I still hate the fact that we never got any decent pro-shot live-footage from the RevRad era. Now that we're all on shutdown I re-watched Bullet in a Bible, Awesome as Fuck, their Reading 2013 performance, Rock am Ring 2013 and more and they're all excellent in their own ways. But the level of happiness, love, joy, passion and positive energy they showed on stage during RevRad remains unexcelled for me. It may not have been Billie's best era vocally, but it was definitely the most genuine, honest, cute, lovable and happy Green Day I have ever seen in my life and that's why it will probably always be my favourite era. I wish they would just release some footage of that time, for example their Hyde Park London performance 2017 which was filmed, but never released (some artists released stuff like that recently). One of the best days of my life. Damn I miss them and I'm so sad that we most likely won't get any live Green Day this year7 points

Maybe he secretly is very, very strict with everything he eats to maintain his girlish figure so when he does allow himself cake, he really goes for it. šš5 points

Billie is a fucking monster when it comes to cake! It's like cake did him a great personal wrong at one point and he's held a grudge his whole life.5 points

I think he looks also so huggable and feel like always giving the best hugs to even the fans cause he usually looks so genuine and happy I think these social distancing issues could be a struggle for him if he really likes getting close to people in his life. I donāt think random people could get so close to him anymore even after quarantine times end one day so itās sad right now but things would back to normal eventually, I hope5 points

And combining the past few subjects of Easter, smiles, and hugs (sorry, no cake)...4 points

So far most of Billie's covers have been annoying 80s songs and making them tolerable, so this would definitely fit the bill.4 points

They don't need an "excuse" though. If Billie just wanted to share fan covers, we wouldn't have any right to complain. That's actually a great thing to do in a time like this - not only is it keeping people motivated and occupied, but it's making everyone he reposts incredibly happy. It's a lot of work to find and repost them all too! I'm not personally interested in watching them all, but that doesn't make my preference (which would be more fabulous trilogy remixes) more valuable. Also, to be fair to Mike and Tre, very few people are genuinely interested in them outside of Green Day. Their management know that, which is why in a situation where the band can't get together, it's just Billie doing the promo.4 points

I keep saying they should release Jaded in Chicago Part 2 since they played the Aragon on the RevRad tour.3 points

Return To Sender was one of the three EPās released to SoundCloud its the one with the 5 covers I Am A Rock As Tears Go By and others and on the albums and EPās itās strictly Billie except for the drums on the song Happiness played by Joey for all intent Longshot is really just a Billie Joe solo album Kevin and others are just there for the live gigs3 points

Return To Sender, I donāt remember them doing that? Someone has put stuff under Youtube with that title but just because they ripped a playlist from the look of it. BJ is the only musician credited on the recordings other than Joey on one and did Kevin not say Billie had all the songs done before he got the rest of the guys on board?2 points

And you just reminded me that itās time to go watch Sunday Service with the Struts š¤š2 points

Okay fair, but Lenny on TV appearances and in music videos is even better š And before someone says āBuT MiKe aNd TrE hAvE KiDs!ā that hasnāt stopped Jimmy Fallon from doing his job, itās only made it even better.2 points

Billie has an excuse at least. I donāt mind that heās not posting much because I know heās hard at work writing new songs, finishing remixes, recording covers, shooting videos and TV specials. That stuff makes me happy. I would much rather he keep doing all that than make shit posts about Lenny or sharing fifty fan covers. But Mike and Tre have no excuse whatsoever.2 points

I agree and this one was from the same day. I think it could be only way to eat a birthday cake for Billie and also noticed heās wearing his Ramones shirt inside out lol2 points

I think everyone around Billie has to resist the urge to pick him up at various times. He seems very pick upable.2 points

Jesus of Suburbia has crossed 200k sales in the UK to become the band's 9th song to receive silver certification over there. https://www.bpi.co.uk/brit-certified/2 points

They didn't do the song called them, it was just the name of the collection of songs. Maybe they did cover it, but it wasn't released.1 point

I haven't listened to the album in about a month, so I put it on today and man, I still fucking love it. Sugar Youth, TTMAC, and MMOTR are just so fucking good! I still get blown away whenever they start!1 point

Usually, I tend to overlook revival covers as gimmicky or just for the meme value, but I love how this came about so organically. You can genuinely tell Billie is doing this to give people something to look forward each week while keeping himself busy, so this time his ADHD is very much appreciated (even if he left FOAM orphan š). And I'm especially excited that he's choosing all these 80's power pop hits with quarantine themes, I would love a studio version of "Dancing With Myself" with a Billy Idol appearance just to see Billie geek out about it. I've seen others mention The Cure and I'm totally on board, I'm thinking a song like "In-Between Days" would be really interesting and fitting, or Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" with a gritty twist. Though if I could chose any song, I would love a cover of Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy" or Siouxsie's "Kiss Them For Me" with a sultry delivery like his cover of Southern Girls, but a girl can only dream...1 point

Man Iād so love to hear Billie do a cover of this song but I imagine he has never heard it . Itās an 80ās post punk /new wave band from Dublin Ireland called the Blades . itās very much in the vein of covers he has done previously .. Tell me that you couldnāt hear Billie doing a great version of this .......that chorus is made for him !1 point

That's not how being a musician works. If you were to tell David Bowie that years ago his career would have been over by 1980 and we would have never gotten Blackstar which is probably the greatest 2010's record along with Clockwork Angels.1 point

He's right though, that won't make you an artist if you base your music on what people want.1 point
