  1. I’m back in Italy for Christmas and I’m hearing FOAM everywhere 😄 It was on the radio a few times, I heard it in a shop, and the Sevilla concert is on rotation on MTV Rock. Pretty cool, I realized how much the song has grown on me during these three months.

  4. That's awful but can be fixed...fascists out, bratwursts in and Italy is perfect

  5. plot twist: The cover, album title, and tracks will all be entirely different upon the final release, and we'll really get the green day Magnum Opus after all

  6. Also, I probably agree with him on this one. Lazy bones is terribly underrated.

  9. I don’t really care about song titles when it comes to this band, some of my favorite GD songs have ridiculous titles 😄 But yeah, these gave me a pretty good vibe so far, and there’s a couple that really intrigued me. My main expectation at this point is that this will be a fast record exploring different sounds, and I could see some of these titles fitting that, even if in the end it means nothing

  10. Don’t be too jealous, Italy does not have bratwursts

  13. The best part of the bra pic is that we get to see some skin. So rare these days. And his dad bod is looking quite a bit less dadish.

  14. They should go back and change the name of Dirty Rotten Bastards to "Yeah,Yeah,Yeah,Yeah,Yeah"

  17. I went to an old book shop yesterday and found a selection of poems by one local quite famous leftist writer, titled "Songs Of Rage And Love" It's from 1962, so a 100% coincidence.

  18. After all, American Idiot was looked at as something weird and out of genre to lots of OG fans, but now it's considered by many people including myself to be the magnum opus of their career i'm staying as positive as I can lol, I don't really think a record with little direction in terms of content will become a magnum opus in the truest sense, but y k n o w...

  19. It's because Billie's got Italian roots. They obviously love him there

  20. For some reason Italy loves Green Day. I listened to Virgin Radio Italy/Italian radio in general a couple times (discovered it through their premiere of BITUSA) and heard so much Green Day? I'm wondering if Italy isn't some psyop directed by Crush

  21. Billie will be strapped to a spinning dart board. As the city around him gets graffitied, his body turns the color of the paint. and then it's all washed away by the green stuff from American Idiot music video.

  23. Taps. Is this thing on? So many lovely pictures that Billie posted in his story yesterday. What a shame the forum was down as I'm only just looking through the comments now about the story. I love the one with Lenny and the live pictures. God that bra picture is hilarious- which is why it would make a good profile picture for someone.

  26. If you think about it Jesus of Suburbia must have sounded dumb too and it ended up being the best green day song ever with Homecoming.

  32. A lot of moments like this throughout the trilogy. They explained it as the before the party - the party - hangover. I've been thinking of it as normal day - train wreck - after the train wreck lol I thought Uno delivered on what they stated but even Uno has a few small cringe moments lyrically. Uno made sense and if you were to remove the rock operas Uno would fit chronologically after Warning. Dos would be out of left field and Tre could be a fit but didn't pack a punch hard enough. I was expecting Tre to be a compact 13 song album in their contemporary style that found them success on AI with BOBD, WMUWSE etc. I'm curious about what the lyrics are like for FOAM's 8 remaining tracks. The first 2 tracks haven't dived into any lyrical themes they're almost serving the purpose of keeping the mystery alive.

  34. That doesn't sound too odd, tbh. Most concert ticket sales happen in the window immediately following announcement. I'd imagine ads will die off for now, and then probably pick up locally surrounding the dates themselves.

  35. My personal theory is that FOAM was only announced at the time it was so that it could coincide with the tour announcement and the music Weezer and FoB had to release. Earlier than they wanted. Proof? None really, other than hindsight and the fact they’ve done nothing except a music video and the weak NHL partnership since then. It’s just hard to explain the lack of promotion since the announcement. Things will have to pick up in January if this album actually means anything to the band. I’m starting to think there will be something else prior to the tour starting.

  36. I actually thought it was more The Network trying to be FBHT who are trying to be Longshot who are trying to be Prima Donna who are trying to be Jeff Matika who's trying to be Green Day.
