In this show I watch called “Community”, in S1E10, the dean of the community college it takes place in, has Green Day play at a school dance for their “Green Week”, (about being environmentally friendly), but instead get a Scottish band called Greene Daeye. That’s a HORRIBLE mascot......... unless you’re a GD fan.

I took that to mean that this is one of those rare trips where they have time to do touristy things. They typically don’t when they are on tour for work and most of their travel is work related. Also, because Stonehenge is a couple hours drive from London it might be something they never had time to do before, it takes nearly an entire day.

When my friend was on vacation in California, she saw Billie Joe Armstrong, and told me EVERY SINGLE FRIKING DETAIL. Jealousy is still bubbling up inside of me.

Why specifically Emirates vs. Milton Keynes though? They also played Wembley in 2010 and I think there they had higher attendance than at Emirates Stadium. Also, they played several large stadiums in the US during the American Idiot tour (Giants Stadium, just to name one) also most likely exceeding 60'000, although not reaching 130'000. Btw, I think Wembley in 2010 was actually their single biggest show in terms of attendance. From what I read, they played in front of 90'000 people, which they haven't topped since then on a single show.
