  1. They both have that slightly rock n roll, bouncy catchy songs thing going on. Bouncing Off the Wall and Youngblood sound like they're straight off the trilogy. Can't think of another Green Day album it sounds more similar to. Revolution Radio could be accused of that since the lyrics are quite vague but Bang Bang literally describes a mass shooter's thought process in the first person, can't see how that could be considered meaningless. Also there's loads of songs with deeply personal lyrics like Somewhere Now, Forever Now, Outlaws, Still Breathing. Idk but I find the lyrics on Rev Rad some of their most direct, honest and relatable.

  2. Interesting. Here’s a tweet in which in which an actress is apparently celebrating being cast in the film adaption of American Idiot. So perhaps it’s happening after all?

  3. How can it be ready for theaters in November if they have just cast characters? Make a movie, edit it and release it all within less than four months! Hm, not sure about this now.

  4. When I rarely even wear this hoodie and it's been in the washing machine but it's still there. It's everywhere. I can't escape. My favourite tho was finding it on an airport floor in a city they weren't even playing. I wanted to know who else had flown to wherever it was and managed to tread confetti back

  6. Fantastic! I so want to see this, but it better be done really well. Also, I want BJ to play St Jimmy, no-one else will be as good and I can see him with the slicked back hair! 💥

  7. I don't get how you can't find an enjoyable track on RevRad if you love the trilogy. It's basically a mix between the trilogy and AI/21CB

  8. My 18 year old just told me she thinks the 5 Seconds of Summer cover of American Idiot has more “punk energy” than the original. 😭 I’ve failed as a parent

  10. Yes, although usually the page will identify itself as an RPG. It’s when players cast themselves in various roles and they post as their characters pretending a certain scenario, in this case an AI movie RPG. You could try messaging one of the participants to see if that’s what it is, haven’t they all set up fake celebrity accounts?

  12. I get lost in those beautiful green orbs. Next to his hair, those eyes are his best feature. So expressive.

  13. His eyes are unreal. Can anyone who has met him in real life say if they are larger than average? They just seem to be really amazing and stand out, even without eyeliner. 😂😂😂😂

  14. Yeah I know he particularly loves that one. I think in another interview in early RevRad, after playing a few shows, he said he enjoyed the most playing Forever Now. Honestly I think all the AI songs especially those they always play are great, and I love Letterbomb as well, but if I were to choose some AI songs to go in order to let way for other songs (in a purely hypothetical way!) I would keep Holiday and BOBD over Letterbomb and AI, just personal preference. But I doubt the song AI will get out (and I don't even want it to, for that matter) given how relevant it is these days... and the most important is that the boys keep playing what they want.

  16. Haha good lord, it sounds like I got all my stickers from Insubordination Fest!!!! Lol I was actually there for that show too! But yeah these stickers were from like 2000-2003 or so. I used to have a Groovie Ghoulies sticker and a The Queers (band lol) sticker on there years ago but they didn't have good adhesion after a couple years so I removed them. But yeah, that's an Ann Beretta sticker, and the pick guard is signed by Rob, Donovan, and Russ at their official last show back in 2008. I've seen AB play a handful more times since the "last" show.... love that band. Thanks for the compliment on the sound

  19. Really?! I can't even look at it. The regular beard is bad enough, but the neck beard is a whole different level of no. 😖

  20. Still don't get the hate for Youngblood. It's not an amazing song, but I think it's fine. It's fun and catchy. I really liked seeing it live!

  23. And then Tim Armstrong callls you on the work phone and you see the name on the display, and even though you know it’s not, you wonder why the musician is calling. Now I wonder if he knows he shares the name with the musician? Might ask next time he calls!
