I've never heard of a thing called Tick Tock either, and I still don't get it😄 I miss the times when we got all those cute, dorky Facebook live sessions and Instagram live videos. Those were the times😍 The promotion of this era hovers somewhere between non-existant, weird and embarrassing so far.

It looks like I'm doing the right thing when I avoid this stuff. One thing I'll never understand is why they're constantly trying to market to kids about 12 years old. I can't think of an artist their genre and age who'd be majorly popular with that group and most of green day's fanbase and people you see at concerts seems to be in their 20s, give or take a few years both ways. It'd be bit less embarrassing to admit I'm their fan, if the promotion they do was different. How does this work??? This ticktocking?

Greg teased some Green Day thing on TikTok happening today. Luckily it all seems to get reposted on Facebook stories and IG so I don’t have to get sucked in there.

So far I don't see much difference from the RR era in terms of amount and type of content on social media, everything just moved to IG (with the exception of this ticktock thing). Which is normal since FB is slowly dying.

Unfortunalety, Unicorn is a trend, mostly for kids, but adults seem to love it too. I work in a art and craft supplies store and there are a lot of merchandises related to unicorns for the kids. I hate unicorns! I hate them even more since GD added one on the album cover. Even worst: GD's unicorn makes me think about my allergy/intolerance to food coloring. Just like the unicorn, I'm able to vomit a rainbow.

This TikTok thing is actually hilarious.

I wouldn't go as far as to say its probably already recorded. But I believe its totally possible for them to be giving FOAM their all, while in the background thinking about whats next and laying down some ideas. Given some of their comments, I think they have things in mind, and possibly rough demos. At this point I'm expecting more music next year other than FOAM. Whether its a stand alone single, an EP or an album, I'm not sure but I think there will be something. People refer to Billie's comment about possibly releasing another album next year, but the comment that sticks most in my mind is him saying that they will probably put something else out before the tour starts.
