  2. I'll give Lenny # 2 to this. Of course, we could just combine the two best things of the era.

  4. Let's celebrate his blondness and fluffiness! Yes, it's black here, but his floof is off the charts so I had to include it.

  6. I love it! I made a B/K calendar, and this is actually one of the pics for March! Along with other stills from the same video of Billie staring at Kevin's lips.

  9. Missing the boys so much . Got my fingers crossed that the Hella Mega tour happens, after a crappy 2019 I hoped seeing GD this year would make this year a happier one than last year.

  11. I’ve watched this at least three times lol cause it is so adorable to see they’re being weird and hanging together like bunch of teenagers. I wasn't into them at that time but it seemed like a really good era for them and also fans cause they seemed really genuine and even like friendly with the fans in some way especially through those live streams. Those two he went live from the backstage are my favorites too:

  12. Even though it's so obvious that the lyrics to Stab are "pictures don't lie" I always get this image in my head of Shakira and I hear "hips dont lie" instead. Hips don't lie when you're front page news... And I don't even listen to Shakira lmao

  13. I always hated the Rising part and only used it because for some reason (I can't remember) I couldn't just use RedWolf without adding something else to it.

  19. Yeah, Mike’s really got some moves lol and Billie’s laugh is precious but I’ve realized now he was dancing like same in the 1991 tour video and Billie was recording him like that 26 years ago, crazy!

  20. Yeah for sure - another one that comes to mind is hold em under water till the MF drowns....

  22. Yeah Father and Oh Yeah have been the only singles so far. FRA was definitely only a promotional release. At this point so is MMOTR unless that changes later. But it would be unusual to release a video for a song and then put it out as a single later. I would say single three (if they even release one) will be something else from the album. Personally I think MMOTR would be the best choice from what's left. It's catchy and would play well on radio.

  24. And that's how it should be. When you zoom in (for research), most of the "hairs" are actually sweat trails. Thank you @solongfromthestars for this gift!

  29. I think the truth is really that the album art conveys that they are not taking themselves too seriously and that’s an important distinction. This is not a troll on the public. Billie said that the defacing of the AI cover and the joke of the AI part two title was a way of taking the piss out of their own legacy and laughing at themselves. I don’t think the joke goes any further than that. He’s talked about times he has taken the pressure of Green Day far too seriously in the past and this is a way of alleviating that and just trying to enjoy themselves more. At their best they have always had a twisted sense of humor.

  30. I don't know if the line is so obvious to draw between the two . Sometimes drinking allows you to do what you want to do anyways but wouldn't be able to do without it. But I'm sure Billie has been doing shenanigans while being sober, it kinda shows on his face during RevRad and also Lonsghot eras I don't find him sexy when he's drunk (even though I defend his freedom to get drunk!). If RevRad era hadn't existed I wouldn't have found him that sexy from the previous eras only. But Longshot era was a worthy RevRad successor in that regard (he looked very sexy and not drunk) and I hope it continues He is really polite, and always answers the way he wants but without avoiding the question. Maybe being done is part if his sexy rockstar look, and also part of his normal mood while being questioned and wanting to reply in a real although laid-back way, like he often does. Perhaps both at the same time? On fangirling mode I really love that photo (from September 2017)

  31. I get that 100% I enjoy the album as well the stronger songs are a lot of fun but objectively the album deserves exactly a 68-72 out of 100.

  33. Spend some days away from the album and now I'm blasting it again. I spun Mike Shinoda's album, the new Eminem and some Foo Fighters. But I got the Green Day shakes and needed a fix.

  34. I'm listening to RevRad for the first time since FOAM came out. I'm on the 2nd song and I already feel like crying like I did when I first heard it. Damn it is so good.

  37. Now that my vinyl finally arrived I spent some time looking at the details of the back cover and it just occured to me how hilarious it actually is, especially in combination with the front. The whole thing is a self-parody, they are playing with every single prejudice and critisism people have against the band: That they are arrogant, rich and ageing rockstars living in their ivory tower drinking expensive champagne and king prawns, desperately trying to stay relevant by playing the cool and wild guys, but they look absolutely ridiculous at it because they have lost every connection to the "real world". Putting a giant unicorn (it really is a giant on that vinyl cover, holy shit) on what seems to be a children's painting of their most iconic album cover is the cherry on the cake. Fight me on it, but I still think that this is a fuck you-record, only in a different way than we initially thought.
