I would love to see a music video for Graffitia. A proper one, like Oh Yeah or even Roof, with some sort of storyline or other goodies, not just a performance video.6 points

I've been wearing my GD studded belt everywhere and last week some random kid in a store came up to me and was like "what's green day?" I was a little surprised that the kid came up to me, hahaha, but I said, "Oh, kid, you have no idea. They're the best band in the world." The kid said they had never heard any GD songs. Skeptically, even though I hate invoking BOBD (I love the song but I'm so tired of people claiming to be GD fans when only knowing that one) I asked "not even boulevard or broken dreams?" The kid hadn't ever heard of them, and was so confused I really hope the kid looked up GD later.2 points

I think this pic was shared before actually but that one looks like more close up and wanted to share cause his face structure looks very distinct and perfect. I love the shape of his eyebrows and eyes2 points

Having nothing to say is fine with everybody as long as it's not about (redacted) or (bleep) or #&$& in the (redacted). I kept them related and somewhat thoughtful....I think.... These are my random Green Day thoughts for today: Getting my first guitar pedal today. I wanted that Dookie Pedal but 200 dollars? For that price I would want Billie Joe to come with it. Maybe he could bring me my damn coffee while he's in town, the punk. I can't sound like Green Day or even Panicland. But at least my music has its own flavor, which I am proud of. Might share my soundcloud somewhere on here. Yeah Oh Yeah1 point

It's from the uncensored one, about 4:21 in. (not linking so as not to start yet another Oh Love video discussion).1 point

Yes you can do that it's not against the rules on GDC to post in EVERY thread even when you have nothing to say.1 point

Same! Someone I just talked to said exactly this: "Wait, they're still putting out new content? After all these years? I thought they finished after American Idiot and just kept touring off their old fame." Smh. GD could most definitely "tour off their old fame" if they wanted to, but what rocks do people live under???1 point

Yeah every time I talked about Green Day I usually get the "Oh they're still making music?" response and it's just baffling. Like is there some sort expiration date on artists? After a certain age you just assume they stop making music? Weird.1 point

This album is already kinda getting boring for me, I suppose I expected this to happen. I am one of those people that are already anxiously waiting for extra releases.1 point

Some of you have a lasting precision memory of your dreams . Lucky! I think I dreamed of Billie (only him, from GD, as far as I can recall) twice. The first time was quit some time ago. He was one of the main protagonists in some kind of epic story, in imaginary places, with a lot of fantastic and video game-like elements. I often have dreams like that, and they always feel very long, with lots of adventures happening during a wide timeline, with an overall exciting and sometimes wonderful feeling about it, and this time Billie just happened to be in it, in his normal self, with no superpowers or anything like that. I was like seeing him from behind as we see our video games playing characters, but I wasn't deciding of his moves, just watching lol. I don't remember more details. The second time was more recent, I remembered it quite well the following hours but the details faded after that. It was a more down to earth context, and I was also there in the dream. There were other people whom I don't recall apart from Billie. We were all like moving around places, and Billie and I had a few exchanges throughout it, but all I can recall well was that they were extremely awkward lol. And it was not only due to personality traits: Billie was not really his real self either. He was like a blunter and less sensitive version of himself and it all felt a bit off. So I don't really mind if I don't recall better that one1 point

Is this from the Oh Love video? I donโt remember Itโs possible. Iโm not complaining as long as he doesnโt go too over the top1 point

21st Century Breakdown Unfortunately there's currently no way that I know of to get the remaining 6 DLC songs to work, but once I figure it out, it'll be updated here.1 point

Well this is random but titillating. I do wonder if heโll be doing this kind of thing again on HM since heโs back to not having much of a filter again.1 point

Almost only ever really counts in Horse shoes and hand grenades. I am FUCKING AROUND! I'm not gonnna burn it down! I'm hater a traitor in pair of under armour right now!1 point

For some reason today, I got a "Smells like Teen Spirit" vibe from "Sugar Youth". It doesn't sound like it, but just the atmosphere. So I was thinking of a music video. Green Day are digitally inserted into the Nirvana video. Both bands are playing at the same time, so it looks like Nirvana are playing "Sugar Youth" as well. And then the crowd does a wall of death, seemingly crushing both bands. But of course, Green Day and Nirvana are too tough to die. As the crowd separates Billie is now playing with Nirvana and Kurt is now playing with Mike and Tre. Mike gives his curious look, but they keep on rocking. The day after this video and single are released, we get an amazing Green Day cover "Smells Like Teen Spirit", which gives the original a run for it's money. They decide to be brave and release it as a single. Then we get a surprise album! THE GREENISH TEALISH ALBUM BY GREEN DAY! An album of covers, but made into really experimental Green Day songs. People forget all about Weezer's "Africa" because this covers album is actually innovative and amazing! Heck, people start saying Green Day have done a better Nirvana song than Nirvana. OH MY GOSH. YEAH OH YEAH OH YEAH OH YEAH1 point

Today I went to see the 1975 at the O2 arena. Their opening act was beabadoobee (Billie and his sons follower her on Instagram and apparently her first purchased album was dookie). Her drummer was wearing a green day t shirt.1 point

I think it's a problem with the song Oh Yeah. And even though I like the album version of the song very much, I kind of hope they won't play it on tour, it doesn't work live for me, sorry. Although BJ was struggling with Still Breathing in the beginning too, it never sounded that bad.1 point

They just didn't know who the fuck you were ๐ I call bs on this sob story. Billie Joe has mentioned it directly in an interview and he was excited and thought it was cool. He's also gone on and even mentioned being interested in the band and supporting them. Just another excuse of a sub-par using GD for attention. Branden Flowers syndrome 2.0.1 point

I have completed my Father of All Inspiration album, despite a total lack of suggestions from you guys! 1. Sister - Prince 2. Tick Tick Boom - The Hives 3. Do you Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah) - Joan Jett and the Whatever 4. Your Love - Mighty Jupiters 5. Simple Pages - Weezer 6. Good Golly Miss Molly - Little Richard 7. She's a Rebel - You know who it is, Mother***ers! 8. Stressed Out - 21 Pilots 9. The Way You Used to Do - Queens of the Stone Age 10. Koka Kola - The Clash I obviously want to enjoy this playlist, but I purposely used songs I'm not super familiar with so it'll be fresh for me. I listened to just enough to convince myself it was a good fit and then made the playlist. There are 4 I have never heard and 6 I have, but never played to death.....with the exception being the Green Day tune. American Idiot is the only cd that I had to replace more than once because I played it to death. I actually am in need of another one, there is some skippage I can't deal with. Anyway... The goal is to hear some different types of music, AND to maybe stop hating Queens of the Stone Age, haha! I did hear some rather good songs in searching for a twinner to "Take the Money and Crawl", so who knows? Maybe I've warmed up to their style a bit more. Maybe I'll warm up to 21 Pilots too, I don't know. Tell me what songs you would have chosen to represent the inspiration for Father of All. Tell me if you think my picks are absolutely off-base, ridiculous - whatever you like! I know you wanna! *Now I'm off to make a massive mix of all the music Billie Joe's ever mentioned that he likes. It's going to be a rager!1 point
