When you do this (I know the Billie photo wasn't actually taken at Christie Road but I still had to)3 points

I have every GD album on CD and vinyl, so I ordered the FOAM vinyl and I think I will also get the CD later because I love booklets. I use Spotify too when I’m on the way, but at home I love to take the time to put on a vinyl, it makes music more real and approachable for me, you listen more carefully. Plus, I love the thought of supporting a band by buying a physical copy (or copies), streaming can never do that, even if you stream it hundreds of times.3 points

These are perfect descriptions and probably almost exactly what I would have said. He is definitely strong to be able to do what he does - running back and forth across huge stages, jumping high in the air, being generally frenetic while also singing and playing guitar - not a lot of people would be able to do that with so much energy to boot. Perfect build, perfect face, perfect hair, perfect everything. Literally earlier tonight while I was thinking about how amazing Billie looks (as I often do), I was alone and said out loud to myself "Good genes. Billie has good genes."3 points

Depends on how I feel about the whole album. Can't judge till I hear it all!3 points

Honestly the longer I have sat with FOA and FRA the more I like them, especially FOA. It is just such a fun high energy song. FRA is also a great short burst of fun, but it definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I went from being very worried about this album to being very excited. I REALLY wish they went with a different producer though.3 points

And the bellie... apparently I haven’t typed “bellie” on my phone since before September when I upgraded. Had to add it to my dictionary again 😁3 points

He’s just naturally small but still strong. He did a lot of sports as a kid — swimming, baseball, football etc. but quit when the other kids started outgrowing him and stuck with music instead 😄 Smart move. Still takes lots of muscle and agility to do what he does so he’s tiny without being scrawny.3 points

Very much possible. Oh Love wasn’t the best single choice for ¡Uno!, but the rest of the album proved to be pretty good. (Don’t mistake that for it not being a good song. Oh Love is great.)2 points

I feel like I'm the literal definition of sour-grapes for this album cycle lol and fully aware of it, but this will actually be the first Green Day release ever where I don't think I'll bother buying a physical copy of some kind (and that's breaking a very long tradition for me) unless I'm blown away by the rest of the album (which is always possible I guess).2 points

I will buy the CD and vinyl - Im just in love with physical releases2 points

I ordered the CD just for the ticket pre-sale. It should make a lovely coaster.2 points

No, don’t say that. This is what happens on my iPod in the gym and it throws me every time! It’s just wrong 🤬2 points

That he has on the bra on inside-out makes me laugh so much. I don’t know why, it just does. 😂😂🤣2 points

Yeah, shaving his armpits would def be going to far in the youthfulness thing.2 points

I'm late to the party, but looking at all the images from the New Year Eve, can I say Billie looked so damn hot! He was beautiful! I so wish I would have been able to witness this concert live.2 points

Here it is. Narrow shoulders.... with an inside-out bra and hairy armpit.2 points

As far as Billie and his eternal youthfulness, I think he and we are very blessed with a wicked good combo of genetic wins in his case. Full head of hair way beyond the norm, and a baby face in the truest sense of the word. His eyes are kind of like anime eyes, and his whole facial structure is eternally child-like. Also those lips. He won a genetic lottery, and it’s part of the reason Green Day has been so successful. Oh and also he’s smol, which doesn’t hurt.2 points

That's so true... when you listen (not only but especially) to Against Me!'s early stuff there are so many political songs that have a punch and are quite radical, while early Green Day is just girl songs and when there's something political it's very mild. I don't mean that as criticism, just as an observation. I think those of us who are somewhat disillusioned with Green Day recently have been missing a point the entire time (and that includes me). One of their first songs that has social commentary as a topic is Road To Acceptance, a song about racism, it goes "if you'd stop a while / and maybe if you smiled / you would realize that we're all the same". So yeah Billie's radical youth was telling racists to smile1 point

This speculation I approve of. I mean it’s very natural. They’re right in our faces with their love. 😍 First thing I noticed in this pic And speaking of which, I was just looking at this pic again, and lol at David’s face behind them.1 point

Already pre-ordered the CD since I still collect CDs. Most likely going to buy it on Vinyl as well at some point, but mostly going to listen on Spotify. I do like CDs in the car sometimes still for better audio quality but even then Spotify tends to be much more convenient.1 point

That’s how every giveaway campaign works and ever worked, but now EU regulations force anyone to specify how they are gonna use your data and to ask for your permission for each use of it1 point
-
That bothers me. Give us your full contact information and allow us to send you personalized marketing messages from Green Day, Weezer, Fall Out Boy and Harley Davidson. In return, you get a very slim chance of winning a t-shirt. Don't advertise that as a kind giveaway contest for your fans. It's not.1 point

Oh wow I still remember taping GD appearances and random nonsense on my VCR. I actually found those tapes and they're just confusing. One minute it's Green day on TRL the next it's SpongeBob screaming.1 point

Haha yes, mixing and mastering were always on point (also on the trilogy 😄)1 point

Have we fangirled yet about how narrow his shoulders are? I love his tiny frame, I’m not into broad shouldered bro types.1 point

Lenny definitely has a favorite in the Armstrong house. And that person is Billie. ❤️❤️❤️❤️1 point

As well as changing his bio he also changed his profile picture to this with Lenny:1 point

That was never going to happen considering the album is so short.1 point

That will be me when I'm old. I can totally see it when my great grandkids come to visit me and I'm unable to hold a conversation but then go on a rant about something BJA did 70 years ago.1 point

Yes! I really wanna see some Mike and Tre love although I know Mike not really into that stuff and it gets me down tbh lol1 point

I think (hope) part of the problem, if indeed there is one, is just the timescale. Diehard fans will arrange their lives around a show but casual sales will not high 7/8 months beforehand I wouldn’t think.1 point

First time listening with poor quality headphones, I heard ‘Baby’s got the arms of an ape’ in Fire, Ready, Aim. I’m not sure I want to know what the real lyrics are now, these amuse me too much.1 point
