I've been wearing my Green Day beanie lately and today, the bus driver got super excited when he saw it. He asked if I was going to Hella Mega and everything. He said he was surprised to see someone so young know who they are. And then I realized he probably thought I was in high school...I am not But it was still cool to meet another fan. Usually my Green Day swag elicits eyerolls.

In an interview one of the guys (I think it was Tre) also mentioned the Beatles album "Meet the Beatles" as an inspiration: 12 short, fast songs and only 27 minutes length in total. I see where he's coming from and I get the vibes (especially the excessive use of hand clapping 😛 )

I think it's a problem with the song Oh Yeah. And even though I like the album version of the song very much, I kind of hope they won't play it on tour, it doesn't work live for me, sorry. Although BJ was struggling with Still Breathing in the beginning too, it never sounded that bad.

It could be the muscle relaxers I was just prescribed for a work injury it could also be the marijuana talking but after numerous listens to the album I can officially say I was mostly wrong in my initial opinion on the album as a whole. That may be true I still have some minor complaints but whatever .. anyway I actually really like it at least a majority of it. That's it. Now to return to my shame cave and listen on repeat kthanxbye

The highlighted part has me seriously worried for the show I'm going to this summer. I love this band to death, but shit the singing has been a new low recently. It might be because of the songs. It's happened before with Still Breathing. It wasn't very good at first, but over time the song grew on his voice or the other way around and it became a great song live. I just hope they're able to break in the songs live and give a kickass performance.

Huh, didn't know about this thread. I actually remember one dream I had a while ago (way before FOAM was even announced). I dreamed that Green Day had released two songs called Effervescence and Two New Tits... and they sucked ass 😳

Realistically will they even have a full 2.5 hour set like they usually do? With two other headliners I can’t see them playing more than 2 hours but I also can’t see them agreeing to less with this being their big world tour for FOAM. Fall Out Boy are one of my favourite bands as well so it’s worth it for me just to see them both together. If I was just going for Green Day I’d still go but be concerned about the length and contents of the set. It’ll still be great no matter what.

So while we're on the phone, talking about something else entirely, she's still looking up pictures of Billie. I guess she found some old Gilman ones and was like "Is that his long hair?! I've take one time to think about this album... And what I can say?? I don't like Revolution Radio, but close to this album, Revolution is a masterpiece. This tell pretty much about what I think. I just sad with this, I don't fucking believe. Green Day ALWAYS be my favorite band! I waiting for a tour and if they play here I wanna love go in one show. And I waiting with all my heart for next album with hope this going for MUCH better. xx 🥺 Ps: Is my opinion guys, don't take for your heart if you love the album.

I'm listening to the 1998 acoustic session from KALX radio and I either forgot it exists or I never heard it, but anyway, I'm absolutely freaking out. this is incredible edit: this version of Jinx really makes it stand out as the sad "I'm a bad person to have a relationship with" song and I prefer it to the album version (that never really worked for me)
