I‘m lying in bed and can’t sleep because the whole Corona chaos keeps me awake and then I saw this and I’m saved. This is probably the cutest thing I have ever seen 😍10 points

I love that man. He edited it by the way. The first one said this: “Maybe if you played to more than three people you would cancel you washed up piece of shit. Your band has always sucked. Go fuck yourself! I wouldn’t trade my future with you you little bitch” And now he deleted it altogether9 points

People are freaking out about the covid 19 virus. They are buying toilet paper like crazy and stores are running out of it. And all I can think of is this:6 points

I love Billie more than I can describe in words, but I have to say - the first thing I noticed about that post was that he used "to" when he should have used "too". But he never learned to read or write so well, so I'll let it pass.5 points

Wow classic Billie. Guess this is what happens when you can't tour and you're stuck in the house browsing through social media4 points

Whenever you see a copy of any Green Day album out in the wild and you're compelled to pick it up and hold it awhile even though you already own it4 points

Or you hear a song on the radio - when Im driving I turn it up even though my GD CD collection is kept in the car. That's awesome.3 points

When a GD mention/reference crops up somewhere totally random and unexpected, and you react as if you've just won the bloody lottery. Like seriously, earlier today I randomly decided to google an old girlband that I used to listen to when I was like 13, and I found a bunch of photos where one of them was wearing a Dookie t-shirt, and I genuinely squealed out loud and then started dancing.3 points

Yoo Bill! Hope you’re well. I own the neck to that guitar. I’m using a Fender Mexican 50’s Classic Series body, Duncan Antiquity single coils, JB. Neck still had the Sperzel’s on it when I acquired it. Also had some blue paint on the headstock. This thing must’ve been smashed up good before it was discarded. Alex Fernez at Fender built the neck. The only imperfection from him was that pesky Fender logo. Thank goodness you guys sanded that off... p.s. I think what I have follows the Fernandes dimension, which the only difference is a wider nut width. So in essence, I made a Frankenstein of a Frankenstein of a copy of a lawsuit copy of a Fender Strat. - Lee Taylor2 points

I think this one should be here too. I love Billie’s shirt that has lips on it and couldn’t help but wonder about behind the scenes of those photoshoots. It should be an interesting experience lol In this one for example all three are on the bed while Billie spitting a beer and Tre is basically flying lol They look natural though and the photos are aesthetically pleasing. Can’t wait to see all the other ones!2 points

FOAM is now officially in my Top 5 of Green Day albums 😍2 points

Reviewing for Rolling Stone, critic Jon Dolan gave the album 4 out of 5 stars, calling it one of Green Day's most fun albums, and writing, "Father of All... is a bountiful act of recovered rock memory, an effortlessly affirming argument that the first mosh pit or car radio contact high you get when you’re 13 years old can be enough to sustain you long into life. And when all of those happening, someone comes up and tries to mess with your band lol So, he is absolutely right imo2 points

I thought he was very good in OW. Very natural. And the critics thought so too. For all the reviews of the film I read, they nearly all said that the film was just average but that Billie was good in it and should continue to pursue acting. So that was high praise. Not one critic gave him a bad performance review, it was the script and plotting that was criticized.2 points

Besides Angry Birds, I just meant that Warner licensed those songs like crazy to movies and TV to make some money off them. When a record is a big selling hit you don’t need to do that.1 point

Billie will never win an Oscar for his acting. He doesn't have enough acting skills for that. But he got better at acting role after role. Sincerely, I thought he would have done bad with OW, but I was pleasantly surprised. I think if he was coached, he would be amazing.1 point

Somewhat involves Green Day as they have a song on one of the releases (i think?)1 point

Agreed, I think it’s because he’s charming at the same time, gives you that big beaming smile and then does something outrageous 😂😂1 point

@Liam I'm not sure if you added this or not, but after Lollapalooza '94, the white humbucker was taken out of Blue and the Bill Lawrence pickup was reinstalled sometime in the fall of 1994. The only difference between his original BL and this one is it's all black, without the chrome shield: If you want a sound sample, it was featured in Jaded In Chicago and Madison Square Garden '94. Not many people know that he used it again briefly before the JB was installed in 1995.1 point
