I would be surprised if they didn't make a new live album out of this tour. Its the biggest tour they've ever done, in the biggest venues and they are the headliners, clearly. Plus I imagine most of these venues will have big screens protecting the image of whats happening. So if its being filmed anyway, why not make a live album?

I was watching the FOAMF performance on Jimmy Kimmel again for the umpteenth time and when Billie did his trill thing, my cat looked intently at the screen like "What is this strange and wonderful sound?" She was so interested!

This is a genuine question, not a criticism. How do people think that FOAMF is pop? I’ve heard it before and it almost seems like a bandwagon critique that isn’t reality, but maybe I’m missing something. It’s pretty far from pop IMO. Is it because of the falsetto? Because it’s not the first time falsetto has been used in a rock song.

Yeah I wanted to ask the source though because it seems they’re just speculating based on the photos.

Not the championship, but the start of the 2019 season. Wednesday are the first games of the regular season and this is a good guess, I wonder if they filmed the intro to the NHL on TV, like bands do with Sunday and Monday Night Football. Looks like the first games (including the Sharks that Tre referenced) are gonna be aired Wednesday night on NBCS (NBC Sports channel). I’d keep an eye out. Ngl, “We are rivals in the riot inside us” sounds like it would be killer cut together with hockey action shots. So if this is the case then the song they shot here was Father of All... and not a second single. Madonna Inn is still in the running for most likely second single/music video.

So we got thus far excluding FOAMF: -Idiot Love - Sugar Youth -Junkies On a High -Meet Me On The Roof -Bulletproof Backpack -Art Of The Deal With The Devil Sounds like trilogy songs, but more interesting, which frankly is how I feel this album will sound

When someone asks you what your favourite song is, so you play them a FBHT song, and they say that the lead singer's voice sounds familiar, so you tell them "it's the same guy who sings in Green Day" because you assume that they won't know Billie's name, but it turns out they actually do know Billie's name, and that's when you start to seriously consider asking them to marry you.

most likely the tour because of merch $ may explain why there's a shorter list of dates and no South American dates announced some speculation: if this is the case and what Billie said about a new album is true then we may even see the next album sometime in late 2020 or early 2021. There will probably be another touring kicking off in the spring of '21 if that's the case. I know some people were trying to downplay the comment which is appropriate considering we really don't know but I have a feeling that this next album has already been recorded.

Turnstile, a hardcore band that kicks serious ass, has an album that's only 25 minutes and it's stellar, so the length of FOAM never really bothered me. As long as the songs are good, length doesn't matter!

I was definitely put off at first by the 10 songs, 26 minute news, but I was listening to Goodbye Ellston Avenue yesterday, which is just under 24 minutes, and it didn't feel that short. So maybe there's hope.
