Lol, I think one of the things I appreciate most about the guys on social media, is that it’s really them (most of the time) and not some manager like on a lot of other celeb Instagram/Twitter accounts. Usually the celebs have access to their account and occasionally use it themselves, but a lot of the posts are done by the staff, and it’s also normally someone else who determines the overall aesthetics and direction of the account...

I think you're right about the angle. I've just seen this pic which must be from Mike's birthday party (he's wearing the same shirt and necklace as in the photos Adrienne posted) and I see no difference in his face... ...which is nice because I like him both slim and a little chubbier. 😁

Anyone think it's time for a line-up shake-up? Other than Jason White coming and going as an official member, Green Day have had the same line-up from 1990-2019. Not very Rock N Roll of them, right? Time to let Billie focus on The Longshot and Mike focus on what would undoubtedly be the best solo career in all of history. Tre Cool could join.....Avenged Sevenfold. Now, for the new Green Day: Kathleen Hanna: vocals, bass guitar (female lead could be the change this band needs) Jason Freeze: guitars, assorted instruments (one of the Big Three, this guy know his way around a Green Day tune and plays just about any instrument needed) Al Sobrante: Drums (The only original member of Green Day we don't hear much from anymore. Time to rock, Al!) Benmont Trench: Keyboards, vocals. (A nice touch from a classic rock background) This will be the 2019-2023 lineup, before more shifts happen. Jason will get tied up in the studio with Metallica, never to be heard from again for about 8 years. Al will go back to producing, leaving Kathleen and and Trench to forge on, finding new members. Sure, Billie and Mike have been making music together since 86'. That's awesome. But the band did not become "Green Day" until 1989, and we are quickly coming on what I believe to be the day that the name was changed! May 28th, 2019 will mark 30 YEARS OF GREEN DAY!!!! WOW!

Dammit, I missed Mike’s birthday festivities! I feel like I’ve dishonored him. A happy belated birthday to him, anyways. This is all true. He’s always managed to maintain a slim physique, regardless of weight fluctuations. However, as you mentioned, just about every pound he gains/loses will be visible on his tiny frame. When you’re small to begin with, even a couple additional pounds can have an affect on your appearance. Luckily, that naturally tiny frame of his helps him maintain his slender build, even when he’s carrying a couple of extra pounds.

In Wild One, "She gave up on Jesus, for living on penis". Also, in Ashley, it sounds like Billie is yelling "ASHTRAY!". One more, in Christie Road, it kinda sounds like "Staring out of my window, watching the cops go by".

Had a dream a few days ago where somebody had invented the "Dickhead Detector" (a device that you point at somebody and it tells you within seconds whether that person is a dickhead or not, with 99.9% accuracy), and security at Green Day gigs were using these to weed out all the dickheads and stop them from getting into the show. I was anxious that I wouldn't get into my show because I'm fully aware of my dickhead tendencies and therefore assumed I wouldn't pass the dickhead test. But I decided to go along to the show anyway because it's worth a shot, right? By some miracle, The Dickhead Detector deemed me "not a dickhead" and I got in!!! And the best part was that only three other people passed the dickhead test and got into the show, so there was literally only four people in the crowd in total. The band didn't seem phased by this, they just played the show as if they were playing to thousands of people. So it was just like a normal show, but without the worst part. Literally one of the best dreams I've ever had. The only downside was waking up and realising that The Dickhead Detector doesn't currently exist, because damn I need one of those.

Where I live there’s both a town and a county named Armstrong so the name is everywhere. When I saw SWMRS recently the directions to the theatre took me through the Armstrong tunnel and I thought well that’s appropriate 😄

Every time you see/hear the name Armstrong, your brain insists it's something to do with Billie even though you know that there are hundreds of other Armstrongs in this world.

When you regularly drive past an exit for Stuart Street and think about "Stuart and the Avenue" every time.
