  1. It's weird though because pop punk bands that say they're inspired by Green Day don't even sound like them. They all sound more like Blink 182/Southern Californian bands. Green Day aren't the ones responsible for what came to be that generic pop punk sound that those bands share, they don't sound like that.

  2. I love Dos. I mean I'm one of the few who love the entire trilogy but Dos is actually my second favourite Green Day album. I think it captured what Billie was going for perfectly. I even like Nightlife

  3. Yeah. Green Day is an awesome band but the rest of pop punk is uninteresting and I can't distinguish 99% of the bands they inspired.

  4. Unpopular opinion: "Wow That's Loud!" is actually pretty rad.

  6. Yeah, I also never understood why being the idols of the whole generation Green Day never really influenced some famous group's sound. Not good or bad, just strange.

  7. Wow! That's Loud is fabulous. I love the concept of describing the character's personality and his feelings for her through her bright clothes too. The lyrics are great. It definitely used to be an unpopular opinion though.

  8. I've only just realised that there's a fart noise in Sick of Me and now I can't unhear it.

  9. It is good he cares but I don't like that graphic, reducing it to a men vs women thing is misguided. As if only men are for this law and as if it would be ok to impose it if women decided it. People shouldn't be making laws about controlling other people's bodies full stop.

  10. I'm fine with Green Day not making new music anymore.

  11. I wanna talk about one paradox which I always hated. Green Day is my favourite band. But they are the guys who are guilty of one of the blandest and crappiest music genres ever - pop punk. All these New Found Glories, Bowling For Soups, All Time Lows and other same bands with the same cheesy voice who pretend to be very hard (but of course not) are all by no means more or less inspired by Green Day, And that's a pity.

  12. I would agree it's closer than we are thinking, but not as soon as we want. I think at the earliest we will get a late October or early November release, with a single maybe 2 or 3 weeks before. But that's at the earliest and just merely a guess!

  13. I'd never thought of it that way, but I do the same and go to greatest hits whenever I look up a new (established) artist! Funny it takes other people to point out the obvious sometimes šŸ˜… I don't like the new ordinary world .... Love the Billie only version though

  14. Omg it's my favourite promo they've done. Just perfectly irreverent. And all the merch is really cool too. I find it amazing and hilarious that they did that.

  15. I actually can't wait for a new album because then the God's Favourite Band promo will disappear and I won't experience secondhand embarrassment every time I see it
