One of the best Green Day songs! It's such a huge part of the American Idiot story, with Whatshername calling him out on so many of his mistakes. First, the reveal that he's been thinking of himself at the Jesus of Suburbia AND St. Jimmy. And as if that's not enough, she admits that he made HER the Idiot America. There could be multiple idiots, but at that moment, she asserts herself as the titular character. It IS her hand on the album cover after all. It always bugs me when people say "Wake me Up When September Ends" doesn't fit into the narrative, it's about the real world death of Billie's dad. It definitely fits. Whatshername leaves town and him, and he's brokenhearted. It fits perfectly. Anyway WOW. Now I'm gonna have to listen to the whole album today.

I didn't watch this performance before, just saw some pics but I think he looks really hot in the whole video, his arms and overall look, he might be tipsy or drunk maybe don’t know but the performance is really powerful too imo, he looks passionate

When dad came running into my room because he was stuck on a GD question on a music picture quiz that he was playing on his laptop... and I gave him the correct answer! It was an old picture of them and he had to name the correct year, it was from 1995.

Me too. He has a little resume now I’m sad that both Corden and this soap opera news site only mentioned the Broadway musical as his acting credit. Ordinary World was a huge central role even as an independent film. They could’ve mentioned it considering it’s on Netflix now. And that’s not to mention the several other smaller things he’s done.

Nah, I don't think it would be weird. I just can't see it happening Paramore's lead singer Hayley Williams is working on solo work at the moment, however just like Green Day, their band has not broken up. Hayley has a band member from Paramore supporting her and even helping with the music.

@Beyza There have definitely been other boys I have liked before Billie, but ever since I discovered GD 11 years ago, nobody else can come close and I continually learn things about him that just make me love him even more. Even if I take a break from GD stuff and there are other celeb crushes I have, I always get drawn back to Billie. How can anyone resist this face??

Well, he is the first boy I have a crush on tbh So, it's a different feeling for me.
