Seems like he was feeling kinda down but it’s totally normal for these days imo and I think it’s really good if he takes self-isolation that seriously. They even recommend separate rooms now. It might sound extreme but we all need to aware of that situation to get through together. It’s just my opinion of course lol but Billie’s live stream really made my day, even hearing his talking voice always make me so happy 🖤6 points

Did you all see Billie’s IG love? (Sorry, no idea how to save them). He looks like he really has gone into self-isolation and I thought maybe he’s had to. If he has asthma then it would make sense and also, his insurers may have insisted as I guess Covid19 is not good for singers if they get the chest issues, and given there is a big tour coming at some point. It didn’t look like any of the rooms he normally shows us and he said was in a sort of bunker, poor soul, that would drive me crazy!5 points

The very beginning where he is wearing his glasses and then takes them off, waits a few seconds, puts them back on and goes, "There! Now I can see you!" 😂 What a lovable dork!4 points

I watched the Love is for Losers video yesterday I hadn’t seen it in the longest time. That was really enjoyable. Love The ‘Shot ❤️4 points

Thank you for saving it. I’m glad he did that, I missed it live but it was great to watch. My husband is a health care worker and we’ve been in separate rooms for two weeks now. Just seeing what he’s going through (but still okay) helps me to feel less alone and scared in this. It may not seem like much but his livestreams are more important than he realizes.4 points

I think I know what you mean. As someone with no artistic talent at all, I am floored by the simplicity of some of Billie’s lyrics in that they speak so clearly to so many people but also the complexity of them as they can be so open to interpretation and how he can get so much across in such a short space of time. If I was writing lyrics I don’t think they would make it much past “ooh baby” so when he writes a whole album where songs reference each other and themes are carried throughout I just can’t imagine how he does it. I put a lot of it down to natural talent but also practice plays a part but he does seem really prolific, I think he is always writing songs in his head at least, even if it’s subconsciously. His/their success is a mix (in no particular order) if good luck, hard work, determination and perseverance which I suppose are always the routes to success. Don’t even get me started that he plays so many instruments, though I know natural musicians tend to be able to play a number of things.4 points

Haushinka is such a great song. I love the harmonies in it. I also love Words I Might Have Ate because of the harmonies. I wish they would play these songs live again.3 points

I know. It's just so comforting to be able to hear to his voice and know he's doing okay. It really does help a lot with the loneliness. I'm planning on watching this more times. I could listen to his voice all day.3 points

I thought maybe that was Lenny 😂 It looked like his "bomb shelter" was a closet and he was sleeping on the floor. Dude, did you piss 80 off that much she shunned you to the floor instead of the couch?! 😂 (i kid, i kid)3 points

He probably fell asleep right after he ended the stream lol His sleepy voice and yawning were really cute though3 points

Regardless of whether having it gives you immunity or not (though I sure hope it does because I presume that is how vaccines work) Billie has asthma and would be at higher risk if he did get it so let's all hope he stays safe and not take any chances.2 points

I hadn't listened to FOAM in like a month, but for some reason last night I had this dream where Green Day just released a Deluxe version of FOAM with 10 more new songs, bringing it to 20 in total and they were mixed in between the current ones to make it flow well and it was called I shit you not, "Father of All Motherfuckers: The good version"🤣 It even had a much better cover, but unfortunately I can't remember what it looked like. This is following a dream I had a couple of moths ago where Green Day announced they were in the studio recording MOOTIK but with Paul McCartney producing it. Wut? If this is what I can dream about when I'm not on drugs, who's holding them? I gotta get me some of that shit so I can have normal dreams like everyone else.2 points

I'm not looking to start an argument, just add some info. I've been following the research about this virus pretty closely to understand it as well as I can because it's actually pretty fascinating. If this thing behaves like almost all other viruses that we know of, then it is very highly likely that it's not possible to be reinfected by it once someone has recovered. However, because this virus is so new and still needs heavy research, we can't know that for sure. So you are right. There is no proof, but there is a high likelihood that it does lead to immunity like other viruses. Thanks for bringing that up! It's fun to discuss it.1 point

I'm sorry to break it to you, but there's no proof you actually get immunity after recovering from this virus. And that's yet another element that adds up to the uncertainty of this whole thing, which you apparently fail to grasp. You say you wish Billie caught the virus. Why don't you tell him during his next live? I'm sure he'd be very happy to read that. There's people in their 30s dying from this shit. Maybe if HE told you to start being reasonable (if he'd want to be nice, that is), then maybe you would change your mind at last. Also, "Bye, haters"? Really? Are you kidding me? This is no fucking social media bullshit man. It's real. And please, I beg you: spare me your next essay about how you're enjoying being the minority and have decided to put your feelings before statistics. I've read it all in the other thread and there's no need to repeat it all over again. There's really no such thing as a minority dealing with a pandemic. We're all in this together and we all better start to act together if we want our sick little world back.1 point

Oh I didn't saw this post! Sorry I posted it in the other thread! Well I hope it's true!1 point

Awesome 👏 I love lyric videos and I love that song! So glad to hear Billie name it as one of his favorites on FOAM. Now if they’ll only play it live someday1 point

Any chance that's true? Sugar Youth the next lyrics video? Seem like fake to me because It's the same font as RevRad....1 point

I don't know that Lenny was there. He'd have probably been in the video if he was. Billie wouldn't pass up an opportunity to show him off. It was definitely his stomach.1 point

Yeah they were... I thought it was funny how he kept reading the questions like “okay next blah blah blah.... mumbles something random...” Definitely looked like he needed sleep haha1 point

I actually got all the CD's since American Idiot at Wal-Mart. And no clean versions. FOAM was 12.00 at Wal-Mart, and they were on the shelf on the release day.1 point

The 40 Best Deep Cuts of 2000 24. Green Day, "Misery" (Warning) Over the course of their first three major-label albums, Green Day recorded precisely zero songs that stretched over the four-minute mark. “Misery,” the five-minute centerpiece of fourth major LP Warning, typified the chances that the trio wanted to take on the project: with strings, an accordion, an oom-pah-pah rhythm and a collection of grim vignettes, the non-single clearly set the table for the ambitious songwriting on Green Day’s next proper album, 2004’s American Idiot. -- J. Lipshutz https://www.billboard.com/articles/news/list/9342363/2000-best-deep-cuts-album-tracks 10 FULL CONCERTS YOU CAN WATCH ON YOUTUBE TO GET THE LIVE EXPERIENCE Green Day at Woodstock 1994 Woodstock 1994 saw performances from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aphex Twin, Cypress Hill and more, but none of them would amount to the same level of absurdity as Green Day’s mud-ridden set. At the time, Dookie had been out for nearly half a year, and the trio were rapidly rising in popularity, headlining tours across the globe with few days off. When they finally graced the stage, Billie Joe Armstrong greeted the crowd most appropriately: “What is this fucking free hippy love shit? How you doin’ all you rich motherfuckers!” However, as Green Day ripped through song after song, fans began to hurl mud balls at them, and the band gladly took part in throwing them back. Things escalated so quickly that at one point, a security guard confused Mike Dirnt for one of the rampant fans who were leaping onstage and knocked his teeth out. Considering Green Day’s Hella Mega tour Asia dates are postponed in the meantime, this unforgettable moment in the band’s history feels worth commemorating with a rewatch or two. https://www.altpress.com/features/full-concert-videos-on-youtube1 point
