I've been wearing my Green Day beanie lately and today, the bus driver got super excited when he saw it. He asked if I was going to Hella Mega and everything. He said he was surprised to see someone so young know who they are. And then I realized he probably thought I was in high school...I am not But it was still cool to meet another fan. Usually my Green Day swag elicits eyerolls.

I had a dream last night that I'd gone on holiday to see GD play in a different country, which caused me to miss one of my Universal Credit appointments. They were being shitty about it, so I fought back and things eventually got out of hand and I ended up in some kind of lawsuit with the government. So they sent some thug around to my grandparents house to try and threaten me into silence, but I managed to get his dog to bite his dick off. Billie Joe somehow heard about this story and reposted it on his Instagram. Not quite sure why I'm dreaming about dogs biting people's dicks off, but there we go

Today I went to see the 1975 at the O2 arena. Their opening act was beabadoobee (Billie and his sons follower her on Instagram and apparently her first purchased album was dookie). Her drummer was wearing a green day t shirt.

Yeah, I'm sorry but I refuse going to Hella Mega. I'm lucky they're playing a festival in my country so I get to see them without FOB. I'm not too stoked about the rest of the line up, but hey, I'll rather see Sum 41 and some local bands for a similar price than what they have at HM. I was so excited by their performances last fall, so I'm thinking it'd be worth traveling to some other GD only shows, but what if the tour continues with Billie being as off key as recently - do I want to see that irl? These are hard decisions
