  4. I love everything about it, but I am a bit biased cause I love Doctor Who too šŸ˜„ Considering that it was ā€œonlyā€ a free release on the web, I always found the whole thing amazing and a real indicator of the huge impact AI had on pop culture!

  5. When a rock star is posting pics of his sonā€™s band playing at a music festival, heā€™s definitely become dad rock. But in the best way.

  8. They said there were no outtakes on those sessions but Billie did write a bunch of stuff on the RevRad tour I do believe it was intended for Green Day because it sounds so much like a GD song to me, more than the other Longshot songs do.

  10. I guess there's quite a lot of bands who don't swear at all. Also I'm assuming they've only included the most popular mainstream artists. I was more surprised by Aerosmith but then I saw that they counted "lust" as swearing. And also I saw "coon" is one of the top words for the top country artist and was like wtf, but then realised it's obviously not the racial slur in the lyrics but the nickname for a raccoon. So maybe this list doesn't give that good a picture. Still I think Green Day would make the list in any case, they get quite a lot of bad words in.

  11. That was the first thing I noticed when I compared the reference photo of Sid & Nancy to Billie & Katā€™s adaptation. Of all the little things they couldā€™ve tweaked in their take on that photo...why couldnā€™t they just let Billie go shirtless? Just let us fangirls have that. God, I havenā€™t come to this website in weeks. I had to keep the Billie babble to myself for way too long. Itā€™s good to be back.

  12. Is there a question in here? We say ā€œBillieā€ because thatā€™s how his name is spelled... and ā€œBellieā€ is a fan girl thread thing.

  16. I had a dream last night that TrƩ had written a book. I found out about it because my cousin had checked out a copy of it from the library as well as a VHS tape with a short documentary about writing the book. Both the book and the documentary had the same cover of TrƩ sitting in a chair that was sideways and looking toward the camera with a side smile. He was wearing dark blue button up shirt with tiny white dots all over it and had blue hair. I guess the book was sort of an autobiography about his time and experience with Green Day.

  19. Moā€ @Monique74277702 20 hours ago Replying to @CyrusMMcQueen When I used to work in a jewelry store on Haight Street back in the 90's, Billie Joe Armstrong (of Green Day), and Steven Tyler (yes - that Steven Tyler) breezed into the store. They didn't buy anything. lol Console Pride 99% shipped!ā€ @vaspider 20 hours ago Replying to @TheSarcasmShow Billie Joe Armstrong from @GreenDay gave me a shirt at a show in Bethlehem PA in 1992 or 1993 after I got kicked in the head by a dickhead who targeting femmes in the pit. I wore that shirt with pride (& Pride, he was one of the first out bi ppl I knew of) until it fell apart.

  21. I went to a magic show tonight and the performer was a mind reader. He had the audience write down bits of trivia about themselves that he would then guess. I wrote ā€œI met Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Dayā€ just to see if I would get picked and I could get him to say it. He did šŸ˜±

  27. I agree so much. I get everyone is different but there are times I wonder if I am listening to the same band. In 2019 people are saying ā€œI want them to do something differentā€ , in 2000 people were saying ā€œoh, this so differentā€, in 2012 ā€œthis is really weirdā€ ā€œthey should stick with what they knowā€ etc etc. Iā€™m sure you get my drift but it seems like whatever they do some of us will love and some less so. I think they know what they are good at and work within certain confines but other than that, they are happy to be pretty experimental.

  28. I know a lot of people don't like this song but uninspired? It's one of the most unique and unusual songs they've made with the crazy evil verses with weird sounds contrasting with the catchy chorus. It sounds very creative/inspired to me, the opposite of generic/uninspired.

  40. Billie Joe has lost his voice. Not much info, he just appears to be a tad bit sick. The video was of poparatzi harrassing him as he leaves the hospital. Not a good article or video. EDIT: looks like TMZ reposted a video from 2012 and google is advertising it as new. Hard to tell because Billie looks exactly the same but yeah, I think we're good.
