivy Room, etc), but it did look weird to me, his own business asking the public for money. I couldn't help but have the thought of, ummm, I think you can cover this one.1 point
-
We can’t judge because we don’t really know how he contributes to keeping the business afloat as a co-owner (he could be doing the lions share already for all we know) but that said I have to admit that my gut reaction to seeing a gofundme for one of his businesses was that it was not a good look asking for money and didn’t inspire me to want to help out knowing other small businesses that don’t have multi-millionaire co-owners really do need my help. Now no doubt he’s taken a hit financially this year too and has several businesses he co-owns so not saying he could or should do it all, it just could be why people aren’t rushing to help.1 point

I've seen a lot fans posting about "Mr. Money Bags" (their words not mine) not funding his "businesses" during this. But here's the thing, we don't know what his role is in the Golden Bull or any of the other ones. Maybe he's the one paying the rent/mortgage & taxes on the spaces, maybe not. Just because he has $$$ doesn't mean he should be footing the bill when there is no income. The employees are eligible for unemployment like any other person who has been laid off or furloughed in the US because of COVID-19. I understand that this it will not cover everyone's monthly expenses, but to rag on the guy because he "appears" to not be helping "his employees" is pretty rude. *steps off soap box1 point

I'm loving this term 😂😂 Also, the narrow shoulders were so noticeable back in the day before he got properly fitting jackets. Look at his wedding pics from 94. That jacket is swimming on him.1 point

For sure. He looked like a ferret. Just a long bodied punk noodle. I don't think it was an unhealthy look, though. I see toned, fit, and slender. Really the only time that he looked anywhere close to too thin to me was around the AI musical era. His face did look a little gaunt then, but not to the point where it was very concerning and he was still hot as fuck. I would say this is pretty much ideal to me:1 point

I hope this quarantine gets Billie famous. It’s too late for him to become the next Shirley Temple, but he can still have a solo career.1 point

To think RevRad is a work of art but that FOAM has absolutely zero redeeming qualities is nonsensical to me. Ik everyone has different opinions but the two albums aren't even that different. I definitely prefer RevRad and I like that album very much but if you like Green Day and you like RevRad, then you should at least like songs like Graffitia and Sugar Youth.1 point

Speaking subjectively: Absolute garbage! The worst songs on the trilogy are far better than this tripe. I've tried but no more torture for me! Everybody looks for the "Best" song(s) & understands that bands "Evolve" in their productions but this is just ridiculous & there's NO best song at all, they're all uninspiring & definitely not entertaining. Imagine an album with their balls of the past...Rev Radio is a work of art but to dive to this level next up is just disappointing. Couldn't possibly sell the band based on this performance...1 point

What I don’t understand is they have seven extra songs from FOAM and Billie said he’s written three more since September. He and Mike both keep talking about how they are free now and could release a single or an EP any time they want to. Mike said they could write a song in the morning and release it that night. All that sounds wonderful but then Billie says they will maybe release more music this summer or 2021? How does that sound anything like what they’re talking about? They just canceled part of their tour and are doing nothing. Tens of thousands of disappointed fans. Why not release music now? The songs are done what is stopping them? They talk about how great it is to have the freedom to do that but then they don’t do it, instead they say they’ll “maybe” release a song or something in 6-12 months?? That is nowhere near the same thing.1 point

Honestly, it makes the trilogy look like Mozart. It’s their St Anger for sure. Really abysmal stuff. And I still think Billie’s relapsed, sadly. Now he’s even retconning his 2013 Rolling Stone interview where he stated how ashamed he was about IHeart and now saying it was a proud moment. And stating shit like “what’s really sobriety anyways?” That and the erratic behavior he’s been demonstrating since the album was announced. Not good. When you can’t even beat the numbers of a mediocre Tom DeLonge-less Blink-182 with the likes of “Blame It On My Youth”, you’re in the shitter. It’s a shame man.1 point

i dont think they (or anyone associated) put that much thought into it.1 point
