Really hoping this whole “Hella Mega” business is just a smaller portion of a Green Day tour. Absolutely no interest in the other two bands and don’t want to pay an arm and a leg. I just want a regular, good old fashioned Green Day tour goddamnit.

Me, a few days ago: "Meh, I'm kinda whatever with this announcement." Me, after that little video teaser: "FUCK IT. LET'S GO! HEYYYYY-OOOOOOO!"

I just don't see why Green Day needs to do this tour with Weezer and FOB. Just seems kind of a waste for their fans. There will be some who can not afford this and miss out on seeing them because Crush wants to make a little more bling. This is so lame. One opening band is enough to sit through for 30 minutes, but two?

The Interrupters would improve this.

The last few days really pissed me off with the whole leaks drama and the co-headliner tour thing. But then comes Billie like: I mean....😭😭

Just got confirmation from a friend who works within the industry that Hellman's Mayonnaisse is sponsoring the whole tour. VIP tickets will include early entry and a 24 pack of mayo jars (but you won't be allowed to leave the venue to put them iI n your car you'll have to hold it for the whole show.) Such a cool perk for all my fellow mayo heads out there.

Not sure, I only know what's going on with the UK dates. From what I've seen, Green Day are on last for 90 mins, though their stage time ends 30 mins before the curfew (I assume this is because they're known to run over and likely to do so). Fall out boy have an hour, as do Weezer. The Interrupters are on before Weezer for 30-40 mins and apparently there's another band to be confirmed who will play before them... Its being run by SJM Concerts who also did the foo Fighters shows at the same stadium last year, where it started pretty early

I think many of us - and me too - got a little carried away with the negativity and disappointment about fake leaks and shared tours, and while I'm still confused, I've come to realize that we should start to see the good thing in all of this: Our favorite band is healthy and alive and about to start a new era, I can't believe I'll see them live again soon and I'm so grateful that they're in my world. I am SO ready for this, man. Keep the news coming, whatever it is, I'm not afraid anymore, as long as I will see my boyz soon😍

I am happy for a Green Day tour not happy about FOB and Weezer. Oh well. Maybe not a show I am willing to pay hella mega bucks for. But I am excited to hear new music so that might be the kicker to buying the tickers anyway.

A friend from college who was from California used to say "hella" all the time and it drove me crazy. I told him it wasn't a real word and I couldn't stand it. Now a whole tour is named after it? Oh, how the turntables.

What the text in the picture is saying is you can reserved your place right now while waiting for the tickets to go on sale. If you used the code LIVE2019!, you get a 20% discount on the price. It means you're sure to get a ticket when they will be available at a lower price. I'm late to the party, but I'm not happy with the news. GD, FOB and Weezer are 3 big names in the music industry. Each of them can sold out shows. I know GD and Weezer always sold out their concerts in Montreal within minutes after the tickets go on sale. I don't want to fight with FOB and Weezer fans to get tickets. Also, 3 big names mean higher prices. I'm broke! And, anyway, I might be unable to get tickets because I got the feeling they will go on sale next Friday or next Saturday. I will be at the job on both days without any access to the Internet. It has been always like that when artists announced a tour: tickets go on sale less than a week later. I have nothing against FOB and Weezer. It's just that I don't want to see them on the same tour as GD.

It's just classic Billie/Green Day cringe lol. Billie likes saying "hella" because it's a Bay Area word and he's proud of that fact . "Hella Mega", it's just a playful tongue in cheek name in a similar vein to "Awesome as Fuck" or "God's Favourite Band"

When the Longshot was private he was a lot more active in the comments, liking and replying to quite a few people vs how often he does so on his main account. Maybe because he felt the fans wouldn't get hated on as much because of the smaller sized group? I know the first girl that knew about it all got bullied by other fans...I guess because they were jealous of her, and he went onto her profile and defended her in the comments. He also teased clips of all of the songs and the tour on there before officially announcing them or doing so on his main account. Right before he made it public he said that he had fun with the account and talking to/teasing us, but he was making it public because the album release/tour were impending and he had to promote them on a wider scale. He then deleted the post and made it public and went from 1,333 followers to 100,000+ in 24hrs. I was a bit shell shocked lol. That all being said, dunno why they've made this one private, seeing as it'll be officially announced in like a day?? Longshot was private for like 2-3 months prior, which made more sense from a teasing-fans-who-found-out-about-the-secret stand point lol 🤷
