To think RevRad is a work of art but that FOAM has absolutely zero redeeming qualities is nonsensical to me. Ik everyone has different opinions but the two albums aren't even that different. I definitely prefer RevRad and I like that album very much but if you like Green Day and you like RevRad, then you should at least like songs like Graffitia and Sugar Youth.

His eyes look super green too. And not the olivine green they typically are. They look darker almost like an emerald color in this lighting context. He looks almost exactly like he did in this livestream (and that was like 4 years ago!! 🤯).

Awww the Italian song is so nice. I don't understand a word, but I can totally picture myself sitting in my favourite Italian restaurant listening to this instead of Eros Ramazzotti 😃 I hope Billie does more songs in foreign languages, we won't have live concerts for a very long time, so he could start with the 30 most spoken languages and see how far he gets

I just love this new song, it’s so out of left field, I bet the Italian fans are going nuts over this, I think he must have really been learning Italian as he sounds so fluent and natural which is really hard to do in a language you don’t know. I think in Italy was probably because no one spoke English at the time (well... not that it changed much after 50 years ) and in general songs that were hit abroad were not known at all in Italy. Well... talking about this have you ever heard “Mino dove vai”, the Italian version of Basket case? 😂😂😂 A few Italian online newspapers are talking about it, it’s getting some attention as we are not really used to this, and it is so weird that he knows this song that most Italians completely ignore

When he’s free to write power pop everything sounds like Longshot and that’s not a bad thing. That’s really his signature sound.

It has to. His mood heavily influences his songwriting and he’s pretty content and inspired right now (also judging by the fact that he’s writing a ton — at least six songs in the first month of quarantine alone all while doing these covers too). He said he was depressed when he wrote much of FOAM and I think that shows too not only in the dark themes but the songs may be short and underwritten but they don’t feel effortless. I’m very excited to hear the new stuff. I love this! Fun fact. A cover of a cover. That’s pretty obscure. I wonder if this is going to get a bit of local Italian media attention and airplay. He could have a second hit on his hands with this one (in Italy at least).

Fun fact, the "original" song from Don Backy is actually also a "cover" of Keep away from other girls from Helen Shapiro (it was a common practice among Italian artists to make "Italian versions" of english songs, also heavily changing the lyrics and sometimes without paying copyright ).

I have an idea of cover-ception. I do a Lithuanian cover of Amico, the original song author does the cover of my cover, and Billie repeats the cycle. After 100 cover-ception cycles the song will be in Cthulhu language Great cover though!

I never liked the saying myself. I don't have a Monday-Friday job, so even after I learned it wasn't something about...whatever I thought it was about....I thought it was lame. And WHEN I thought it was a sexual thing, I wondered why people were only doing it on Wednesdays. Everybody knows Tuesday is the best day to do that. Translations, anyone? Who's the original artist? What is happening? Am I Okay?

Hump Day is for Wednesday because it’s the middle of the work week and you have to try to get over the hump to make it to the weekend (except that now days have no meaning) (And my favorite part of this too cute song is the “Ah-ooh” and the way he sings it 😍)

I’m not sure too but I think it would be noticed already if he had something for his face etc. but I’m guessing it could just be filter otherwise yeah that baby skin looks impossible to me tbh lol, seems like it is blurred so either filter or some skin blurring products could make that, I don’t know... I love when his wrinkles become more apparent though.

I think it’s so sweet he sings in Italian when you think how it will make big part of his fans extra happy and also I think this quarantine really made Billie more open to different things, I mean probably we wouldn’t get these kind of stuff from him this quickly at least in the near future but feel like right now he is really enjoying, feeling free and more unanxious in terms of his whole creativity.

Also instead of Billie’s typical “coming soon” that means literally anything between a day and 5 years, he delivered within a minute
