The ACTUAL person that inspired American Idiot with Green Day, whoa!

It’s backstage after opening night of the musical (it’s in the bonus features of the Broadway Idiot DVD). An interviewer is asking Billie what this moment means to him seeing his music portrayed on stage and he starts getting choked up talking about it and Mike steps right in with a hug and kiss and takes over. It’s lovely.

I can’t see him behaving like that but he will no doubt have accountants saying you can’t do that if he is trying to foot all the bills. It would be nice if it was an opportunity though for businesses in the US to actually pay their waiting staff etc a proper wage rather than them being so reliant on tips which I understand is the case. Apologies if I have this wrong, it’s purely based on what some staff have told me in the US. I hope lots of businesses all over the world will start paying staff better now they realise how important they are!

I've seen a lot fans posting about "Mr. Money Bags" (their words not mine) not funding his "businesses" during this. But here's the thing, we don't know what his role is in the Golden Bull or any of the other ones. Maybe he's the one paying the rent/mortgage & taxes on the spaces, maybe not. Just because he has $$$ doesn't mean he should be footing the bill when there is no income. The employees are eligible for unemployment like any other person who has been laid off or furloughed in the US because of COVID-19. I understand that this it will not cover everyone's monthly expenses, but to rag on the guy because he "appears" to not be helping "his employees" is pretty rude. *steps off soap box

Heck, I was able to do that and I’m small. His shoulders are so narrow you can easily get your arm around them. That’s what gives him that “punk noodle” look 😄

He didn’t even think twice and directly said Jesus of Suburbia in the Kevin and Bean show last year. I think it could be the most special one for him like he describes really passionately its live experience between them and audience before so I think probably it’s always his favorite one to play live

I can understand Billie not being expected to cover all of his friends' businesses (1234, Ivy Room, etc), but it did look weird to me, his own business asking the public for money. I couldn't help but have the thought of, ummm, I think you can cover this one.

I'm loving this term 😂😂 Also, the narrow shoulders were so noticeable back in the day before he got properly fitting jackets. Look at his wedding pics from 94. That jacket is swimming on him.

Yet his arms look pretty muscular, just in proportion maybe? I notice when Mike hugs him, you can see he just envelops him, Billie about disappears ❤️

He was pretty damn skinny then (AI musical time as @Green Day In Seattle said) so yeah I’m guessing he could. He’s really even smaller than he looks in photos.

Oh, I wasn't really paying attention during the RevRad era. Good to hear they played those songs regularly! Yes, I'd love to hear GMN more too. On a side note, this is a really cool photoshoot that I've always liked a lot. Billie has such weird poses, though. It looks like he has a stomachache. Such a strange boy.

Here are some nice arm shots since his arms in that Brutal Love video were mentioned. A little bit of hip too. And socks. I really miss seeing his arms. And I super miss his eyeliner! I hope he decides to start wearing it again when they're finally able to start promoting and touring again. 😥

His eyes look super green too. And not the olivine green they typically are. They look darker almost like an emerald color in this lighting context. He looks almost exactly like he did in this livestream (and that was like 4 years ago!! 🤯).

@Beyza There have definitely been other boys I have liked before Billie, but ever since I discovered GD 11 years ago, nobody else can come close and I continually learn things about him that just make me love him even more. Even if I take a break from GD stuff and there are other celeb crushes I have, I always get drawn back to Billie. How can anyone resist this face??
