Okay this makes me look embarrassingly dorky but I'm posting it anyway because it's genuinely one of the best things that's ever happened to me. So I was playing Hempire and I named my Hempire Cup strain after Green Day because obviously the weed reference is fitting (and also I'm a dork and I'm terrible at making up names), and then I ended up getting exactly 1039 points in the Hempire Cup, so now I'm freaking out so bad because it's like the most perfect coincidence ever. I am wayyyy too happy about this, I've genuinely gone giddy.3 points

Here it is so no one else has to scroll through the long article: Cantiello: There was a stream of people coming down to do press after it, and I remember the All-American Rejects [singer] Tyson Ritter, and he was like, "Kanye's a jackass" or something -- like, "What the hell's he doing?" I remember Billie Joe from Green Day had strong words like, "What the hell was that? Let the girl have her moment!" (and it says at the bottom that they reached out to him for comment)3 points

What account this talking about? Hahaha this sounds like Mike tried to use Billie's card and then got all Karen about it2 points

Is a post about Jasonโs kid really appropriate here? I thought we werenโt supposed to post pics of family members that had nothing to do with Green Day.1 point

I need some help with one question. I've found an article about Billie inviting Eden Galindo on stage (you know, the guitar player that played at the Bataclan in Paris during the bad things going on there). https://www.triplem.com.au/story/eagles-of-death-metal-guitarist-joins-green-day-in-paris-13946 It says he joined the band in Paris but at videos I've found on youtube, you can only see him backstage. Do you know the song where he joins the band in Paris and Belgium? And by the way: I think it's a super nice thing they did by inviting him. Eden later posted on instagram that the crew and the band asked several times if he was okay during the show (because of the traumatic events in Paris at the last time he played with the eagles of death metal). I pay so much respect for his desicion to never give up after what he experienced at the Bataclan. Eden Galindo rocks and he's a really cool guy that I pay a lot of respect for. I wouldn't have the nuts to go on stage after all this. And Billie is the best for showing him that it's possible to go on and that he can do what he likes even if it's small baby steps to take. Also heard they put him at an extra save position. Found a video on youtube, where you can see him at the end. at 5:40 5:401 point

Yep, noticed that too, with tons of storage boxes. Their house seems lived in, going by that room and the kitchen, I love it.1 point

The only clothes we know heโs got rid of is his Woodstock outfit. Hope he doesnโt have 1000 pairs of Converse tucked away somewhere ๐๐๐1 point

The 1st picture was, what 2014? He doesn't look any older in the new picture. I'm not surprised it's the same bandana since still has shirts from the Dookie era. It would've been funnier if it was the "Billie" bandana that Billie Eilish gave him, though.1 point

Saw this guy two years ago today at Wrigley (obligatory for me to mention I'm wearing a Sox shirt as I type this). Here's to forgetting more buttons on the next tour.1 point

It's a beautiful vocal performance for sure. That's my favourite thing about it too. I love how the sweet tone of his vocals is juxtaposed with the "creepy" lyrics. It really captures how people speak casually or even sweetly when saying weird or obsessive things about celebrities they wouldn't say about regular people. Yeah, like around the time Drama Queen and She's A Saint Not A Celebrity were written, Billie had been defending Britney Spears (although that's another thing I remember but can't find any record of now). I don't interpret the blood as explicitly menstrual, but as a metaphor for how young the subject is when people start obsessing over her, or just how people blatantly discuss intimate things about celebrities. Definitely difficult to pull off - I'm thinking of writing a novel about a stalker but it has to be perfectly executed or people will think it's autobiographical!1 point

I had a dream that Tre was dating Beyonce. And had a dream a few days ago about Billie, Mike, and Tre changing a light bulb. Not exactly an interesting dream, but when I woke up I thought, did I actually just have a dream about how many idiots it takes to change a light bulb?1 point

In my dream last night The Longshot played on a table at this corner shop as part of their UK tour They covered Misery, with the crowd singing because Billie forgot the lyrics. The shop owner was very proud of his music venue. This a sign and I hope youโre all ready for the Premier Stores Tour 2k19.1 point
