TO CELEBRATE MY NEW CAR LET'S FANGIRL happy fangirling

Even Amanda... I love so much that song. He says "you're a different woman, that's for certain" and comes from "I don't know a thing about" to "I wanna know about". And the chorus. And the solo. One of the reasons I love the trilogy is that it carries deep, heavy subjects and you cab't be unaware of that when listening to the lyrics, and the music itself has sadness in it but it's always a jam at the same time. I love Extraordinary Girl, Give Me Novacaine and Whatsername from AI, for instance, but they're so devoid of any joy it's sometimes hard to listen to them. While I could listen to Lazy Bones in a loop, it will be okay. It's one of my favorites and the saddest of the trilogy, for me, but it still gets me going.

Yep Billie is stuck using those vocal filters and that’s fine and use the same settings when the music is recorded heavy like AI you couldn’t tell he was using filters on his vocals on AI until the Acapellas came out but recording the trilogy with clean tones and not such in your face they needed to adjust the vocal filters and they didn’t

There's way too much compression on the vocals and instruments. Compression used at that scale eventually kills off any dynamics the song has. Green Day is a band that uses dynamics. An example of this is Stay The Night. The live versions sound like a completely different song but the recorded version doesn't capture what was played live. I always wondered how the band sat there after the post production stuff was done and were like "ok let's send it out to the world". Maybe they had already booked promotional appearances and stuff? I'm not really sure what happened there especially when the band themselves have openly stated they were not happy with the production on it.

I think he knows that we find him cute but I don't think he feels the same for himself as what we feel, for sure. He doesn't see the same thing, we're always a bit harder on ourselves. I know that "they have bad taste, I'm not a good-looking guy" dates a bit, but who knows if he still doesn't feel the same? Sometimes he just describes himself negatively while we're just for him. I don't know if I should really believe (??) that he comes in here but if he ever does, I hope he sees stuff he won't necessarily see by himself. Like, I don't find myself pretty but the only things I've tried to look as such, were things other people pointed out for me. Without them, it would be zero. I think (and hope!) all the fangirls have played that role for Billie.
