ITWAN went from 23 on Hot Rock to 11 (and is higher than Oh Yeah currently is on that chart) and went from 18 to 15 on Adult Pop.7 points

When I burst out laughing when my mum got an email from a UK homewares store telling her to "know your enemy" with household pests!5 points

“Billie’s looking so fine now... look at them chubby cheeks, they’re so pink” - my mom watching Global Citizen5 points

I was pondering the paradoxical nature of Billie last night. He is incredibly cute, but also extremely hot. Normally these two features don't coexist very well, but Billie is an anomaly. He's somehow super sexy and very adorable at the same time. I don't think I've noticed that about anyone else.5 points

I hope that's true. Can you imagine how epic it will be when we can all get together again and rock? Hopefully they don't cancel.5 points

It’s weird that FOAM could turn out to be the only album they never toured for4 points

He’s unattainable, so we don’t have to worry about his disgusting pee habits - that’s how he can be perfect4 points

Well, he is the first boy I have a crush on tbh So, it's a different feeling for me. I've never thought he would impress me like this though I think when I first gave it a chance to know him more, he became more and more irresistible in time lol Anyways I love these pictures of him, his face looks so fresh, very healthy looking I don't know I can look them for a long time lol I think in these photos he is also the mix of cute, dorky and really handsome, so all of them at the same time3 points

If I'm going to drink at a show, paying $4 for a bottle of water is pricey enough for me. I have no desire to pay $12+ for booze. I'd rather spend that money on band merch.3 points

Yeah, British people are always drunk at gigs. Less so in North America but there are still quite a few. I get having a few drinks but to me, gigs are too expensive to get blackout drunk. Recently I've also noticed more drunks being dicks too. If someone can't drink without punching random people I don't think they should be getting that drunk in a crowd, but that's just me.3 points

I never understand why people pay all that money to go see a band and can’t stay and watch, instead of constantly going back and fore to the bar. I wish they would close the bars once the band starts. Don’t know about other places but in the UK for a few years now the trend seems to be packs (and yes I mean packs) mainly of women get so pissed before the concert that they start ruining it for everyone and have to be removed, or don’t even get in! It’s kind of hilarious but kind of sad.3 points

@Green Day In Seattle I agree, he’s the boy you could take home to mum and the bad boy you would never take home to mum too. He’s many things I don’t usually like but in him I love (well maybe not the peeing everywhere and anywhere 😂😂). Is it because he’s unattainable?3 points
-
I think he is but purely because he isn’t crediting anyone else on YouTube and I’m sure he would, I can’t see him ignoring his boys if they were on there with him. Also, I think Joey especially was not in Oakland when lockdown started, don’t know about Jakob. It will be interesting to see what happens tonight on Corden though.3 points

Laughing at Kevin and David getting closeups and Jeff being cut out. Just a random bass player now.3 points

I got in touch with Frank and this is what is happening: DUDE STORM! The incredible super group formed by Frank and I. The power of Green Day combined with homemade production and outsider poetry for lyrics. Billie has yet to comment, but I think he's anxious to get in on this action. We may let him sing a verse or two. No more than that, Frank is a little huffy that his cousin Tre hasn't gotten to sing much on Green Day records. That Dude on guitars, vocals, keyboards and harmonica. Frank Storm on reporting, guitars, drums, bass and, synthesizers, baseball bat,Farfifsa, fiddle, banjo, oboe, raddles, baby ukulele and xylophone, production, raw meat, sunglasses and piano.2 points

I was about to say that my general rule for concerts is not to drink that much (1-2 pints of beer max.) and to cut out all alcohol for my absolute favourite bands/artists. Don't know why, but I've never felt the urge to get really buzzed at concerts (unlike at the club lol). I just usually "get into it" after a short while and am on a kind of natural high, especially if I love the artist in question. Maybe if the band really sucks, I might see myself grabbing some extra drinks. But even then, here in Switzerland it's usually not really worth wasting all that money, cuz drinks here are tremendously expensive...2 points

Finally listened to the cover. It may be my favorite one of the bunch! It's fantastic! Still hoping Billie will do a Cure cover. He probably won't but as an avid Cure fan, I can dream.2 points

Perfect description. But a lot of people are unattainable and it doesn’t make them attractive to me. I think for me he just happens to be my perfect preferred physical size, look and type and his personality makes him relatable and attractive too.2 points

I don't drink at Green Day shows because my entire focus is getting and staying as near the stage as possible, I wouldn't want to risk losing my place or needing a wee lol. But while I wouldn't want to be blackout drunk it can be fun to have a bit of a buzz going while watching a band.2 points

I’d take the film as a good compromise! (And skip to the GD part)2 points

And does anyone want to talk about the amazing guitar riffs at the end of this song? Sounds like something out of Insomniac era to me.2 points

Unfortunately a lot of people here don't want this tour to happen at all. *cough* *cough* @Beerjeezus2 points

Mike and Tre? Otherwise the songs Billie wrote at the end of 2017 would have gone into a 2018 Green Day album instead of The Longshot. My theory is he wanted to do more power pop and wary of the trilogy they did not. Just a theory of course but why else would the Longshot have happened and FOAM went off in an entirely different direction. That was a side project that came out of nowhere just when it seemed as though Green Day were full steam ahead. I think to the extent Green Day is still a democracy, Billie was overruled. And it was kind of a shame because power pop is clearly where his passion currently lies and he's great at it. He said in the new Alt Press that doing the Longshot was the most fun and inspired he'd felt in a while. Not Green Day. Longshot.2 points

I love Brendon and all the former members of the band. But you're right. He screams and hits high notes that don't even fit in with the song. It's difficult to sing to his live performances wondering if the next word is going to be in falsetto. He has a spectacular voice, he should use it more appropriately.2 points

I confess. I want a Billie Joe Armstrong solo record on Friday. followed by a new Longshot records the following Friday. Then a new Green Day record two weeks after that. Then a Foxboro Hot Tubs record 4 months after that. Gotta have some suspense. Omega 3000 3 months after that. This will give Billie a break from singing since he's......not in this band.....at all. Billie Joe and Norah's Next Album - tackling other old songs 2021. Then Rodeo Queen's debut album. Then a new Pinhead Gunpowder record. Then a year of silence to soak in all these. Then GREEN DAY 15.2 points

He seems to be doing songs that he hasn't played before. Im actually surprised that he hasn't done a Husker Du or Replacements song for as big a fan as he is.1 point
-
I think like he did with the Longshot band he’ll play with his boys on a song for Corden but he makes his own demos (and likewise these NFM songs) playing all the instruments and has done for a long time.1 point

Brendon Urie is...weird for me. He's said some things in the past that make me not like him as much. I like PATD's music, but recently I feel like all he does is scream and hit high notes and it just doesn't do it for me. He has a good voice, no doubt, but why does he need to scream all the time?1 point
