  1. @BillieMyLove If you do post any pictures like that, make sure you spoiler them so people have the choice of whether to look or not. We do have some younger fans here too. In the meantime, check out this drop-drop dead gorgeous picture.

  2. "Well-endowed" that's not an adjective I'd ever expect to see in this context

  3. This whole video is priceless, especially when attempts are made to describe it 😂

  4. I've recently discovered that video. It's really great, like young Billie and their conversations. Although he didn't always show up in the whole video, watched all of it. Even just hearing his talking voice makes me so happy and its a bummer there is not that much footage from those days

  5. ^ That was the red shirt he wore at my nearest arena in 2005 and it's a gig that I wish I could go to in a time machine as I wasn't a GD fan then I wish Billie would wear more red during concerts, it's a colour that really suits him And my final point is that it's nice to see some new faces in this thread. Hi

  6. I forgot to reply to you earlier, but I want to say thanks a lot for the guide. I'm not really planning to do it in the nearest future (I can't get myself to actually do it, even though I technically could, but I can't bring myself to fly to the US for a couple days and planning for a lengthier trip is more difficult and complicated), but it's on my bucket list for sure. I'd love to visit the Bay Area and then maybe some more of California or maybe going up to Seattle would be cool too... ~ On an unrelated note, I have to say that I've thought about it and maybe I've been wrong the entire time with saying that lyrically FOAM is a step backwards from RevRad. In fact it actually makes sense if it's seen as a follow up to Love Is For Losers. If I was to make a smooth transition playlist, it would go somewhat like SN - SB - FN - BOTW - Soul Surrender - Chasing a Ghost - Kill Your Friends - Devil's Kind - FOAM. It's a character arc from "yay I'm making a progress in my life" to "lol everything it's a mess but anyway let's paaaaartayyyyy," but yeah I see how it actually makes sense and in fact isn't a sudden 180 degree turn.

  7. I think Billie just confessed the actual truth to us — it’s hard and he’s lazy 😄

  8. That might what they're thinking, but I'm not sure if it's really true. How come that other bands who have hits too can switch it up a lot more? I guess it's a fair game if they choose to stick to a rigid setlist because they believe the show is better that way or it's simply easier for them, because playing more songs would also require practicing more songs or they're more comfortable that way (Billie has mentioned having stage fright, so who knows, maybe he prefers sticking to a script over improvisation), but I don't really buy that more varied setlists would annoy concert-goers too much.

  9. A little 6 years old kid went to the rink this afternoon. He had a Green Day toque on his head. I let him dangle me and score some goals against me by purpose

  12. Here you go, at 32:04. And yes not for kids, but it’s also not very clear.

  13. Sadly, the SB halftime show this year is confirmed to be JLo and Shakira. I'd love to see our guys finally get a turn on that stage, but they might not be suited to what the NFL and organizers want out of halftime entertainment. I wonder if they've been approached and turned it down? Edit: I guess they could just extend the KFAD medley by a minute or two 😂

  14. I am sure we have all seen it, but don’t let that stop you looking for more gorgeousness and sharing stuff you feel we may have missed 😉

  15. Yeah, we’ve all seen it. 😋 The tour video from ‘91 (I think) has also be posted before.

  17. Yeah, I see what you mean and I hope whatever he's doing works out for him and that's about it. I didn't really connect the introspective songs together with the party stuff, but I guess there's a link that's clearer than it seemed.

  18. They can play lots of deep cuts at club shows. At stadium and arena shows, a good portion of the audience doesn’t know the deep cuts. So if they play more then one or two, those people are going to be pissed that they played those in place of some of the hits or more well-known songs.

  19. And to add to the awesomeness, when they got kicked out, they continued the party under a bridge or something like that, these kids deserves even more money 😂

  20. Why would GD and Billie share the story then? And among the donors there’s also other people close to the band. Reading the comments of people who were there on social media, including the kid who organized this and the band that played, I don’t see any reason to doubt this is legit And I think regardless of how much money the restaurant wanted to have back, the point of the action is to contribute and give back to the DIY scene, in order to make possible to organize more shows like that. Which is awesome anyway. Considering also the vast support and appreciation this kid received, I don’t see how this can be a scam at all

  23. He looks really attractive while posing with all these guitars. His outfit is also perfect. Dig the waistcoat and love matching Blue’s strap with his socks!

  24. Damn, you're right. That gif is just 🔥. Still hate smoking, though. On a different note, I forgot just how much I love this photoshoot. He's so stunning! 😍 Just look at that smile!

  25. It's actually nice (as well as hilarious) to see Billie shutting down elitism. Good lad.

  26. I checked out again the Kerrang interview with the band since it has been posted integrally on their website. I completely forgot these bits of information about Oh Yeah! (Or bulletproof backpack), and now I am so pumped for it, I really hope to hear this soon as next single “Nevertheless, the country’s leader has left Green Day feeling incredibly unsettled – and it’s a topic they address on Bulletproof Backpack (...) It’s sort of about being freaked out around the polarisation that we live in right now,” he explains. “Whether it’s kids getting shot in schools, or the closest thing that America has ever seen to fascism. Light stuff…” Its whimsical, dreamy ‘Everybody is a star…’ chorus also has a very 2019 meaning. “I just feel like with all of the chaos going on, no-one ever hesitates to take a good selfie,” Billie Joe concedes with an eye-roll.“
